This paper deals with qualitative analysis of the so-called switched fluid networks. Such networks are used to model communication, computer, and flexible manufacturing systems. We prove that for any deterministic network from a specific class, there exists a finite number of limit cycles attracting all the trajectories of the system. Furthermore, we determine this number. This paper addresses a decentralized robust set-valued state estimation problem for a class of uncertain systems via a data-rate constrained sensor network. The uncertainties of the systems satisfy an energy-type constraint known as an integral quadratic constraint. The sensor network consists of spatially distributed sensors and a fusion center where set-valued state estimation is carried out. The communications from the sensors to the fusion center are through data-rate constrained communication channels. We propose a state estimation scheme which involves coders that are implemented in the sensors, and a decoder–estimator that is located at the fusion center. Their construction is based on the robust Kalman filtering techniques. The robust set-valued state estimation results of this paper involve the solution of a jump Riccati differential equation and the solution of a set of jump state equations.  相似文献

This paper addresses a problem of cooperative formation control of a network of self-deployed autonomous agents. We propose a decentralized motion coordination control for the agents so that they collectively move in a desired geometric pattern from any initial position. There are no predefined leaders in the group and only local information is required for the control. The control algorithm is developed using the ideas of information consensus, and its effectiveness is illustrated via numerical simulations.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of simultaneous H control of a finite collection of linear time-invariant systems via a nonlinear digital output feedback controller. The main result is given in terms of the existence of suitable solutions to Riccati algebraic equations and a dynamic programming equation. Our main result shows that if the simultaneous H control problem for k linear time-invariant plants of orders n1,n2,…,nk can be solved, then this problem can be solved via a nonlinear time-invariant controller of order nn1+n2++nk.  相似文献

Vacuum arc ion sources have been made and used by a large number of research groups around the world over the past twenty years. The first generation of vacuum arc ion sources (dubbed "Mevva," for metal vapor vacuum arc) was developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the 1980s. This paper considers the design, performance parameters, and some applications of a new modified version of this kind of source which we have called Mevva-V.Ru. The source produces broad beams of metal ions at an extraction voltage of up to 60 kV and a time-averaged ion beam current in the milliampere range. Here, we describe the Mevva-V.Ru vacuum arc ion source that we have developed at Tomsk and summarize its beam characteristics along with some of the applications to which we have put it. We also describe the source performance using compound cathodes.  相似文献

This paper presents measurements of the angular distribution of the plasma components and different charge states of metal ions generated by a MEVVA-type ion source and measured by a time-of-flight mass-spectrometer. The experiments were performed for different cathode materials (Al, Cu, and Ti) and for different parameters of the vacuum arc discharge. The results are compared with prior results reported by other authors. The influence of different discharge parameters on the angular distribution in a vacuum arc source is discussed.  相似文献

The production of electrically conducting metal nanopowder by electrospark dispersion in liquid dielectric is considered, in the case with a significant overvoltage in the discharge gap between the electrodes. An experimental apparatus with an air gap that creates an overvoltage at the working spark gap is developed. The two gaps split the voltage on capacitor discharge.  相似文献
