The effect of dietary CLA and n−3 PUFA on hepatic TAG accumulation, histopathology, and FA incorporation in lipid classes by laying chickens was investigated. One hundred twenty 30-wk-old single-comb white leghorn laying hens were distributed randomly to four treatments (3 replications of 10 birds) and were fed diets containing CLA and animal fat (Diet I), 18∶3n−3 (Diet II), or long-chain n−3 FA (Diet III). A sunflower oil (n−6 FA)-based diet was the control. Feeding Diet I resulted in an increase in hepatic total lipids (P<0.05). The liver TAG content was 32.2, 18.9, 29.4, and 18.7 mg/g for hens fed Diet I, Diet II, Diet III, and the control diet, respectively (P<0.05). The serum TAG was lowest in bilds fed Diet II (P<0.05). Diet I resulted in an increase in the total number of fat vacuoles and lipid infiltration in hepatocytes (P<0.05). The number of cells with 75% or higher lipid vacuolation was observed only in birds fed Diet I. Feeding diets containing CLA resulted in an increase in the content of the c9,t11 CLA isomer in liver TAG and PC (P<0.05). No difference was observed in the CLA concentration of hepatic PE fractions. The content of DHA (22∶6n−3) was higher in the TAG, PC, and PE of hens fed Diet II and Diet III than Diet I and the control (P<0.05). Feeding CLA resulted in an increase in total saturated FA in the TAG and PC fractions (P<0.05). Long-term feeding of CLA in laying birds leads to an increase in liver TAG and may predispose birds to fatty liver hemorrhagic syndrome.  相似文献

The need for suitable and cost-effective technologies rise with the growth of the internet of things (IoT) applications. These aim at handling voluminous data transmission in addition to minimum energy and latency cost constraints. LoRa networks are recommended for applications in confined spaces, long ranges, and less battery consumption requirements. However, the end devices in these networks communicate to all gateways in their ranges, thereby expediting energy unproductively in redundant transmissions. In our article, we explore the possibilities of whether LoRa networks could employ the advantages of clustering and propose two algorithms, path-based and data-centric, for such networks. We suggest that LoRaWAN technology with clustering can be apt for long-range, low power consumption IoT applications in the future. We study the impact of network density, node range, and cluster range on the energy consumption in data transmissions. The algorithms are compared with the inherent star-based communication of LoRa networks based on energy consumed, and our results show that, for dense deployments, clustering becomes advantageous.

We demonstrate for the first time herein that electrospinning of soluble crosslinked polymer particles (microgels) is feasible and that it can be used to obtain micron-sized fibers from these macromolecules. Most notably, the electrospinning approach is found to be successful also in the case of microgels bearing metal nanoclusters, and allows to prepare composite fibers containing a homogeneous dispersion of metal nanoparticles without alterations in the nanoparticle size and size distribution. Given the broad applicability of microgels as exotemplates and stabilisers for inorganic nanoparticles, the proposed preparation method stands out as a novel, general approach for the synthesis of potentially useful composite fibers containing inorganic nanoparticles.  相似文献

In this article the effect of graphitization in twodimensional c-c composite bodies prepared by impregnation of novalak resin is reported. Mechanical properties were determined by bending tests and microstructural features were studied by SEM and XRD. It was found that primary graphitization at 2300°C followed by graphitization at 2500°C improves the mechanical strength remarkably. Repeated graphitization and long – term treatment at 2500°C, however, found to have an adverse effect. Microstructural observations revealed that the level of strength is mainly controlled by a sheath developed around the fibre during graphitization. Applying an improper thermal regime affects the matrix – fibre adherence and may cause the destruction of the fibres. This enhances the crack propagation and causes early failure of composite body under loading.  相似文献

The results of optical phase conjugation experiments in a degenerate four-wave mixing geometry are reported at 532 nm in a new block copolymer of phenylacetylene and norbornene. The copolymer sample with an equal number of repeating units for the two homopolymers prepared by sequential addition of the monomers gives a third-order susceptibility value which is twice that of the homopolymer of phenylacetylene.  相似文献

Cadmium doped lead-borate glasses were prepared from the melts in appropriate proportions of PbO2, H3BO3 and (15–40 mol%) CdO mixture in the temperature range 700–950°C. The infrared spectra of the glasses in the range 400–4000 cm-1 show their structures. No boroxol ring formation was observed in the structure of these glasses. Furthermore, doped cadmium atoms were not seen in tetrahedral coordination. But the conversion of three-fold to four-fold coordination of boron atoms in the structure of glasses was observed.  相似文献

The 3% chitosan solutions incorporating 10% fish oil (w/w chitosan, containing 91.2% EPA and DHA) with or without the addition of 0.8% vitamin E were prepared. Fresh lingcod (Ophiodon elongates) fillets were vacuum-impregnated in coating solution at 100 mm Hg for 10 min followed by atmospheric restoration for 15 min, dried, and then stored at 2 °C or −20 °C for 3-weeks and 3-months, respectively, for physicochemical and microbial quality evaluation. Chitosan–fish oil coating increased total lipid and omega-3 fatty acid contents of fish by about 3-fold, reduced TBARS values in both fresh and frozen samples, and also decreased drip loss of frozen samples by 14.1–27.6%. Chitosan coatings resulted in 0.37–1.19 and 0.27–1.55 log CFU/g reductions in total plate and psychrotrophic counts in cold stored and frozen stored samples, respectively. Chitosan–fish oil coatings may be used to extend shelf-life and fortify omega-3 fatty acid in lean fish.  相似文献

An infrastructure development in landscape and clearing of more vegetated areas have provided huge changes in Malaysia gradually leading to slope instabilities accompanied by enormous environmental effects such as properties and destructions. Thus, prudent practices through vegetation incorporating to use slope stability is an option to the general stabilized technique. Few researches have investigated the effectiveness of vegetative coverings related to slope and soil parameters. The main goal of this study is to provide an intelligent soft computing model to predict the safety factor (FOS) of a slope using support vector regression (SVR). In the other words, SVR has investigated the surface eco-protection techniques for cohesive soil slopes in Guthrie Corridor Expressway stretch through the probabilistic models analysis to highlight the main parameters. The aforementioned analysis has been performed to predict the FOS of a slope, also the estimator’s function has been confirmed by the simulative outcome compared to artificial neural network and genetic programing resulting in a drastic accurate estimation by SVR. Using new analyzing methods like SVR are more purposeful than achieving a starting point by trial and error embedding multiple factors into one in ordinary low-technique software.

In this study, the effects of Pb, Nb, La, and Y replacements were investigated on Bi-based superconducting materials. In preparing the samples, we used a method called solid-state reaction method. The patterns of the X-ray diffraction of all samples indicated presence of Bi-2212 and Bi-2223 phases. The results obtained from XRD revealed that with increase of the melting point of substation elements, the Bi-2223 phase decreased while the Bi-2212 phase and impurity phases of samples grew. From the electrical resistivity measurements using the four-probe method, it was found that sample A with Pb and sample B with La replacements had the maximum and minimum critical temperatures of 111.4 and 81.6 K, respectively. Based on hysteresis loop (M–H) measurement using Bean’s model, estimation of critical current density (Jc) showed that sample A with Pb and sample B with La substitution had the maximum and minimum values respectively. These results may be due to the melting point of these elements with values of 888, 1512, 2315, and 2425 °C for PbO, Nb2O5, La2O3, and Y2O3, respectively. These elements were replaced by Bi2O3 with a melting point of 817 ° C. Further, the samples were prepared at the temperature of 845 °C. It seems at this temperature, these elements not only dissolve within the main matrix and participate in the formation of the Bi-2212 phase during the sintering process but they also participate in the development of the variety of the impurity phases as confirmed by XRD results.  相似文献
