Characteristic Features of the Optimal Processing of the Results of Measurements in the Case of a Random Observation Function

An analysis is made of the characteristic features and problems of the optimal processing of the results of measurements in the case of a random observation function utilizing a nonlinear Kalman filter. A method is proposed for increasing the convergence domain of the filter with additional processing of measurements in the frequency domain.     

A Method of Taking into Account the Effect of Fluctuation Modulation of the Reflected Signal on the Accuracy of a Single-Pulse Direction Finder

A method of taking into account the fluctuation modulation of the reflected signal is proposed. This modulation leads to power losses in the functional processing of the signal in the channel of a single-pulsed direction finder. An algorithm of the functioning of a single-pulse direction finder with long-term coherent storage which eliminates these power losses is developed.     

Influence of interelectrode gap and magnetic induction on the voltage of an electric arc moving in air under the action of a magnetic field

For arcs that are initiated in an air medium in rotation in a ventilated annular gap and move along parallel electrodes under the action of an external magnetic field, the influence of the magnitude of the interelectrode gap and magnetic induction on the discharge voltage is considered. The accuracy of the volt-ampere characteristics of the arc in approximating by means of simple empirical power formulas and with the use of criterial relations between generalized variables is estimated. Raising the Accuracy of a Panoramic Monopulse Radar

A method is considered for raising the accuracy and noise immunity of a panoramic angular Doppler pulse radar by means of coherent signal processing between periods for frequency modulation unknown a priori. The method gives an algorithm simple to implement and applicable in digital primary processing.     

Heat transfer mechanism in an electric arc moving through a magnetic field

A model of an electric arc moving through a magnetic field is analyzed. A Method of Measuring the Angular Coordinates for Objects Moving in a Group

A method is proposed for measuring the angular coordinates of objects moving in a group. It is based on the statistical characteristics of the complex reflection coefficients of a group and the errors of measuring the velocities of the members.
