Service providers, especially in the mobile entertainment domain, are facing increasing competition. The ability to design, develop, and deploy unique context-aware entertainment services fast and easily as well as the capability to provide intuitive user interfaces becomes essential for market players. Furthermore, today's mobile world is made up of heterogeneous networks accessible via various devices with different characteristics. Progressive users have the desire to utilize the same services and access the same information content on all available devices. At the same time, service providers have to diversify their services in order to remain competitive and attract the various customer segments making up the mass market. We introduce an agent-based serviceware framework to assist service providers in developing innovative services, thus reducing the time to market of the respective applications. The realized serviceware framework offers personalization, location awareness, and the multi-access service platform, a flexible solution for ubiquitous service access. Thus, our solution allows a heterogeneous landscape of end devices to access an application server's mobile services in a multimodal, multilingual, and multimedia-based manner. Topographical curves in images are defined by certain extremality conditions involving the gradient of the greyvalue function. Curves extracted by some edge operators and watersheds studied in geography are both examples of such topographical curves.In the first part of this article we list the possible geometrical features of certain topographical curves—such as intersection points, singular points, endpoints, curvature extrema and inflections—for generic images and for generic 1-parameter families of, linearly or non-linearly, diffused images (intuitively, generic phenomena arise with probability 1).In a second experimental part the same topographical curves are computed in discrete images and in Gaussian blurred families of images. It turns out that the geometrical features of the smooth classification also figure in these discrete approximations. The consequences of these results for edge-linking algorithms are briefly discussed. 相似文献

Utilizing cultured lenses from normal and homozygous glutathione peroxidase (GSHPx-1) knockout mice and inhibitors for GSSG Reductase (GSSG Red), 1,3-bis(2-chlorethyl)-1-nitrosourea (BCNU) and catalase (Cat), 3-aminotriazole (3-AT), the ability to degrade H2O2 was examined at two H2O2 concentrations, 300 microM and 80 microM. It was found that GSHPx-1 contributed about 15% to the H2O2 degradation. The Cat contribution was concentration dependent being about 30% at 300 microM H2O2 and approximately 8% to 15% at 80 microM H2O2. GSH loss measured as nonprotein thiol (NP-SH) was shown to be linked to most of the remaining H2O2 degradation accounting for about 54% to 72% of the H2O2 degradation at 300 microM and 80 microM, respectively. However, based on evaluation of the ability of GSH to nonenzymatically degrade H2O2, it can only account for about 36% at 300 microM and 19% at 80 microM H2O2 of the observed lens H2O2 degradation. It is, therefore, concluded that lens GSH must be involved in other reactions either directly or indirectly related to H2O2 degradation. 相似文献

Summary: The dicationic [(dppp)Pd(NCCH3)2](BF4)2 catalyst (dppp = 1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane) was applied in a liquid monomer, two phase process for the CO/propene copolymerization reaction. For the first time it was possible to synthesize propene/CO copolymers with an activity up to 7 500 g/(mol · h) and molecular weights of 500 000 g/mol. Activities up to 40 000 g/(mol · h) could be obtained with the use of the unsymmetric catalyst [(CF3‐dppp)Pd(NCCH3)](BF4)2 (CF3‐dppp = 1‐diphenylphosphino‐3‐bis[3,5‐di(trifluormethyl)phenyl]phosphinopropane) in homogeneous liquid propene solution.
In this paper, we describe the design and testing of a system for recording electroneurographic signals (ENG) from a multielectrode nerve cuff (MEC). This device, which is an extension of the conventional nerve signal recording cuff, enables ENG to be classified by action potential velocity. In addition to electrical measurements, we provide preliminary in vitro data obtained from frogs that demonstrate the validity of the technique for the first time. Since typical ENG signals are extremely small, on the order of 1 1 microV, very low-noise, high-gain amplifiers are required. The ten-channel system we describe was realized in a 0.8 microm CMOS technology and detailed measured results are presented. The overall gain is 10 000 and the total input-referred root mean square (rms) noise in a bandwidth 1 Hz-5 kHZ is 291 nV. The active area is 12 mm(2) and the power consumption is 24 mW from +/-2.5 V power supplies. 相似文献
Children with pelvic fractures usually are polytraumatized. Concomitant abdominal and pelvic injuries are not uncommon. Medical records and X-rays of 54 children, in which a pelvic fracture was diagnosed at our institution from 1974-1993, were reviewed. Children ages < or = 16 years and treated as in-patients were included in this study. The fractures were classified according to the AO-Classification. 47 patients (87.0%) had concomitant injuries. The mean Polytrauma Score was 23.7 (mean Injury Severity Score 30.5). Nine Children sustained an open pelvic fracture with rectal and/or vaginal tear. 15 genitourinary lesions were found in 13 children. 18 patients underwent laparotomy. A large pelvic/retroperitoneal hematoma was found in 11 cases. There were 7 liver lacerations, 7 splenic injuries, 2 mesenteric tears, 2 kidney injuries and 1 small bowel lesion. Eight children (14.8%) died with 5 of them due to retroperitoneal or/and abdominal bleeding complications. A recent follow-up examination (81.8%) with a mean follow-up of 11.3 years showed that long-term morbidity usually was attributed to pelvic concomitant injuries. 相似文献
In several experiments, we study the diffusion of microspheres with different radii in microarrays filled with a variety of aqueous solutions of ethylene glycol. We study diffusion in open and closed (sealed) microarrays. In sealed nanoliter wells, the tracers show pure diffusion, whereas in open reactors, a radial outward-directed evaporation-induced liquid flow is superimposed onto the diffusion. In general, one of the following quantities can be calculated if the others are known: the temperature, the viscosity of the medium, the radius of the microbeads, or the diffusion constant. The estimated diffusion constants in closed microarrays are in good agreement with theoretical predictions based on the Brownian motion. We monitor the motion of the microbeads under a microscope and extract their paths in time from the digital recordings. Ambiguous paths due to the crossing of two trajectories can be detected. We show that low microsphere concentrations or high viscosities do not hamper a robust estimation of the diffusion parameters. 相似文献
