The aggregate batch mixing problem determines the proportion (or relative masses) in which aggregate batches with different gradations are to be blended so as to achieve a target mix with a given gradation. As shown in previous studies, the gradation of a batch is not homogeneous and should be considered stochastic. Also, when batches are blended in the field there are random variations in the masses or proportions of individual batches in the mix. Assuming batch gradation and blend masses as stochastic implies that the notion of a mix (blend) satisfying the gradation of a target mix becomes stochastic. In such a framework, every mix has a reliability with which it satisfies the definition of the target mix. In addition, a mix is also required to satisfy various restrictions. This article presents an optimization formulation to determine the most reliable mix while satisfying restrictions on available quantity, budget, etc.  相似文献

Fault detection of the photovoltaic (PV) grid is necessary to detect serious output power reduction to avoid PV modules’ damage. To identify the fault of the PV arrays, there is a necessity to implement an automatic system. In this IoT and LabVIEW-based automatic fault detection of 3 × 3 solar array, a PV system is proposed to control and monitor Internet connectivity remotely. Hardware component to automatically reconfigure the solar PV array from the series-parallel (SP) to the complete cross-linked array underneath partial shading conditions (PSC) is centered on the Atmega328 system to achieve maximum power. In the LabVIEW environment, an automated monitoring system is developed. The automatic monitoring system assesses the voltage drop losses present in the DC side of the PV generator and generates a decimal weighted value depending on the defective solar panels and transmits this value to the remote station through an RF modem, and provides an indicator of the faulty solar panel over the built-in Interface LabVIEW. The managing of this GUI indicator helps the monitoring system to generate a panel alert for damaged panels in the PV system. Node MCU in the receiver section enables transmission of the fault status of PV arrays via Internet connectivity. The IoT-based Blynk app is employed for visualizing the fault status of the 3 × 3 PV array. The dashboard of Blynk visualizes every array with the status.  相似文献

Polymerization of methyl acrylate (MA), initiated by p‐acetyl benzylidene triphenylarsonium ylide (p‐ABTAY) in dioxan at (60 ± 1)°C for 1 h, follows nonideal kinetics (Rp ∝ [I]0.21[M]1.40) due to primary radical termination as well as degradative chain transfer reaction. The polymerization proceeded upto 20.49% conversion without gelation and results in the polymer of high molecular weight 98,000. The overall activation energy and the value of kp2/kt are 14 kJ mol–1 and 18.75 × 10–6 L mol–1 s–1, respectively. Recent technological developments require advanced manufacturing technologies for miniaturized and micro-scale components in various types of industrial products, e.g., fuel injection nozzle for automobiles, miniaturized medical tools, microprobes used to measure surface properties, integrated micro-channels used for drug delivery systems, micro-gears, and various aeronautical components. Through-mask electrochemical micromachining (TM-ECMM) is a feasible process for such products. In the present work, the finite elements method (FEM) is used for solving 2-D Laplace equation in the inter electrode gap to determine the potential and flux distribution for the anode shape prediction in TM-ECMM. Algorithm has been developed and implemented in MATLAB to estimate surface erosion of anode for finite time steps. Anode shape and undercut are predicted using FEM and compared with the experimental results. The shape evolution through finite element simulation is approximately complying with the experimental anode profile. This work would later help in tool (cathode) design for TM-ECMM.  相似文献

Multipath routing is an efficient technique to route data in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) because it can provide reliability, security and load balance, which are especially critical in the resource constrained system such as WSNs. In this paper we provide a survey of the state-of-the-art of proposed multipath routing protocols for WSNs, which are classified into three categories, infrastructure based, non-infrastructure based and coding based, based on the special techniques used in building multiple paths and delivering sensing data. For each category, we study the design of protocols, analyze the tradeoff of each design, and overview several representing protocols. In addition, we give a summery of design goals, challenges, and evaluation metrics for multipath routing protocols in resource constrained systems in general.  相似文献

Mitochondria are vital intracellular organelles that play an important role in regulating various intracellular events such as metabolism, bioenergetics, cell death (apoptosis), and innate immune signaling. Mitochondrial fission, fusion, and membrane potential play a central role in maintaining mitochondrial dynamics and the overall shape of mitochondria. Viruses change the dynamics of the mitochondria by altering the mitochondrial processes/functions, such as autophagy, mitophagy, and enzymes involved in metabolism. In addition, viruses decrease the supply of energy to the mitochondria in the form of ATP, causing viruses to create cellular stress by generating ROS in mitochondria to instigate viral proliferation, a process which causes both intra- and extra-mitochondrial damage. SARS-COV2 propagates through altering or changing various pathways, such as autophagy, UPR stress, MPTP and NLRP3 inflammasome. Thus, these pathways act as potential targets for viruses to facilitate their proliferation. Autophagy plays an essential role in SARS-COV2-mediated COVID-19 and modulates autophagy by using various drugs that act on potential targets of the virus to inhibit and treat viral infection. Modulated autophagy inhibits coronavirus replication; thus, it becomes a promising target for anti-coronaviral therapy. This review gives immense knowledge about the infections, mitochondrial modulations, and therapeutic targets of viruses.  相似文献
