The systematic relation between thin film transistors' (TFT's) characteristics and the deposition conditions of amorphous silicon nitride (a-SiN) films and hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) films is investigated. It is observed that field effect mobility μFE and threshold voltage Vth of the TFT's strongly depend on the deposition conditions of these films. The maximum μFE of 0.88 cm2/V·s is obtained for the TFT of which a-SiN film is deposited at a pressure of 85 Pa. This phenomenon is due to the variation of the interface states density between a-Si:H film and a-SiN film  相似文献

Mutations around His15 which lie far away from the active site,stimulated glycol chitin activity of lysozyme at physiologicaltemperature. Del-Argl4Hisl5 lysozyme, a mutant lysozyme whoseArgl4 and Hisl5 were deleted together, and has the highest activityamong these mutant lysozymes, had a similar binding abilityto a trimer of N-acetyl-glucosamine, a substrate analogue, relativeto native lysozyme. This suggests that the increased activitywas due to an increased kcat in the catalysis reaction. TheH-D exchange rate of the N-1 proton in the Trp63 which is locatedin the active site cleft, was enhanced in the Del-Argl4Hisl5lysozyme, while 2-D proton NMR analysis revealed no conformationalchange around Trp63. We conclude that some sort of fluctuationat the active site might be required for the manifestation ofactivity. This theory is supported by the finding that the Del-Argl4Hisl5lysozyme showed a shift in temperature dependency of activityto lower temperatures compared with that of native lysozyme.  相似文献

Summary: Uniformly sized polymer particles were prepared by an emulsification and polymerization technique utilizing a silica monolithic membrane, namely the “silica monolithic membrane emulsification technique”. In this paper, we utilized silica monolithic membrane as a device for the preparation of uniformly sized polymer particles. A mixture of monomers, diluents and oil‐soluble initiator was emulsified into a continuous medium through the silica monolithic membrane and polymerized. The particles obtained had a higher size uniformity than that of particles prepared by previously reported membrane emulsification techniques, such as the Shirasu Porous Glass (SPG) emulsification technique. Through the silica monolithic membrane emulsification technique, we could prepare particles having availability as a possible packing material for solid‐phase extraction (SPE) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).

We proposed a new method (;linearized method') to analyze neuroleptic ligand-receptor specific binding in a human brain using positron emission tomography (PET). We derived the linear equation to solve four rate constants, k(3), k(4), k(5), k(6) from PET data. This method does not demand a radioactivity curve in plasma as an input function to the brain, and can perform fast calculations in order to determine rate constants. We also tested the nonlinearized method including nonlinear equations which is a conventional analysis using plasma radioactivity corrected for ligand metabolites as an input function. We applied these methods to evaluate dopamine D(2) receptor specific binding of [(11)C] YM-09151-2. The value of B(max)/K(d)=k(3)/k (4) obtained by the linearized method was 5.72+/-3.1 which was consistent with the value of 5.78+/-3.4 obtained by the nonlinearized method.  相似文献

A third-generation biosensor for superoxide anion (O2-) was developed by immobilizing superoxide dismutase (SOD) on a self-assembled monolayer of cysteine on gold electrode; i.e., a SOD/cysteine-modified gold electrode (SOD/Cys/Au) was fabricated. A rapid and direct electron transfer of SOD was realized at the gold electrode by using the cysteine molecule as an electron-transfer promoter. The promoted direct electron transfer of SOD and biomolecular recognition by the exploitation of specific and significant enzyme-substrate reactivity of SOD toward O2- combined with the low operating potential enabled a sensitive measurement of O2-. At SOD/Cys/Au, O2- could be specifically oxidized and reduced to O2 and hydrogen peroxide, respectively, through the inherent catalytic reaction of SOD. This allowed us to measure O2- by polarizing the electrode both anodically and cathodically. We could successfully measure O2- by suitably polarizing the electrode, typically at 300 and -200 mV versus Ag/AgCl without the virtual interference from physiological levels of H2O2, ascorbic acid, uric acid, and metabolites of neurotransmitters. The response mechanism of SOD/Cys/Au to O2- and its sensor characteristics are also presented and discussed.  相似文献

A function of image recognition is indispensable to an intelligent robot which can coexist with a human being. Furthermore, the intelligent robot needs to understand the environment of their action range by getting information of characters and maps on advertisements and signboards in order to move autonomously. In this research, a method to search the route from the starting point to the destination on a guidance map, by extracting the road area on the map and revising degradation portions because of overlapping with characters or other figures is proposed. And the validity of this method is shown by the experiment using maps which were collected from advertisements or pamphlets.  相似文献

The multiple stability observed exclusively in forced-flow cooled superconductors is numerically calculated, and the result is quantitatively compared with the value measured by J.W. Lue et al. (1980). The calculated and measured values agreed well in certain cases, and did not in others. Based on this comparison, the effects of the transient heat transfer coefficient and ohmic heat generation on the quantitative prediction of stability are discussed. From this comparison, it is learned that a precise understanding of the transient heat transfer coefficient is essential for reliable predictions, and also that the ordinary evaluation method of ohmic heat generation, which considers the flux-flow resistance, tends to overevaluate the situation  相似文献
