Semantic Web society was initially focused only on data, but then gradually moved toward knowledge. If a vision of the Semantic Web is to enhance humans' decision-making assisted by machines, a missing but important part is knowledge about constraints on data and concepts represented by ontology. This paper proposes a Semantic Web Constraint Language (SWCL) based on OWL, and shows its effectiveness in representing and solving an internet shopper's decision-making problems by implementing a shopping agent in the Semantic Web environment. 相似文献

The maintenance of legacy systems is a continuous problem in the field of software maintenance. To assist in the maintenance of legacy systems, we have represented the legacy systems and the maintenance requirement in a compatible manner so that the maintenance requirement can be a clue for identifying the relevant program clauses and data items in the database. For this purpose, a maintenance component is represented by the maintenance mode (add, modify or delete) and property and key words. The corresponding information about the program's clauses is extracted from the source code of the legacy program by reverse engineering. The maintenance point identification algorithm—MPI algorithm—proposed in this research is theoretically complete and relatively efficient, and is proved so empirically. Using this approach, the system METASOFT has been developed for the Korea Electric Power Corporation which uses the COBOL programs and IMS database. It turns out that the system is well accepted by the users. 相似文献

Agent based intelligent search framework for product information using ontology mapping 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The Semantic Web and Web services provide many opportunities in various applications such as product search and comparison
in electronic commerce. We implemented an intelligent meta-search and recommendation system for products through consideration
of multiple attributes by using ontology mapping and Web services. Under the assumption that each shopping site offers product
ontology and product search service with Web services, we proposed a meta-search framework to configure a customer’s search
intent, make and dispatch proper queries to each shopping site, evaluate search results from shopping sites, and show the
customer the relevant product list with associated rankings. Ontology mapping is used for generating proper queries for shopping
sites that have different product categories. We also implemented our framework and performed empirical evaluation of our
approach with two leading shopping sites in the world. 相似文献
