Hit to Leads with Cytotoxic Effect in Leukemic Cells: Total Synthesis Intermediates as a Molecule Treasure Chest

A previously designed and developed 12-step total synthesis that includes [1,1′-biphenyl]-2-amine and carbazole intermediates and that ultimately produces the carbazole alkaloid carbazomycin G was exploited as a screening compound library with the goal of identifying potential lead compound(s) with cytotoxic effect. These compounds were investigated by using in-vitro tests involving the two human cell lines HL-60 and MOLM-13, which both model acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). The in-vitro biological test results were used together with the molecular structures of the various intermediates in a concise SAR analysis. Several of the intermediates revealed cytotoxicity (IC₅₀<10⁻⁴ M), although the final natural product carbazomycin G did not reveal cytotoxicity versus the two said human cell lines.     

Characteristics and nutritional value of biscuits fortified with debittered salmon (Salmo salar) frame hydrolysate

Effect of debittered salmon frame hydrolysate (DSFH) at various levels (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 g/100 g) on physicochemical, textural, sensory and nutritional properties of biscuits was investigated. The highest thickness was obtained for the sample with 25 g/100 g DSFH (P < 0.05). There was no difference in diameter among all the biscuit samples (P > 0.05). The samples added with DSFH had lower weight, water activity and moisture content than the control (CONT, without DSFH) (P < 0.05). DSFH at 15 g/100 g showed no detrimental effect on sensory properties of resulting biscuits (DSFH-15). The DSFH-15 biscuit showed reduction in cutting force and fracturability. Scanning electron microscopic and cross-sectional images showed that DSFH-15 biscuit had more porous structure, compared to the CONT. The biscuits fortified with 15 g/100 g DSFH had higher protein but had lower energy value, fat and carbohydrate content than the CONT.

为了提高加速度计应用中坐标系的匹配精度,提出了基于加速度计的坐标系匹配方法,介绍了其基本原理,并对加速度计的测角方法进行了深入研究.试验结果表明:该方法测量最大误差≤0.3°,满足实际应用要求,有效地解决了加速度计应用中的坐标系匹配问题.     

Fast Positive Feedback Between the Adrenocortical Stress Response and a Brain Mechanism Involved in Aggressive Behavior.

Aggressive behavior induces an adrenocortical stress response, and sudden stressors often precipitate violent behavior. Experiments in rats revealed a fast, mutual, positive feedback between the adrenocortical stress response and a brain mechanism controlling aggression. Stimulation of the aggressive area in the hypothalamus rapidly activated the adrenocortical response, even in the absence of an opponent and fighting. Hypothalamic aggression, in turn, was rapidly facilitated by a corticosterone injection in rats in which the natural adrenocortical stress response was prevented by adrenalectomy. The rapidity of both effects points to a fast, mutual, positive feedback of the controlling mechanisms within the time frame of a single conflict. 面积坐标法构造含转角自由度的四结点膜元

以四边形面积坐标作为工具,构造了两个含转角自由度的广义协调四边形单元AQ4和lAQ4。它们通过强式分片检验,与同类单元相比,具有很高的计算精度,能消除梯形闭锁现象,有很强的抗网格畸变的能力。

提出一种适用于单向实时数字视频传输系统的帧同步锁定方案。其方法在接收端采用本地参考时钟、状态机、锁相环，并结合CIMT编码方式实现系统自动维持帧同步锁定，而无需周期性加入帧同步码。对该帧同步锁定方案与周期性加入帧同步码强制锁定方案进行性能比较．并将其应用到单向实时数字视频光纤传输系统中。实验证明，系统自动实现帧同步锁定的方案是单向实时数字视频传输系统实现帧同步锁定的最佳方案。
