Haze measurements have been obtained for suspensions of polystyrenelatex particles of known diameter using two light scattering instruments which measure at angles of 90° and 13° respectively. The results agree well with the theory of light scattering and demonstrate the significant effects of particle size and angle of detection upon the instrumental values for haze. This information has been used to correlate the particle size distributions of a number of beers, as measured by Coulter Counter, with the corresponding, measured haze values.  相似文献

提出了一种在线样本更新的多元线性回归分析的雾霾预测方法。首先搜集了北京市天气状况,包括平均气温、湿度、风级等气象数据以及PM2.5、CO、NO2、SO2等大气成分浓度数据,然后通过散点图对这些因素进行主要影响因素分析,筛选出对雾霾影响比较明显的因素作为雾霾预测的依据。通过在线样本更新的多元线性回归建立了PM2.5含量预测模型,并将气象要素作为雾霾的判断标准。最后给出实际例子,利用多元线性回归对北京未来一天、三天及一周的PM2.5含量进行较为精确的预测。  相似文献

Anthropogenic haze, caused at least in parts by forest and agricultural land clearing fires in Sumatra (Indonesia), is occasionally causing air quality issues in Singapore, located 150–300 km east of the majority of these “hot spots”. The resulting air pollution partially blocks sunlight from reaching the ground, and consequently affects the electric power generation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in Singapore. In this work, a methodology is presented to estimate the haze-induced reduction of the light intensity reaching PV panels and the corresponding loss in the electric energy yield. An assessment of a major haze event in June 2013 is the basis for the loss analysis, which takes into account data filtering techniques in order to isolate cloudless conditions for inter-comparison between clear and hazy days. Data from previous years in non-hazy conditions serve as baseline for the determination of the clear sky conditions for Singapore. The novel method is further applied to investigate the power output of ten PV systems in Singapore during the June 2013 haze event. It is found that poor air quality levels during this event caused yield losses of PV systems in Singapore in the range of 15–25%.  相似文献

Low haze and anti-reflective glass has high potential applications in automobile and optoelectronic fields. Etching is a novel and effective method to fabricate gradient refractive index anti-reflective layer on glass surface. However, the gradient layer on glass surface prepared by the etching method usually characterizes rough porous structure, and the structural defect results in high haze and low abrasion resistance to restrict its applications. In this paper, a hydrothermal etching method has been explored to prepare anti-reflective glass. It has demonstrated to be a new and facile method successfully to tailor the porous nanostructure of gradient refractive index layer and largely decrease the haze of the glass, by adding complex compound in the etching solution. Compared with the etching solution containing NaOH, adding the complex compound of C6H5Na3O7 in the etching solution has the advantage to overcome the defects. The grain diameter of the graded porous anti-reflective film decreases from ~63 nm to ~18 nm, the etched film thickness increases from 0.44 μm to 1.55 μm, the haze decreases drastically from 23.76% to 1.00%, the reflectivity decreases from 5.88% to 1.08% and the abrasion resistance greatly increases. However, when changing the complex compound from C6H5Na3O7 to Na2HPO4, the haze is 23.44% and has no effect on decreasing haze. Structural characterizations show that the grain size in the porous gradient layer can be easily tailored by changing the ion radius of complex anion in the etching solution, and the optical properties can be controlled. The paper provides new insights into the nanostructures and the preparation approach of anti-reflective glass.  相似文献

Increasing the haze of front electrodes of solar cells while retaining high optical transmittance is beneficial for increasing the power conversion efficiency. However, conventional methods of fabricating hazy films require additional etching steps or materials. Moreover, depositing large-area transparent conductive oxides with uniform ultrahigh haze is challenging. Here, we combine the oblique angle deposition and the atmospheric pressure plasma jet to produce GZO with a uniform ultrahigh haze of > 80% (non-uniformity ~1.35%), high transmittance of 88% (referenced to the substrate), and resistivity of 1.96 × 10–3 Ω cm in a single step. We show that the high haze is caused by the “pre-deposition” of adsorbed particles on the bare substrate downstream and that the upstream dummy area should be avoided for high uniformity. Unlike existing methods, our method produces uniform films with ultrahigh haze and good transmittance in a single step without additional etching/ materials or changing parameters during operation.  相似文献

A modification to the maximum likelihood algorithm was developed for classification of forest types in Sweden's part of the CORINE land cover mapping project. The new method, called the “calibrated maximum likelihood classification” involves an automated and iterative adjustment of prior weights until class frequency in the output corresponds to class frequency as calculated from objective (field-inventoried) estimates. This modification compensates for the maximum likelihood algorithm's tendency to over-represent dominant classes and under-represent less frequent ones. National forest inventory plot data measured from a five-year period are used to estimate relative frequency of class occurrence and to derive spectral signatures for each forest class. The classification method was implemented operationally within an automated production system which allowed rapid production of a country-wide forest type map from Landsat TM/ETM+ satellite data. The production system automated the retrieval and updating of forest inventory plots, a plot-to-image matching routine, illumination and haze correction of satellite imagery, and classification into forest classes using the calibrated maximum likelihood classification. This paper describes the details of the method and demonstrates the result of using an iterative adjustment of prior weights versus unadjusted prior weights. It shows that the calibrated maximum likelihood algorithm adjusts for the overclassification of classes that are well represented in the training data as well as for other classes, resulting in an output where class proportions are close to those as expected based on forest inventory data.  相似文献
