An analytical method for the design of a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller cascaded with a second-order lead-lag
filter is proposed for various types of time-delay process. The proposed design method is based on the IMC-PID method to obtain
a desired, closed-loop response. The process dead time is approximated by using the appropriate Pade expansion to convert
the ideal feedback controller to the proposed PID·filter structure with little loss of accuracy. The resulting PID·filter
controller efficiently compensates for the dominant process poles and zeros and significantly improves the closed-loop performance.
The simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed PID·filter controller over the conventional PID
controllers. A guideline for the closed-loop time constant, λ, is also suggested for the FOPDT and SOPDT models. 相似文献

针对盾构近距离施工中变形控制的特点,以变形控制为目标,采用系统控制论的思想和方法,提出一种基于内模控制的IMC-PID参数整定方法的盾构施工控制方法。分析研究盾构施工控制中正面土压力和盾尾注浆两个关键参数对紧邻隧道变形影响的全过程控制模型APLOC。仿真结果显示,此控制模型具有很好的稳定性和鲁棒性。实际控制效果明显,相邻隧道变形控制在5mm之内。 相似文献

Two of control techniques of the Model Predictive Control (MPC) methodology, which are Dynamic Matrix Control (DMC) and Generalized Predictive Control (GPC), with IMC-PID are disputed in this paper. The main characteristics of these important control techniques, widely used in industry, are presented. The optimum solution of the predicted control inputs and outputs are obtained by minimizing a cost function that contains the squared errors between the reference trajectory and predictions output on the prediction horizon. These controllers are applied on a Process Control Module (PCM), a system with pure time delay, and tested in the light of disturbance rejection and tracking performance for the constant and variable trajectory. 相似文献

Multiple time delays and strong interactions among different loops are the main problems in the design of multivariable controller for non-square systems. In this paper, the concept of effective open-loop transfer function (EOTF) is extended to non-square systems. By applying the internal model control (IMC) method, the controllers with equivalent models are designed. For practical applications, the NPSO algorithm is used to obtain the parameters of the incremental PID with first-order lag filter. This new method does not only avoid the complex computation caused by the procedure of decoupling first and then designing controllers but also employs the advantages of IMC-PID's suitable for large time delay systems and strong robustness. Simulation is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method; also significant performance improvement has been achieved with the proposed method compared with other methods. 相似文献

In this article, a new analytical method based on the direct synthesis approach is proposed for the design of a multi-loop proportional-integral (PI) controller. The proposed design method is aimed at achieving the desired closed-loop response for multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) processes with multiple time delays. The ideal multi-loop controller is firstly designed in terms of the relative gain and desired closed-loop transfer function. Then, the standard multi-loop PI controller is obtained by approximating the ideal multi-loop controller using the Maclaurin series expansion. The simulation study demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method for the design of multi-loop PI controllers. The multi-loop PI controller designed by the proposed method shows a fast, well-balanced, and robust response with the minimum integral absolute error (IAE). 相似文献
