The purpose of this research is to suggest and develop a building information modeling (BIM) database based on BIM perspective definition metadata for connecting external facility management (FM) and BIM data, which considers variability and expandability from the user’s perspective. The BIM-based FM system must be able to support different use cases per user role and effectively extract information required by the use cases from various heterogeneous data sources. If the FM system’s user perspective becomes structurally fixed when developing the system, the lack of expandability can cause problems for maintenance and reusability. BIM perspective definition (BPD) metadata helps increase expandability and system reusability because it supports system variability, which allows adding or changing the user perspective even after the system has been developed. The information to be dealt with differs according to the user’s role, which also means that the data model, data conversion rules, and expression methods change per perspective. The perspective should be able to extract only the user-requested data from the heterogeneous system’s data source and format it in the style demanded by the user. In order to solve such issues, we analyzed the practice of FM and the benefits of using BIM-based FM, and we proposed a BPD that supports data extraction and conversion and created a prototype. 相似文献

随着大量的科研论文以电子文档的形式出现, 为了高效地检索这些科研文献资料,从中精确地抽取这些论文头部的元数据信息显得十分有必要.在条件随机场模型的基础上,提出了一种启发式搜索算法来对论文头部的元数据信息进行提取.该算法首先利用文本分块技术和特征提取规则来对文本进行预处理,然后结合条件随机场概率模型利用启发式搜索来进行元数据的提取.实验结果表明,在相同概率模型的基础上,该算法有着较好的性能,在精确度和召回率方面都有了明显的提高. 相似文献

The content–user gap is the difference between the limited range of content-relevant preferences that may be expressed using
the MPEG-7 user interaction tools and the much wider range of metadata that may be represented using the MPEG-7 content tools.
One approach for closing this gap is to make the user and content metadata isomorphic by using the existing MPEG-7 content
tools to represent user (as well as content) metadata (Agius and Angelides 2006, 2007). Subsequently, user preferences may
be specified for all content, without omission. Since there is a wealth of user preference and history metadata within the
MPEG-7 user interaction tools that can usefully complement these specific content preferences, in this paper we develop a
method by which all user and content metadata may be bridged.

High availability data storage systems are critical for many applications as research and business become more data driven. Since metadata management is essential to system availability, multiple metadata services are used to improve the availability of distributed storage systems. Past research has focused on the active/standby model, where each active service has at least one redundant idle backup. However, interruption of service and even some loss of service state may occur during a fail-over depending on the replication technique used. In addition, the replication overhead for multiple metadata services can be very high. The research in this paper targets the symmetric active/active replication model, which uses multiple redundant service nodes running in virtual synchrony. In this model, service node failures do not cause a fail-over to a backup and there is no disruption of service or loss of service state. A fast delivery protocol is further discussed to reduce the latency of the total order broadcast needed. The prototype implementation shows that metadata service high availability can be achieved with an acceptable performance trade-off using the symmetric active/active metadata service solution. 相似文献
