Comparative study on adaptive rational macromodels of highly resonant structures

Two macromodeling techniques using rational bases are investigated to accurately predict the natural frequencies of highly resonant microwave structures. Three methods are proposed and compared to calculate pole‐free solutions to the Thiele continued fraction and vector fitting pole‐residue models of the characteristic equation det[Z(s)]. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 对某续建加固项目进行了普通钢支撑方案和黏滞阻尼支撑方案的对比,给出了黏滞阻尼器的布置形式和设计参数,通过ETABS计算分析表明设置黏滞阻尼器能显著降低结构的地震响应,提高结构抗震性能,减小结构加固量。     

Is There a Window of Heightened Suicide Risk If Patients Gain Energy in the Context of Continued Depressive Symptoms?

The authors' purpose is to provide some empirical perspective on the important but understudied possibility that when people become more energetic in the context of continued depressive symptoms, suicide risk escalates. The authors studied 109 suicidal young adults; among those who initially reported substantial depression, a subgroup was identified whose energy was increasing in context of continued depressive symptoms. They were compared with others with regard to suicidality 1 month later. Results suggested that those who have incomplete remissions (of any sort) may be more ill to begin with, and this may account for higher suicide risk. An Empirical Study Evaluating Social Networking Continuance and Success

Social networking site (SNS) use decisions have led to major economic and social transformations worldwide. While many organizations seek to use SNSs from a strategic perspective to reach their customer, it is important to understand what makes SNSs successful in order to use them for competitive purposes. The current research evaluates the influence of the social capital theory on SNS success measures. A model was developed and empirically tested using two data samples to ensure valid and reliable results for success of SNSs. The results display the importance of social capital in SNS success followed by practitioner and academic implications.

松软厚煤层开切眼围岩稳定性研究及其应用

针对松软厚煤层综放面开切眼断面大和围岩变形破坏强烈等特征,首先对顶板按似连续体梁理论进行稳定性分析,继而对两帮煤体破坏和整体失稳情况进行计算,最后对各锚网索支护方案进行数值模拟,优化支护参数,选定安全经济的支护方案。现场工业性试验表明,该支护方案满足工程要求,具有较好的经济和社会效益。
