ABSTRACT

Food products as a source of natural colorants are gaining widespread popularity around the globe due to their ayurvedic and eco-friendly nature. Current study is aimed with the utilization of food products (Saffron and madder) as a source of dye for woolen yarn. It is found that, for Saffron, irradiation of yarn for 6 min gives high color strength by dyeing for 45 min in the presence of 2% of salts using un-irradiated dye bath of 1 pH, whereas for madder, 4 min is optimal irradiation time for extract to dye irradiated yarn for 25 min in the presence of 6% of salts using the irradiated dye bath of pH 1. The mordanting carried out at optimal conditions show that using both extracts, woolen yarn dyed at optimal conditions has given good color characteristics. It is concluded that microwave radiation has not only improved natural dyeing process but also make the process more eco-friendly and sustainable as well.  相似文献

文章以茜草染料染毛织物为出发点,研究了茜草染液的提取方法以及染色工艺参数对其染色效果的影响.结果表明,发酵24 h后,采用酒精提取的茜草染液所染毛织物颜色更红更深;茜草提取液在100℃沸水中能稳定存在2 h,但其耐酸、碱稳定性较差;茜草染料染毛织物的优化工艺为:染液用量6 ml,染液用量与铝离子媒染剂比例1∶2,染色温度100℃,pH值4.5.  相似文献

The influence of root cutting on the emergence of lateral roots was investigated in the cultures of horseradish and madder hairy roots. The original hairy roots prepared for inoculation were cut at various distances from the tips and the resultant segments were cultivated in flasks. It was found that lateral roots very frequently emerged from the segments, depending on the longitudinal positions at which the segments were obtained. To attain the effective growth, cultivation of madder hairy roots with root cutting performed twice at 0 and 360 h was conducted. The emergence of lateral roots facilitated the growth of hairy roots owing to an increase in the number of growing points (GPs). The dry cell mass concentration and the number of GPs were 9.6 kg/m3 and 1.9 x 10(7)/m3 at 672 h of culture time, which were 3.6 and 4.9 times higher, respectively, than those in the control culture without the operation.  相似文献

分别以金属盐和有机酸为媒染剂,研究了天然染料高粱红对亚麻织物的预媒、后媒法染色性能。结果表明,金属媒染剂和有机酸媒染剂对高粱红染料的染色性能均有所提高,其中金属媒染剂的效果较好,且预媒法好于后媒法。两种媒染剂对其牢度都有所提高。  相似文献

Since the last decade, the application of natural dyes on textile materials is gaining popularity all over the world, possibly because of increasing awareness of environment, ecology, and pollution control. In this research, extraction of dyes from madder at different conditions has been studied. The extracted dyes from madder were examined by TLC and HPLC. The adsorption properties of the dyes extracted from madder on natural polyamide fibers (wool) were also determined. The rate of dyeing at different temperatures, as well as the values of standard affinity, entropy, and enthalpy was calculated. The results indicated that increase of temperature leads to decrease the values of partition ratio and affinity. The adsorption isotherm was tested by fitting the adsorption data with Langmuir, Freundlich, BET, and Temkin isotherms. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci, 2009  相似文献

为改善茜草植物染料染色莫代尔纤维的可纺性,采用超声波处理方法去除染色后纤维表面附着颗粒物,通过试验探讨超声波功率密度、温度、时间对颗粒物去除的影响。在此基础上选取试验因素和水平,用Box-Behnken试验设计方法,研究各变量及其交互作用对茜草植物染料染色纤维表面颗粒附着物去除的影响。结果表明:超声波处理温度对纤维表面颗粒物的去除影响最大,功率密度影响最小;利用Design Expert软件得到回归方程的预测模型对工业化处理有预测作用;超声波去除纤维表面颗粒物的最佳条件为超声波功率密度 0.67 W/cm2,超声波处理温度43 ℃,超声波处理时间22 min。  相似文献

ABSTRACT:  A medium-term multi-organ carcinogenesis bioassay in rats was conducted to assess any possible tumor promoting effects of madder color extracted from the root of madder. Male F344 rats were divided into 5 groups of 20 each. All rats of groups 1 to 4 were given DMD treatment, consisted of multicarcinogens, N-nitrosodiethylamine (DEN), N-methyl-N-nitrosourea (MNU), and N-bis (2-hydroxypropyl) nitrosamine (DHPN), for 4 wk, while group 5 served as untreated control without carcinogens. The animals were then administered a basal diet containing madder color at doses of 5.0% (group 1), 2.5% (group 2 with 0.75% additional dextrin), or 0 (groups 3 with 1.5% additional dextrin, 4 without dextrin and 5) for the following 28 wk (total 32 wk). The total amount of dextrin in groups 1 to 3 diets was adjusted to 1.5% by extra dextrin because madder color powder contained dextrin. Key organs were observed histopathologically and glutathione S-transferase placental form (GST-P) positive foci of the liver were quantified. In the liver, 5.0% and 2.5% treated groups showed statistically significant dose-related increases in both number and area of GST-P positive foci, number: 2.81 ± 0.90 and 1.96 ± 0.93 (groups 1 and 2), area: 0.99 ± 2.49 and 0.37 ± 0.77, as compared with control, number: 0.87 ± 0.72, area: 0.06 ± 0.06 (group 3). In the kidneys, incidences (and numbers) of adenoma treated with 5.0% and 2.5%, 47.4% (0.20 ± 0.24), and 47.4% (0.13 ± 0.15) (groups 1 and 2) were significantly increased compared to control, 0% (0) (group 3). In conclusion, madder color demonstrated significant tumor promoting effects in the liver and kidneys in the DMD model.  相似文献

采用药用植物茜草的提取液对亚麻织物进行染色,探讨了上染率的影响因素,选用氯化亚锡、重铬酸钾、硫酸铝、硫酸亚铁、硫酸铜等媒染剂,并对不同媒染剂染色后的结果进行了测定.结果表明:亚麻织物在pH 9、100℃、30 m in、浴比501∶的工艺条件下的染色效果较好,且用后媒法染色后,织物的各项牢度均在3级以上,具有一定的使用价值.  相似文献

文章采用差示扫描量热仪、热重/差热同步分析仪等热分析仪器、紫外/可见光分光光度仪详细研究了植物染料茜草的耐热稳定性、酸碱稳定性及储存稳定性,测试了茜草染色毛织物的耐热压色牢度和耐罐蒸色牢度.结果表明,茜草色素在100℃沸水中至少可以稳定2h,茜草染料可采用100℃沸水染色;茜草粉末染料中的某些化学成分有可能在145℃分解,350℃炭化;茜草染色毛织物的耐热压色牢度及耐罐蒸色牢度均达到3级以上;茜草色素酒精提取浓缩液可以在室温下保存90天以上,其水溶液在酸性条件下较稳定,但在碱性条件下不稳定,颜色有较大变化.  相似文献
