Shorts in self-checking circuits

It has been noted by several authors that the classical stuck-at logical fault model might not be an appropriate representation of certain real failures occurring in integrated circuits. Shorts are an important class of such faults. This article gives a detailed analysis of the effects of shorts in self-checking circuits and proposes techniques for dealing with them. More precisely, we show that, unlike other faults such as stuck-at, stuck-on, and stuck-open—which produce only single errors in the place they occur—shorts can produce double errors on the two shorted lines. In particular, feedback shorts can produce double errors on the two shorted lines. The double error is unidirectional for some feedback shorts and non-unidirectional for some others. Furthermore, in some technologies (e.g., CMOS), non-feedback shorts can also produce double non-unidirectional errors. We also show that unlike stuck-at, stuck-on, and stuck-open faults, redundant shorts can destroy the SFS property. Then we propose several techniques for coping with these problems and we illustrate the results by circuit implementation examples.The present study is given for NMOS and CMOS circuits but we show that it is valid for any other technology.     

ESTIMATION FOR NONNEGATIVE AUTOREGRESSIVE PROCESSES WITH AN UNKNOWN LOCATION PARAMETER

Abstract. Consider an AR(1) process given by X ^t=γ+ø X _t+ Z _t≥ 1. where 0 ≤γ, 0 ≤ø 1 are unknown parameters and the innovations Z _t, ≥ 1, are independently and identically distributed positive random variables. We propose estimates of (γø) which are obtained as the solution to a linear programming problem and establish their strong consistency. When the Z _ts have the exponential distribution. our estimate becomes the conditional maximum likelihood estimate given X ₀. Under the assumption of regular variation of the innovation distribution at its left and right endpoints (assumed to be 0 and ∝ respectively), we establish asymptotic limit laws for the estimates. Consistent estimators for a class of moving-average processes with heavy-tailed innovation distribution are also presented.

无冲突Petri网系统活标识判定的结构化方法

为了有效求解无冲突Petri网系统活标识的判定及配置优化问题,提出无冲突Petri网系统活标识判定的一种结构化方法。该方法首先求取无冲突Petri网的各强连通分支;然后对每一含有元素个数大于2的强连通分支求取其无同步变迁库所索引集合;最终得到无冲突Petri网系统的无前置库所索引集合,基于该库所元素集合即可实现对活标识的快速判定及配置优化。通过例子具体说明了该方法的实现及应用。分析结果表明,所提方法具有多项式时间复杂度,较易于操作和程序化实现。     

具有“强积分小”系数的二阶泛函微分方程解的振动性质

本文研究下列二阶泛函微分方程解的振动性质: (r(t)x′(t))′+q(t)x′(t)+M(t,x(g(t)))=0给出了方程(*)存在非振动解的必要条件以及存在振动解的充分判据。

讨论了n≥3维球域上具零边值的一类椭圆方程组,Henon型椭圆方程组,它是Lane-Emden方程组的变形,即其主要非线性项各有一个在球心取零值的对称权重.通过建立对称Sobolev函数空间到加权Lp空间的嵌入定理,证明存在一条关于所论方程组非线性项指数(p,q)的双曲线,称为Henon双曲线,它位于临界Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev曲线上方,使得对于Henon双曲线下方的点(p,q),方程组具有一组非平凡解.
