提出了一种波形编码的新方法，阐述了其编码原理。该编码算法简单，恢复的语音质量较好。由于利用了矢量量化技术，所以该编码速率较低。

在每一周期的开始时的速度值V1预设定到传动装置上进行速度预控制，同时，反馈回来的实际值Sj与S1进行比较计算，得出当时偏差值△S，此偏差值△S乘以比例系数Ksp，得到Vk叠加在Vt上，得出传动装置应具有的速度控制信号V，然后V经速度／电压变换和D／A转换向传动系统的速度控制发出控制信号Uα控制执行机构的定位。调节Ksp的值使系统无超调无振荡。     

通用的自然语言词法分析机制

本文提出了一种通用的自然语言词法分析技术,其处理机构不仅可以独立于具体自然语言,而且又具有适合于未来智能计算机直接处理的规则形式和实现过程.文中还详细讨论了独立于自然语言的词法分析技术,以及我们在IMT/EC系统中实现的词法分析机制的工作原理.     

Automated fluorimetry in quality control of pasteurized and ultra-high temperature-treated starch soup

Automated monitoring of the microbiological quality of heat-processed foods by the resazurin reduction test was applied to microtitration plate incubator-fluorimeter technology. The appearance and disappearance of the fluorescing peak of resorufin was monitored on microtitration trays. Pasteurized or ultra-high temperature-treated starch-based soup was used as the model food system. Bacillus subtilis spores (ultra-high temperature treatment) and vegetative cells of Enterococcus faecalis (pasteurization) were inoculated into the soup before the heat treatment at levels which resulted in some survival. The timing of appearance of maximum fluorescence correlated with the number of bacteria in pre-incubated samples. Automated resazurin-reduction fluorimetry was compared with conventional plating, turbidometry and microcolony count by the direct epifluorescent filter technique. The results of the resazurin test correlated well with those of all the other methods tested. Fluorimetry had the advantage that the results could be read within 1–5h and the reproducibility was superior to the other methods.     

A ctivation measurement of neutron distribution in intermediate energy heavy ion target area

The distribution of neutrons produced by the reaction of 50MeV/u ^12C-ion on a thick Cu target are studied.The neutrons are measured with threshold activation detectors.Al.F,C,Al and In activation samples were used to measure neutrons with energy greater than 7,11,20,50MeV and thermal neutrons,respectively,The fluence rate,energy and angular distributions of neutrons,total neutron yield of 12C-ion and the emission rate in the forward direction of neutrons over 11 and 20MeV were obtained.

Contrary to this folklore, however, this paper reports, using the OTHELLO game as an example, that SSSup>*up> is much faster thanu824l59555/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-u824l59555/xxlarge946.gif" alt="beta" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0">. Mechanical procedure for proof construction via closed terms in typed λ calculus

In this paper is presented an algorithm for constructing natural deduction proofs in the propositional intuitionistic and classical logics according to the analogy relating intuitionistic propositional formulas and natural deduction proofs, respectively, to types and terms of simple type theory. Proofs are constructed as closed terms in the simple typed u/xxlarge955.gif" alt="lambda" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0"> calculus. The soundness and completeness of this method are proved.     

Interpretation of hydrogenation kinetics of spent oil distillate from u.v. spectroscopy

Hydrotreatment of spent oil distillate was carried out on a commercial Ni-Mo-alumina catalyst in the temperature range 260–340 °C, with a liquid hourly space velocity (LHSV) of 0.7–2.0 hup>?1up>, pressure of 4.5 MPa and ratio of 300 NL Lup>?1up> (normal litre of Hub>2ub> per litre of feedstock). U.v. spectra of hydrogenated and original spent oil distillates (measured in normal hexane) gave a band with a maximum at 230 nm. The change in absorbance at three selected wavelengths for original oil distillate and hydrotreated oil at different operating conditions was taken as a guide for the determination of hydrogenation reaction rates (including partial saturation of aromatics and sulphur compound hydrogenolysis). The rate constants of hydrogenation reactions (k) using a second-order equation and a model of two parallel first-order reactions (kub>1ub> and kub>2ub>) were calculated. Finally, the apparent activation energy (Eub>aub>), enthalpy of activation () and entropy () were calculated based on the values of k, kub>1ub>, and kub>2ub>. The calculated values of Eub>aub> based on k, kub>1ub> and kub>2ub> were 81.479, 71.188 and 62.882 kJ molup>?1up>, respectively. The values of based on the same rate constants were 76.670, 66.564 and 58.433 kJ molup>?1up>, while the values of were ?117.150, ?133.779 and ?150.823 J molup>?1up> Kup>?1up>, respectively.     

Allelopathic Effects of Volatile Monoterpenoids Produced by <Emphasis Type="Italic">Salvia leucophylla</Emphasis>: Inhibition of Cell Proliferation and DNA Synthesis in the Root Apical Meristem of <Emphasis Type="Italic">Brassica campestris</Emphasis> Seedlings

Salvia leucophylla, a shrub observed in coastal south California, produces several volatile monoterpenoids (camphor, 1,8-cineole, u765742563361g7j/xxlarge946.gif" alt="beta" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0">-pinene, u765742563361g7j/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-pinene, and camphene) that potentially act as allelochemicals. The effects of these were examined using Brassica campestris as the test plant. Camphor, 1,8-cineole, and u765742563361g7j/xxlarge946.gif" alt="beta" align="MIDDLE" BORDER="0">-pinene inhibited germination of B. campestris seeds at high concentrations, whereas u765742563361g7j/xxlarge945.gif" alt="agr" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-pinene and camphene did not. Root growth was inhibited by all five monoterpenoids in a dose-dependent manner, but hypocotyl growth was largely unaffected. The monoterpenoids did not alter the sizes of matured cells in either hypocotyls or roots, indicating that cell expansion is relatively insensitive to these compounds. They did not decrease the mitotic index in the shoot apical region, but specifically lowered mitotic index in the root apical meristem. Moreover, morphological and biochemical analyses on the incorporation of 5-bromo-2u765742563361g7j/xxlarge8242.gif" alt="prime" align="BASELINE" BORDER="0">-deoxyuridine into DNA demonstrated that the monoterpenoids inhibit both cell-nuclear and organelle DNA synthesis in the root apical meristem. These results suggest that the monoterpenoids produced by S. leucophylla could interfere with the growth of other plants in its vicinity through inhibition of cell proliferation in the root apical meristem.
