The growing popularity of the information superhighway has opened up exciting opportunities for companies looking to, not only maintain their current customer base, but also to reach new customers. One of the most popular methods to enter into cybermarketing has been to establish a home page or Web site on the Internet. Almost two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies currently maintain home pages on the Web. An analysis of the content of corporate home pages provides useful insights. Over four-fifths of the companies display products and services (93.2%) and company overview (86.1%) information. Roughly three-fourths of the companies present interactive feedback (79.3%) and what's new (71.1%). Less than one-third (26.2%) of Fortune 500 companies provide for online business. An analysis of the data also provides valuable insight into the future trends of home page usage by large business organizations. 相似文献

Changes in the amount, chemical composition and morphology of epicuticular wax in relation to rindstaining and peel pitting of Fortune mandarin fruits from trees grafted on different rootstocks and growing in different locations in the citrus area of Valencia (Spain) were studied. The epicuticular wax amount was higher on fruits from the north quadrant of the tree and was more influenced by the orchard location than by the tree rootstock. The main constituent classes of the epicuticular wax were alkanes > esters > ketones > aldehydes > fatty acids > primary alcohols > triterpenes. In the north quadrant of the tree the alkane and ester content in the wax of fruits from an orchard with fruits not rindstained in recent years was higher and the ketone and fatty acid content was lower than in fruits from an orchard with fruits rindstained in recent years. The epicuticular wax of Fortune mandarin peel had an amorphous structure in which crystalline plates and platelets were inserted. The wax layer was more damaged in fruits from the rindstained orchard. The results obtained suggest (a) that damage to the epicuticular wax structure may be a factor that can influence rindstaining and peel pitting of Fortune mandarin fruits but is not a determining factor, and (b) that wax yield is not related to rindstaining and peel pitting of Fortune mandarin fruits. © 2000 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

Web site usability appears to be receiving growing recognition in the literature. In this study the authors compare the web sites of Fortune 500 and INC. 500 companies based on 11 usability measures. The findings show that while Fortune 500 companies performed better than INC. 500 companies on most usability measures, this tendency was not consistent across all measures. The results suggest that for most usability measures, a substantial gap exists between the recommended guidelines of usability experts and current company web site practices. 相似文献

Architects' view of nature tends to rest on the assumption that it is inherently efficient in its use of materials and energy, and essentially ingenious and elegant in its solutions. This perception in science is one that has been propounded through Darwinism: the notion that refinement of ‘design’ is achieved through repetitive selection, variation and mutation. The renowned biologist J Scott Turner argues here that there is little evidence that living design actually comes about in this way. Instead, looking to Darwin's French contemporary Claude Bernard and his theory of homeostasis, he proposes that living systems converge on effective design much faster and more predictably than a simple regime of natural selection alone would suggest. 提取板蓝根多糖并测定其含量和摩尔质量分布。板蓝根生药粉经石油醚脱脂和95%乙醇多次回流提取(得到模拟板蓝根制药残渣)后,再用水提取多糖,用苯酚-硫酸法测定提取液中的多糖含量,以中空纤维膜分离除杂后的板蓝根多糖提取液并测定各分离液中多糖含量,计算多糖摩尔质量分布。结果表明：板蓝根生药粉中醚溶和醇溶物质质量分数为4.89%;连续水提3次、提取温度95℃、每次1.5h,第1次提取料液比为1:9(g/mL),后两次均为1:7(g/mL),3次提取多糖得率分别为7.34%、4.65%和3.12%,总得率15.11%;生药粉直接水提3次,多糖得率分别为6.51%、6.04%和5.69%,总得率18.24%;板蓝根多糖摩尔质量主要分布在2×104～5×104g/mol之间,摩尔质量在1×104～1×105g/mol范围内的质量分数为90.8%。大庆地产板蓝根中多糖含量丰富。多糖摩尔质量分布的测定方法简便、可靠,避免了反复分离、提纯带来的繁琐操作和实验误差。 相似文献
