The presence of protease inhibitors in soybean prohibits the utilisation of the raw beans for food and feed. However, little information is available about environmental influences and the effects of nitrogen and sulphur supply on the antinutritional constituents of soybean. As these factors may influence protease inhibitors, soybean genotypes segregated according to the presence or absence of the Kunitz trypsin inhibitor have been evaluated for trypsin inhibitor activity (TIA) in field trials. TIA was affected significantly by environment (geographical location), fertilisation treatment and genotype. Environmental means of TIA were between 69.5 and 104.8 mg g?1. Nitrogen application, which caused an increase in seed protein content, resulted in a reduction in TIA by about 15% as compared with the control. Remarkably, simultaneous application of nitrogen and sulphur in the form of ammonium sulphate had a similar reductive effect on TIA to that of nitrogen application alone, although soybean protease inhibitors are rich in sulphur amino acids. Significant genetic variation in TIA was found both within the genotype class with the Kunitz inhibitor present as well as within the class lacking this inhibitor. Water extracts of giant foxtail grass inhibited germination and radicle elongation of loblolly pine seed in a laboratory test. Most of the toxic effects came from extracts of dried foxtail tops, with lesser amounts from fresh tops and roots. Soil texture affected the phytotoxicity of the extracts. Eight chemical compounds known to be phytotoxins inSetaria were identified in extracts of foxtail leaves but could not be found in soil samples under the leaves. 相似文献

A semi-batch extraction process of anthocyanins was studied in a packed bed. Methanol was used as solvent and the raw material studied consisted of skins of the tempranillo grape, which was obtained from the pomace from red wine vinification. The results show large diffusional effects due to strong control from the mass transfer. The best results were obtained using a high temperature and a high flow rate. A penetration model is proposed in terms of a bed of spherical particles. The model provides a value for the diffusion coefficient of the solute within the solid matrix. It can be seen that the adjustment of the model is satisfactory and that it is able to predict, to a reasonable extent, the yield of the extraction process. 相似文献

A continuous process for the extraction of sunflower oil using supercritical CO2, featuring multiple extractors, one oil separator and three cascaded CO2 recovery vessels operating at different pressures, was devised and studied. For every single equipment of the plant making up the process a mathematical model was built. Experimental tests—consisting in measurements of oil solubility in supercritical CO2—were carried out in a laboratory-scale apparatus to characterise the behaviour of sunflower oil in the separation from the supercritical fluid. The mathematical model of the whole process was coded in the commercial gPROMS process modelling environment where both its simulation and optimisation—this latter assuming the overall oil production cost as the objective function—were carried out. Cajanus trypsin inhibitor (CTI) and Cajanus trypsin-chymotrypsin inhibitor (CTCI) previously purified from cv TAT-10 were further characterised. The modification of the inhibitors revealed the presence of lysine at the trypsin reactive site in both CTI and CTCI. Modification of tyrosine at the reactive site of CTCI did not abolish chymotrypsin inhibition suggesting the presence of leucine or phenylalanine as reported in other chymotrypsin inhibitors. CTCI did not contain tryptophan. Dissociation constants for the inhibitors with bovine trypsin were in the region of 0.69 nmol (CTCI) and 0.029 nmol (CTI). Although the protease inhibitors lost their inhibitory activity on exposure to 2-mercaptoethanol they remained attached to the enzyme. The inhibitors were not very effective against the protease from Helicoverpa armigera which is a serious field pest of Cajanus. 葡萄在全世界种植范围较广,葡萄品种识别对葡萄资源统计、新品种鉴定及遗传资源保护都有重要意义。以成熟叶片为基本材料,不变矩、面积、周长、主叶脉长度和叶柄长度等11维特征向量为基础数据,采用叶片特征选择、图像处理、特征值提取、建立分类模型等方法,运用国际葡萄与葡萄酒组织形态分类方法和改进的欧式距离等技术开发一个基于葡萄叶片数字图像的葡萄品种自动识别软件。共测试17种酿酒和3种野生葡萄,识别率达87%。该方法具有自动化、识别速度快、花费低、省时省力等特点,可应用于葡萄病虫害的识别、杂交新品种双亲的判定等。 相似文献
