用钛酸钾晶须(PTW)对超高摩尔质量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)进行填充改性,考察了复合材料的摩擦磨损性能,研究了其结晶情况,观察了磨损表面形貌并分析了其机理.结果表明随着PTW用量的增加,复合材料的硬度、结晶度以及维卡软化点都有所增大.PTW提高了复合材料的耐磨性,但摩擦系数有所上升.PTW的加入使得UHMWPE的磨损机理从黏着磨损和塑性变形改变成疲劳磨损和轻微的塑性变形,提高了其抗磨粒磨损的性能.  相似文献

Actuated artificial whiskers modeled on rat macrovibrissae can provide effective tactile sensor systems for autonomous robots. This article focuses on texture classification using artificial whiskers and addresses a limitation of previous studies, namely, their use of whisker deflection signals obtained under relatively constrained experimental conditions. Here we consider the classification of signals obtained from a whiskered robot required to explore different surface textures from a range of orientations and distances. This procedure resulted in a variety of deflection signals for any given texture. Using a standard Gaussian classifier we show, using both hand-picked features and ones derived from studies of rat vibrissal processing, that a robust rough-smooth discrimination is achievable without any knowledge of how the whisker interacts with the investigated object. On the other hand, finer discriminations appear to require knowledge of the target’s relative position and/or of the manner in which the whisker contact its surface. This study examines the synthesis of SiC whisker on graphite felt through the non-catalytic VS CVD (Vapor Solid Chemical Vaporized Deposition) mechanism in order to investigate its potential as a filter to replace the conventional DPF (Diesel Particulate Filer). Since the CVD process is conducted mostly in high temperature exceeding 1000 °C, many restrictions exist in selecting the substrate. Graphite felt is a filter form of non-woven fabric. The graphite felt was selected as a suitable substrate material for this study based on the VS CVD mechanism due to its relatively low cost, high heat resistance, and high flexibility. The appropriate SiC whisker structure of the nanoscale was grown on the graphite felt that exhibited the fore-mentioned characteristics. This enhanced the filtration performance of the bare graphite felt filter more than two times without compromising the gas permeability. Additionally, thermal oxidation resistance was elevated by at least 200 °C more than the bare graphite felt, thereby indicating the transfer of a part of the desirable chemical properties of the SiC.  相似文献

Porous mullites with a whiskers framework and high porosities were fabricated by the reaction sintering (1100 to 1600 °C, 1 h, in an airtight container) of an aerogel block shaped by the sol–gel transition of a mullite precursor composed of SiO2 sol, Al2O3 and AlF3 powders (as reaction catalyst). The effect of heating temperatures on porosity, whisker formation, microstructure feature and compressive strength of the porous mullites was determined by XRD, SEM and compressive test. The results indicate that after heating at temperatures from 1100 to 1600 °C, the porosities of the mullites varied within the range of 84.1–80.2%. The whiskers in the framework well lap-jointed each other to form the large space and became elongated and smooth at high temperatures due to the accelerated vapor–solid reaction rate. A maximum compressive strength of 16.1 MPa was obtained for the whiskers framework heated at 1600 °C; this strength was attributed to the strong bonding among the smooth whiskers.  相似文献

研究了碳酸钙晶须的制备方法, 探索了以MgCl2 为促进剂时碳酸钙晶须生长的影响因素, 通过正交实验找到了制备碳酸钙晶须的最佳条件, 即MgCl2 浓度为0 .50 mol/ L , 温度90 ℃, 搅拌速度为250 r/ min , CO2 流量为1 m L/ min ;采用偏光显微镜、X 射线衍射仪对碳酸钙晶须结构进行了表征, 所制备的产物中晶须质量分数在97 %以上, 长径比为20~ 30。  相似文献

Polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) tool materials with NbN binder without additives and PCBN with Al2O3 or Si3N4 micropowder and whisker additives were manufactured and compared. PCBN materials with Si3N4 whisker reinforcement have the best mechanical properties of all the evaluated materials. Composites reinforced with Al2O3 whiskers have the lowest fracture toughness. However, Al2O3 whisker-reinforced tools outperform both commercial and Si3N4 reinforced tools when machining hardened steel. Thus Al2O3 whisker-reinforced PCBN materials are promising for industrial applications, likely due to their higher resistance to oxidation and diffusional wear mechanisms during cutting operations.  相似文献

Magnesia whiskers have been made by hydrolysis of MgCl2–KCl melt and conversion of magnesium hydroxide whiskers. The morphology of MgO whiskers was examined by SEM and TEM. Composition of products was identified by XRD. Comparisons have been made on the morphology and quality of the products by different methods. Discussions have been made on the efficiency, product quality control and scale-up feasibility of these methods. Whiskers prepared by hydrolysis have uniform diameter but other shapes of magnesia are often found. Conversion of Mg(OH)2 whiskers to MgO whiskers is simple and easy to scale-up, but the product often has many defects caused by decomposition. Nevertheless, the single crystal structure can be reserved as revealed by electron diffraction. XRD results show that the purity of products by hydrolysis is better than that by conversion. The conversion method is more hopeful for industrial production.  相似文献

High temperature hydrothermal syntheses, using calcium nitrate tetrahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate and urea as precursors, and characterization of hydroxyapatite (HAp) whiskers are reported herein. The morphology and chemical composition of the crystals from a monetite to a hydroxyapatite phase were controlled by varying the starting concentrations of the precursors and the solution pH through the amount of urea that is decomposed during heating. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, infrared spectroscopy (IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high-resolution TEM (HRTEM) were used to investigate the products of the syntheses in order to find the optimum reaction conditions for obtaining the desired morphology and phase composition. Different morphologies ranging from single crystals of monetite through rods and plates of hydroxyapatite with different size distribution to whisker-like single hydroxyapatite crystal were achieved by simply varying the starting concentration of urea. Structural refinement of the hydroxyapatite whiskers confirmed a strong preferential orientation along the c-axis direction of the hexagonal crystal structure, which was significantly different from the usually observed random crystal orientation. TEM and SEM analysis of the apatite whiskers confirmed single crystal structure with the a c-axis orientation parallel to the long axis of the whiskers, with sizes up to 150 μm in length, 10 μm in width and with a thickness of about 300 nm, that grew from the same centre of nucleation, forming flaky-like particles.  相似文献

In the present work, the recycling of Si/SiC solid waste from photovoltaic industry for MgO-C refractories preparation has been introduced. The influence of solid waste powders as antioxidant additive on microstructure evolution, mechanical properties and thermal shock resistance of MgO-C refractories has been investigated systematically. With 4?wt% Si/SiC rich solid waste addition, the MgO-C refractories exhibited the highest strength (4.39?MPa) and residual Young's modulus (7.86?GPa) after firing at 1400?°C, compared to only Si or SiC-addition. The presence of iron in the solid waste also promoted the formation of MgO and Mg2SiO4 whiskers via catalyst-assisted method. Moreover, a dissolution-saturation-precipitation growth mechanism was used to explain the formation process of the whiskers. The improvements in strength as well as thermal shock resistance can be attributed to the microstructural evolution.  相似文献

本文观察分析了两种国产SiC晶须的表面杂质元素和形貌,得知晶须A表面光滑,其中有少量晶须是弯曲状,晶须B比较平直,表面粗糙.晶须A中包含有许多堆垛层错(Stackingfaults),人字状花纹缺陷(Chevrondefects)和锯齿状缺陷,而晶须B中仅观察到有堆垛层错.测试了这两种晶须增韧的氧化铝陶瓷刀具材料的性能,并探讨了晶须增韧氧化铝陶瓷刀具材料的机理.  相似文献
