弹性-粘弹性复合结构随机响应的各阶谱矩的计算方法

提出了一种新的计算弹性-粘弹性复合结构随机响应的各阶谱矩的计算方法，它是一种时域复模态分析方法。利用此方法获得了弹性-粘弹性复合结构在白噪声、滤过白噪声等典型平稳随机激励下随机响应的各阶谱矩的解析表达式，分析了粘弹性对各阶谱矩的影响。此计算方法简便、易用，无论单自由度或多自由度系统均适用，为进一步研究弹性-粘弹性复合结构在随机激励下的可靠性打下良好基础。     

Application of annexation principle of thermodynamic property of In-Pb-Sb and In-Bi-Pb melts

Based on the principle of annexation and phase diagrams, the structural units of In-Pb-Sb and In-Bi-Pb melts were determined, and their calculating models of mass action concentrations were formulated. Calculated results agree well with practical values, which in turn show that the models deduced can reflect the structural realities of corresponding melts and the principle of annexation is applicable not only to some binary metallic melts, but also to ternary metallic melts.

Real-time measurement of pointing action by using DSP

This paper presents an approach of measuring in real-time the vector of finger that is pointing to an object. DSP is used in the operation processing unit in order to do the real-time processing. The steps include the extraction of flesh-colored regions from an image, the labeling of the flesh-colored regions, and the detection of two characteristic positions on the finger so that the direction that the finger is pointing at will be calculated. The entire process takes about 29 msec, which makes it possible to have the frame rate of 34 fps. With this frame rate, this measurement approach is considered real-time and promising to be merged into other application systems. 详细介绍了C-D井在钻进过程中井眼轨迹的控制过程,总结了在C-D井中使用导向钻井系统的成功经验。用1根导向马达、2套钻具组合、3只牙轮钻头顺利地完成了定向、增斜、稳斜及降斜,7个目标点一次击中,且最小靶心距仅0.99m。用15d完成了这口斜深2287.09m、井斜58.40°、水平位移903.11m的多目标定向井,钻穿目标点之多、实钻井眼剖面符合率之高、施工难度之大、速度之快,在目前国内都处于领先地位。     

A Simon Effect With Stationary Moving Stimuli.

To clarify whether motion information per se has a separable influence on action control, the authors investigated whether irrelevant direction of motion of stimuli whose overall position was constant over time would affect manual left-right responses (i.e., reveal a motion-based Simon effect). In Experiments 1 and 2, significant Simon effects were obtained for sine-wave gratings moving in a stationary Gaussian window. In Experiment 3, a direction-based Simon effect with random-dot patterns was replicated, except that the perceived direction of motion was based on the displacement of single elements. Experiments 4 and 5 studied motion-based Simon effects to point-light figures that walked in place--displays requiring high-level analysis of global shape and local motion. Motion-based Simon effects occurred when the displays could be interpreted as an upright human walker, showing that a high-level representation of motion direction mediated the effects. Biogas and biomass technology: Energy generation from biomass and waste in the Netherlands

Within the European Community, the interest in energy generation from biomass and waste is increasing. A brief overview is given of several thermal conversion technologies, of biomass production and waste availability in the Netherlands. Based on this, the possibilities for energy generation from biomass and waste in the Netherlands are evaluated.     

Work-oriented development of knowledge-based systems: a case for multiple perspectives

System development is strongly influenced by the perspectives used by system developers. Current development methods for knowledge-based systems are based on an information processing perspectives of experts and users which has been criticized by a number of researchers. The paper argues that work-oriented development of knowledge-based systems requires the parallel use of multiple perspectives (including the information processing perspective), and that the use of any single perspective is potentially dangerous. As an example of the importance of using multiple perspectives, thepaper presents the situated action perspective, and shows how it complements the information processing perspective.
