Validity of Three Measures of Communication for Predicting Relationship Adjustment and Stability Among a Sample of Young Couples.

The goal of this study was to examine whether data from 3 different measures of communication (i.e., self-report, quasi-observational, and observational) can predict relationship adjustment and stability 1 year later when used conjointly in a sample of 62 young couples. The 3 measures of communication were the Communication Skills Test-Revised (CST-R), the Communication Box (CB), and the Demand/Withdraw Pattern Questionnaire (DWPQ). Through hierarchical multiple regression analyses, results revealed that the CST-R and the DWPQ predict both genders' relationship adjustment 1 year later when used conjointly. Logistic regression analyses revealed that none of the measures of communication significantly predicted relationship stability. In conclusion, the combination of the CST-R and the DWPQ appears to be useful for longitudinally predicting relationship adjustment. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)     

Inspection and Process of Tension of Cables of General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge

In 1997 and 1999, inspection works were carried out in the 384 cable stays of the six central piers of General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge, located in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Inspection indicated the presence of water and significant settlings in the sockets of the cables and corrosion along each cable and socket. The tension of the cables was also measured, and differences of up to 30% in the tension of the cables of some of the 24 groups corresponding to the six central piers (four groups of 16 for each pier) were found. The results suggested the need to retension the cables. This paper shows the outcome of the inspection and indicates the procedure and results of the process of retension, finished in July 2000.

基于二分内包围盒的玉米光照逆光线跟踪算法

为了在玉米仿真中构建逼真有效的光环境,提出一种基于二分内包围盒的玉米光照逆光线跟踪算法。首先,在玉米表面建立二分内包围盒进行预处理,减少光线与玉米相交运算量;其次,引入遮挡因子简化光能计算的复杂度;最后,通过调整光能阈值达到光环境逼真度和算法效率的统一。为了验证算法的快速有效性,建立玉米模型,对比不同包围盒求交运算的速率,得出二分内包围盒的求交速度最快,逆光线跟踪算法模拟出的玉米生长效果较为逼真。     

HD seis VSP测井仪DSI和STD箱体故障及解决方法

DSI箱体和STD箱体是HD seis VSP测井仪器的核心部件,维持其正常运转是保障井下设备安全工作的前提。针对DSI箱体出现的故障,应结合DSI控制电路图,锁定故障元器件,分别在配件充足和不足两种情况下进行处理。STD箱体的硬盘故障和电池故障有别于常规计算机,解决其故障的方法是遵循特点,做硬盘更换和系统安装,并重新设置引导系统,使系统进入正常运转。

涡轮叶片铸件的难点是叶片砂芯的制作。采用线切割的方法制作涡轮叶片砂芯芯盒，用该芯盒手工起模制作叶片砂芯。对于产品批量适中的铸件，本制芯方法可行而适用。

本文围绕如何提高虚拟环境中物体运动的真实性和实时性,对虚拟环境中的物体进行了预处理,并从相交测试复杂度、紧密性角度对几种常见的包围盒进行了比较,在分析轴对齐包围盒（AABB）树生成基础上,从存储空间的角度对AABB包围盒树的节点进行了存储优化和AABB包围盒树结构的优化,改进后显著提高了碰撞检测的速度,增强了系统的实时性.
