一次国际设计竞赛的尝试--多维住宅设计

在后工业时代，建筑设计已经冲破了西方思维所惯用的二元对立方式的约束，呈现出日新月异的景象，建筑表皮的创作尤为突出。这个住宅设计是从四维分解到四维连续的一种大胆尝试，并引入拓扑学的基本方法处理动态空间。     

小湾水电站高水位运行下拱坝和坝肩边坡稳定性分析

基于却荷岩体力学理论和方法,采用大型岩土工程数值分析软件(FLAC3 D ),对小湾水电站高水位运行大坝与边坡相互作用进行了研究,建立了其坝肩边坡和拱坝三维有限元模型。根据施工过程,在初始工况、开挖工况、却荷工况、加固工况基础上,考虑了正常蓄水位情况时拱端推力、坝肩边坡的应力和位移变化规律,并与其监测值进行了对比。结果表明计算值与监测值十分吻合,论证了坝体设计的合理性,为小湾水电站高水位安全运营提供了一定的参考依据。     

Development and operation of Digital Twins for technical systems and services

Digital Twins are new solution elements to enable ongoing digital monitoring and active functional improvement of interconnected products, devices and machines. In addition, benefits of horizontal and vertical integration in manufacturing are targeted by the introduction of Digital Twins. Using the test environment of smart factory cells, this paper investigates methodological, technological, operative, and business aspects of developing and operating Digital Twins. The following Digital Twin dimensions are considered in scientific and application oriented analysis: (1) integration breadth, (2) connectivity modes, (3) update frequency, (4) CPS intelligence, (5) simulation capabilities, (6) digital model richness, (7) human interaction, and (8) product lifecycle. From this, design elements for the development of Digital Twins are derived and presented.

Exploring dimensions to online learning

The study presented in this paper sought to explore several dimensions to online learning. Identifying the dimensions to online learning entails important basic issues which are of great relevance to educators today. The primary question is “what are the factors that contribute to the success/failure of online learning?” In order to answer this question, we need to identify the important variables that: (1) measure the learning outcome and (2) help us understand the learning experience of students using specific learning tools. In this study, the dimensions we explored are student’s attitude, affect, motivation and perception of an Online Learning Tool usage. A survey methodology was used such that validated items from previous relevant research work were adopted. 105 students completed the questionnaire. An exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was implemented on the data captured. Results of the EFA identified the items that are relevant to the present context and the items that can be used to measure the dimension to online learning. Affect and perception were found to have strong measurement capabilities with the adopted items while motivation was measured the weakest.     

基于时空维的房地产估价信息系统研究

在时空信息系统及时空信息可视化的研究中，最基本最迫切的是时空数据结构和时空数据模型的研究。本文在对时空语义及其模型化的探讨基础上，结合面向对象的原理，结合我国房地产估价的现状和特点，设计并实现了一种基于时空维的面向对象的房地产估价信息系统。     

A NEW LOOK AT THE OPTIMUM DIMENSIONS OF CONVECTIVE SPINES

The optimum dimensions of spines of various profiles are reexamined by taking into account the profile curvature effects. Simple working formulas for the optimum dimensions are proposed. When the ratio of spine width to length, δ₀/b₀, is set equal to zero, the present results are reduced to the earlier findings which are obtained on the basis of employing the length-of-arc assumption.
