Water mist (diamagnetic) flow in a superconducting magnet of 10 T at various angles is studied experimentally and numerically. Water mist is produced by ultrasonic atomizers and fed into a cylindrical Plexiglas pipe (inner diameter, 90 mm) placed in a bore space of an inclined superconducting magnet. The water mist is found to stop at some locations in the magnet at inclined angles ψ ≤ π/6. At ψ ≥ π/4, the amount of mist flowing out of the other opening of the pipe increases with an increase in inclined angle. In the computation of this phenomenon, water mist is simulated with 1000 water droplets of 3 μm diameter. Brownian motion is considered and the Langevin equation is solved. The numerical results show that at ψ ≤ π/6, most of the water droplets accumulate above the magnetic coil. However, at ψ ≥ π/4, with an increase in inclined angle, the number of water droplets passing through the magnetic coil increases.  相似文献

针对柱塞倾斜安装的某型航空燃油柱塞泵进行运动学分析,首先基于坐标互换法建立柱塞运动方程,然后采用 AMESim 软件构建柱塞泵模型,最后仿真分析柱塞倾角和转子转速对柱塞泵运动特性、流量特性及压力特性的影响。仿真结果表明,相同工况下柱塞倾角对流量的影响小于转子转速,但斜柱塞结构能增大柱塞行程,增加泵的供油量,适度改善柱塞泵的流量脉动情况。  相似文献

采用倾斜板冷却体法对亚共晶高铬铸铁进行半固态成形,研究了倾斜板角度对亚共晶高铬铸铁半固态组织的影响规律。结果表明:倾斜板角度过大或过小都将使得组织中的初生奥氏体较粗大、圆整度较小。当倾斜板角度较小时,金属液的流速相对较慢,枝晶与枝晶和枝晶与金属液间的冲刷、碰撞、剪切作用较小,晶粒易于长大,导致枝晶状初生奥氏体比较多。当倾斜板角度较大时,金属液流速相对较快,金属液在倾斜板上流动的时间相对较短,枝晶间以及枝晶与金属液间的冲刷、碰撞、剪切作用时间相对较短,导致枝晶状初生奥氏体也比较多。当倾斜板角度为45°时,制备的亚共晶高铬铸铁初生奥氏体的尺寸最小,圆整度最高。  相似文献

Analysis is conducted for slender beams with a varying cross-section under large non-linear elastic deformation. A thickness variation function is derived to achieve optimal - constant maximum bending stress distribution along the beam for inclined end load of arbitrary direction. Closed form solutions are derived for the large deflections that correspond to the various loading conditions. The analysis is repeated for a beam with optimally varying width (for arbitrary end force) and the width variation function is also determined.  相似文献

During the excavation process of underground caverns, the rational selection of the ventilation scheme is very important for the safety and health of construction workers. The flood discharge tunnel groups at the Changheba Hydropower Station are selected as a case to study the design of ventilation schemes in inclined tunnel groups; these groups are characterized by a gradient of approximately 10% and a complex intersecting relationship among the tunnels. The Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method is used to simulate the fluid dynamics in tunnel groups when different ventilation schemes are employed. Four ventilation schemes with the same duct at different positions along the transverse section are formulated, and the scheme approaching the right side with most of the construction adits is adopted in engineering after a comparative analysis, as it offers a well-distributed velocity field and sufficient security distance. The study reveals that flow vortices appear in the tunnels with a long axis length ranging from 5 m to 20 m; the observation that the flow velocity on the transverse sections is away from the heading face indicates that a low-velocity area is always present in the vicinity of an air duct, and the security distance on the upstream side is 60% shorter than on the downstream side with the same air-blower when the tunnels have a 10% gradient. In addition, when the excavation distance rises 200 m, the ventilation condition in the tunnels, especially in the areas around tunnel intersections, is greatly improved by the completion of pilot tunnels and shafts in advance.  相似文献

Flame spread is an important parameter used in the evaluation of hazards for fire safety applications. The problem of understanding and modeling flame spread has been approached before, however new developments continue to challenge our current view of the subject, necessitating future research efforts in the field. In this review, the problem of flame spread will be revisited, with a particular emphasis on the effect of flow and geometry on concurrent flame spread over solid fuels. The majority of this research is based on that of the senior author, who has worked on wind-driven flame spread, inclined fire spread, flame spread through discrete fuels and the particular problem of wildland fires, where all of the above scenarios play an important role. Recent developments in these areas have improved our understanding of flame-spread processes and will be reviewed, and areas for future research will be highlighted.  相似文献
