This paper presents a new method for the tolerance analysis of plating and heat treatment operations. It is suitable for both
manual and computerised tolerance analysis. The new method uses a datum-hierarchy tree to identify tolerance stacks and a
stock removal set matrix to calculate the positions of surfaces created during the manufacturing sequence. A tolerance chart
is used to associate stock removal sets with the geometry of the workpiece, to show the manufacturing sequence, and to record
the operation data and the tolerance analysis results. Plating and heat treatment operations are represented as edges in the
tree, so that for each operation (edge) the input and output nodes represent consecutive surfaces in a stock removal set.
Rules are given for calculating the tolerance stackups and the positions of the surfaces in the stock removal sets. The method

A novel photocatalytic deposition method for the preparation of a thin tubular palladium membrane is presented in this paper.
The membrane is prepared on a porous asymmetric TiO2 support by photocatalytic reaction of palladium ion, followed by electroless plating. Gas permeation results show that the
membrane exhibits increased hydrogen permeance with the increase of temperature. The hydrogen permeance and selectivity to
nitrogen at 773 K are about 1.43×l0−6 mol m−2 s−1 Pa−1 and 17, respectively, when the pressure in the feed side is 0.1 MPa. The activation energy of hydrogen permeation is 11.06
kJ/mol at the temperature range of 573–773 K. 相似文献

Poly(ethylene terephthalate) films were treated with aqueous sodium hydroxide solutions of different concentrations for various times. The rate of weight loss increased with the addition of a swelling agent (methylene chloride) or a cationic surfactant. The surface roughness of the treated films was determined from atomic force microscopy (AFM) and pore diameter was obtained from scanning electron microscopy (SEM). In general, surface roughness was found to increase with increasing weight loss for the treated films. A maximum roughness was obtained for samples with a weight loss of approximately 15-20%, beyond which the roughness of the samples decreased. The addition of methylene chloride and surfactant resulted in an almost two-fold increase in the roughness for all treatment times investigated. The adhesion of electrolessly plated platinum film was dependent on the contact area produced by chemical treatment. Treatments producing smaller diameter pores of greater depth gave better adhesion. 相似文献

Energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) and infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (IRRAS) have been previously used for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of PTFE in gold–PTFE composite coatings. The inclusion rate of PTFE particles in the composite coating is determined close to the surface by these two methods and particularly within a thickness of 0.5 μm by EDS. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is investigated for a direct determination of the inclusion rate of PTFE, independently of the depth in the coating. The gold matrix allows us to release from metal oxidation and, associated with PTFE (chemically inert), to isolate easily the composite coating by dissolution of the metal support. Correlation is made between the DSC and EDS methods previously proposed as detection tools. 相似文献

The properties of the lead film electrode designed for adsorptive stripping voltammetric measurements of organic compounds were examined by electrochemical and microscopic techniques. The effect of Pb(II) concentration, the influence of deposition potential and time of the lead film formation on the determination of bleomycin at an in situ lead-coated glassy carbon electrode have been studied. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was used to characterize the Pb crystallite growth on the glassy carbon surface.
