Surface Hardening of High-Strength Low Alloy Steels (HSLA) Dual-Phase Steels by Ball Burnishing Using Factorial Design

Burnishing is used increasingly as a finishing operation which gives additional advantages such as increased hardness, fatigue strength, and wear resistance. Experimental work based on 3⁴ factorial design was carried out to establish the effects of ball burnishing parameters on the surface hardness of high-strength low alloy steels (HSLA) dual-phase (DP) steel specimens. Statistical analysis of the results shows that the speed, feed, lubricant and ball diameter have significant effect on surface hardness.

某基地设备综合监控系统设计与实现

根据海军某基地实际附属设备及环境参数的监控要求,设计并实现了自动化设备综合监控系统。该系统使用西门子WinCC及S7-300/200 PLC开发完成,实现了WinCC C/S,B/S架构及S7-300/200PLC的Profibus-DP主从站结构,构建了集环境温湿度监控、设备监控、变电站监控和风水监控一体的综合监控系统,解决了复杂的第三方通讯、控制逻辑问题,实现了设备状态信息现场采集、中心管理、远程控制的功能。实际的运行效果证明,该系统设计合理,具有良好的可靠性和实用性。     

Characterization of ramie yarn treated with sodium hydroxide and crosslinked by 1,2,3,4‐butanetetracarboxylic acid

Ramie yarns were treated with various concentrations of NaOH at room temperature and subsequently crosslinked with 1,2,3,4‐butanetetracarboxylic acid (BTCA). The microstructure and tensile properties of the treated yarns were characterized. X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and FTIR were used to study the crystalline structure of the resultant ramie yarns. The results showed that the maximum change in the structure of the alkali‐modified ramie took place at 16% NaOH, which would completely transform cellulose I to cellulose II. At the same time, the crystallinity index and fiber orientation decreased to the minimum value while the absorption properties were enhanced. The average degree of polymerization (DP ) of the treated ramie yarns slightly decreased after NaOH treatment. Tensile properties including tenacity, breaking elongation, and modulus of the treated yarns were also investigated.
