近年来,以福斯特、皮亚诺、罗杰斯等为代表的“高技派”在继续关注时代进步与技术发展的同时,更趋向于结合自然气候环境、利用适宜材料技术和反映传统文化精神等建筑的地域性元素以丰富其建筑创作。因此,地域性———作为建筑的本体的重要属性之一,已渐渐成为“高技派”建筑发展中不可或缺的动力因素。

天然气脱水系统的技术改造

河南省开封市CNG一号加气站中的高压脱水装置，存在着因压缩机油污分子筛干燥剂，导致干燥剂使用周期短、更换困难、能耗大等诸多弊端，亟需改造。为此，将高压脱水装置改为低压脱水装置，延长了吸附周期，减少了再生频次，并大大降低了电能和天然气消耗量，获得年减少电、气开支30万元的直接经济效益。     

Inference from models of software systems

The inferences which can validly be drawn about a software system based on reasoning about a model of the system depend on the precise relationship between the system and the model. Formal properties of a variety of such modeling relationships are examined, particularly relationships in which, if a given computation is possible in the system, the corresponding computations (if any) are also possible in the model. Therefore, if a particular (perhaps undesirable) computation is not possible in the model, no corresponding computation is possible in the original system. Inferences like these can be used to show, for example, that a particular error is absent from the original system if it is not manifested in the model. It is shown that many modeling techniques that are intuitively rather natural and easy to describe are of this kind.     

Form Feature and Tolerance Transfer from a 3D Model to a Set-up Planning System

Currently, most CAD systems, even the feature-based design systems which were developed for CAPP, cannot provide exact information about an object (e.g. dimensions and tolerances). Some feature-based design systems can provide product data directly or indirectly; however, most CAPP systems still do not have an interface with CAD systems. The product data required by CAPP systems usually has a specific format which is unique to the system. In a CAPP system, it is essential for set-up planning to ensure the precision of the machining processes. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an interface with CAD models, so that the part data file can be obtained directly from the CAD representation. This paper proposes an approach for integrating the set-up planning system with a feature-based CAD system. By using an object-oriented approach – Product Data Translator (PDT), the computer-automated extraction of geometry and complete tolerance information was achieved; and the automated generation of the tool approach direction was developed. The effects of vicarious exposure to the recent massacre at Virginia Tech.

The authors examined whether exposure to the April 2007 Virginia Tech school shootings would increase symptoms of acute stress in students at another university who were not personally involved, but who followed the case vicariously through news media. The authors ran a series of regression analyses using multinomial logit (MNL) models, a methodology which can be used for dealing with categorical outcome variables. The authors found that as TV viewing of the Virginia Tech case increased, the probability that a student would respond with moderate or acute stress symptoms also increased. The authors were able to describe the magnitude of the relationship between vicarious exposure to the Virginia Tech case and acute stress symptomatology.
