《建筑师》创刊初十年对我国建筑学科再发展

本文系统分析并研究了（建筑师）1979—1989年间的发展历程，呈现这一时期文宝及其作者群的清况，以及该刊对中国建筑学科再发展的贡献，旨在为（建筑师）杂志的建设与发展提供参考。     

Plug-load densities for energy analysis: K-12 schools

Benchmarking plug-load densities is essential to bypass arbitrary and/or incorrect inputs used in building energy analysis. As more building simulationists play a decision-making role for the design team, they tend to lean on building energy standards and guidelines for preliminary inputs such as plug-load densities. It is necessary for building energy standards and rating systems to implement plug-load density benchmarks to reward design teams in their efforts to reduce plug-load energy use. Using case study buildings, this paper establishes benchmark plug-load densities for K-12 schools under two new categories – classrooms with computers and classrooms without computers. Eighteen K-12 schools including 9 elementary, 2 middle, and 7 high schools are assessed for actual plug-load densities. For the same case study buildings, four existing approaches – NREL, COMNET, ASHRAE 90.1-1989, and Title-24 are evaluated for plug-load densities. Results show under- and over-estimation of plug-load densities over actual densities. The development of benchmark for K-12 schools will pave way for instituting targets for trimming plug-load densities in new and retrofit building projects.

对近圆相对运动中Ｈｉｌｌ方程的精度进行了理论分析，指出Ｈｌｉｉ方程的发散性是由于没有计及非线性影响造成的。给出了Ｈｉｌｌ方程的改进形式，仿真表明，改进形式比经典Ｈｉｌｌ方程更符合实际情况。     

上海市办公楼室内空气品质的测试和分析

本文利用上海市六幢大楼的实测数据对上海市办公楼室内空气品质环境作了客观和主观两方面的评价,经分析可知,上海市办公楼内室内空气品质环境在客观评价中未达标的情况比较严重,而主观调研的结果也显示,上海市办公楼室内空气品质的可接受率远远低于ASHRAE62-1989所提出的可接受室内空气品质应满足80％的可接受率,实测说明,上海办公楼内仍然存在建筑病综合症(SBS)。同时本文强调基于“可感受的可接受的室内空气品质”这一指标,主观评价良好应是建筑物的设计人员、建造者及管理人员不懈追求的目标。     

Recombinant Landscapes in the American City

Support for school-based social competence promotion.

Notes omissions from the February 1989 special issue of American Psychologist on children and their development. Insufficient attention was paid to (1) the prevention of dysfunctional health-compromising behaviors through the promotion of children's social competence and (2) schools as a primary arena in which such research is conducted. Minority students of color and the psychology graduate pipeline: Disquieting and encouraging trends, 1989-2003.

Trends since 1989 in the minority graduate pipeline in psychology are examined, with special focus on trends in recent years. Encouraging trends generally outweigh troubling ones at lower levels of the pipeline. However, in recent years disquieting trends dominate at the higher pipeline levels. Promising trends include a rise in the percentage (to nearly 25%) of minority psychology students receiving the bachelor's degree and a rise to more than 20% receiving the master's degree. Troubling trends include the stalling of growth in minority PhD degree receipt since 1999 and the lack of growth in the percentage of African American and Hispanic/Latino(a) students entering PhD departments. Given the mixed findings, one of the highest priorities for psychology must be continued and persistent efforts to develop practices and policies that enhance recruitment, high levels of achievement, and degree receipt for students of color. Wearable Technologies,Portable Architectures and the Vicissitudes of the Space Between

The omnipresence of the iPod and mobile phone has ensured portable and wearable technologies' highly privileged position in contemporary society. They are at the top of the pile where conspicuous consumption is concerned - you only have to visit an Apple store on a Saturday afternoon to witness the degree to which this highly sought-after gadgetry has become subject to consumer frenzy and speculation. Here, Despina Papadopoulos reviews the particular social and cultural impact of wearable devices. On Photomorality

Abstract

Susan Sontag has been one of America's most influential and admired critics of literature, popular culture, and aspects of the fine arts. Her essays on pornography, 1950s science fiction films, and ‘new sensibilities’, are quoted on every college campus. Changes in her aesthetic or moral posture are registered by academicians with the same alarm with which financiers greet vacillations on Wall Street. For a trend-setting wordsmith, it is somewhat surprising that she comes so very late to photography, almost by accident, it would seem, into a field where Walter Benjamin, William Ivins, Jr., André Malraux, and other pioneering philosophers have already established the major parameters of commentary. What is astonishing, dismaying, and totally unexpected, is that she writes about photography as if she had just invented the subject.
