浅谈索债型非法拘禁罪中的“索”＂债＂

索债型的非法拘禁罪,是随着我国社会发展所形成的一种特殊的非法拘禁罪,这种情形的出现引发了法学界不同学者的纷争。通过对索债型非法拘禁罪的概念、特征、存在依据和索债型非法拘禁罪的司法认定等一系列问题来分析索债型非法拘禁罪的法条内涵以及关于其的建议和完善措施。对于索债型的非法拘禁罪的研究有助于丰富我国非法拘禁罪的理论,能更加清楚明确地追究犯罪人的刑事责任,有助于我国的司法实践。刑法中还没有对于索债型非法拘禁罪进行具体规定,我国刑法应尽快对索债型非法拘禁罪的问题做出具体详细的规定,从而完善我国非法拘禁罪的理论。     

空心玻璃微珠填充改性双马来酰胺树脂复合材料耐热性能的研究

采用空心玻璃微珠填充改性双马来酰胺树脂(BMI),研究了玻璃微珠用量、粒径及表面处理对材料性能的影响,并用热机械分析仪(TMA)测定了材料的线膨胀系数。结果表明:随着玻璃微珠质量分数的增加,马丁耐热温度提高,线膨胀系数呈降低的趋势,小粒径(10μm)和经过表面处理的玻璃微珠对马丁耐热温度改性的效果更加显著。     

Actualising (Overlooked) Material Capacities

An emphasis on material synthesis is not without its pitfalls and challenges. Here Branko Kolarevic , Professor and Chair in Integrated Design at the University of Calgary Faculty of Environmental Design, alerts us to the dangers of overlooking materials' shifting capacities, which are so often scale dependent, while also disregarding existing materials in favour of the new or novel. As the potential grows for material systems in buildings to become more adaptive and to harness automation, Kolarevic describes some exciting developments that are taking place in dynamic facade design, providing the much-heralded promise of an efficient use of ambient energy.     

luther's thesenportal: a case study of a “ritual-architectural event”

ABSTRACT

This article is part of a larger field-based study of contemporary festivity and religious tourism in Lutherland, a geographic and symbolic place associated with the life and work of Martin Luther. My aim, with reference to the work of Lindsay Jones and Victor Turner, is to develop an approach for studying the intersection of material culture and ritual. Material culture does not simply signify into empty space, shining meanings into its surrounding environment as a street lamp does light. Rather, material culture is produced, handled, used in a variety of ways. An exemplary case for studying how built space and ritual performance intersect is the Thesenportal of Wittenberg's Schlosskirche, an object and performative space commemorating the origin of the German Reformation.     

Correction to Stolorow (2006).

Reports an error in "Heidegger's investigative method in Being and Time" by Robert D. Stolorow (Psychoanalytic Psychology, 2006 Sum, Vol 23[3], 594-602). The sentence on p. 599 should read as follows: "Heidegger makes crystal clear that by Being-in he does not mean a categorial relationship in which one present-at-hand entity is spatially contained inside another present-at-hand entity." (The following abstract of the original article appeared in record 2006-09622-011.) This article explores Heidegger's investigative method--which the author sees as a unique blending of phenomenology, hermeneutics, and contextualism--and its relationship to its subject matter, the meaning of Being. The unity of Heidegger's investigative method and its subject matter is seen to mirror the contextual whole whose basic structure as Being-in-the-world his investigation unveils. Pythagorean Triangles and Musical Proportions

Martin Euser researches the factor and its interesting relations between musical proportions and Pythagorean triangles. The simple scheme is also interesting as a generative set of pairs of numbers. This set looks like a prototype for the generative set of pairs of numbers discussed in a previous article by the author.     

The Pathology of Cryptology—A Current Survey

Abstract

“The Pathology of Cryptology” is the title of a chapter in David Kahn's book The Codebreakers. This chapter mainly deals with hidden messages, which amateur scientists claim to have discovered in the works of William Shakespeare and in other literary works. The present article picks up this subject and provides it with a theoretic framework under the name of “para-steganography.” Moreover, further case studies are added to those given by Kahn, including many examples that only became known after the publication of The Codebreakers. These considerations show that a hidden code can be found almost anywhere, provided that one looks for it in a suitable manner.     

Hermon Wilkes Martin (1892–1997).

Memorializes Hermon Wilkes Martin, a pioneer of psychology in the South. Martin taught at Emory University for 40 yrs and led the formation of the Georgia Psychological Association. He was instrumental in the move to license psychologists and shepherded the inaugural bill to create the Georgia State Board of Examiners in Psychology through the state legislature in 1951.
