A novel electrochemical method using a wire beam electrode was developed to investigate self-repairing ability of temporarily protective oil coating. Results showed that inhibited oil coatings had the ability of self-repairing, and oil-soluble inhibitors had direct effect on the self-repairing ability of oil coating. The degradation processes that were related to the underfilm corrosion of oil coating could also be realized by investigating the self-repairing ability of oil coating. 相似文献

Developing novel oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalysts is vital for water splitting. Here, carbon black (CB) and nickel carbonyl powder (NCP) are used as components, and the nonionic surfactant polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) is used as a shape-controlled capping agent to easily prepare layered double (Ni, Fe) hydroxide (NiFe-LDH) electrodes. Scanning electron microscopy observation and X-ray photoelectron spectra analysis show that the Fe2+-doped layered double hydroxide is grown in situ on nickel foam (NF). CB (XC-72) and NCP further improve the electrical conductivity. At 10 mA?cm?2, the overpotentials of the OER and HER are 203 mV and 83 mV, respectively, in 1 M KOH. Only 1.48 V is needed when both electrodes are applied for water splitting, and it has a stability of more than 100 h. This work can be used as a medium to elevate the OER and HER performance of NiFe-LDH-based catalysts. 相似文献

The center of excellence (COE) titled ‘The Creation of Nature-Guided Materials Processing’ has been established in Nagoya University as the 21st Century COE Program supported by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. In the Nature COE, various activities on the education and research are being performed through learning the laws of nature, namely, methods of attaining ‘appearance of the maximum function under the minimum substance and energy consumption’, which the nature and living organisms have acquired through their evolution in long period. Together with such educational programs for PhD students as research incentive, oversea training, and external evaluation programs, an ‘Open-Cluster Program’ was originated for promoting researches proposed by research groups consisting of young researchers in and out of the university and also for fostering them.The researches are being advanced on materials used for living bodies, mimicking structures which nature or living bodies are forming, and producing materials by mimicking processes to form the structures observed in the nature or the living bodies. In this COE, these researches are conducted by four groups to extend the processes observed in the natural world to a new type of processing, that is, thoroughly examined and rationalized by plunging a scalpel of engineering and to establish a new academic field of materials science and engineering. 相似文献

In this paper we propose an area-efficient self-repairing adder that can repair multiple faults and identify the particular faulty full adder. Fault detection and recovery has been carried out using self-checking full adders that can diagnose the fault based on internal functionality, independent of a fault propagated through carry. The idea was motivated by the common design problem of fault propagation due to carry in various approaches by self-checking adders. Such a fault can create problems in detecting the particular faulty full adder, and we need to replace the entire adder when an error is detected. We apply our self-checking full adder to a carry-select adder (CSeA) and show that the resulting self-checking CSeA consumes 15% less area compared to the previously proposed self-checking CSeA approach without fault localization. After observing fault localization with reduced area overhead, we utilize the self-checking full adder in constructing a self-repairing adder. It has been observed that our proposed self-repairing 16-bit adder can handle up to four faults effectively, with an 80% probability of error recovery compared to triple modular redundancy, which can handle only a single fault at a time. 相似文献

纳米铜润滑油添加剂减摩抗磨及自修复性能 总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
利用透射电子显微镜与电子衍射观察由二烷基二硫代磷酸原位修饰合成的铜纳米微粒的形貌和结构。在四球机上考察其作为基础润滑油添加剂的抗磨减摩性能,在环块机上考察其作为润滑油添加剂的自修复性能。结果表明,铜纳米添加剂具有良好的抗磨减摩和自修复性能。利用扫描电子显微镜观察滑块表面的磨痕形貌,利用电子天平对滑块自修复前后的质量进行称量比较,利用X射线光电子能谱仪对自修复膜表面的元素组成和化学价态进行分析,发现在300N的负荷下,纳米铜的添加量为4%时修复效果最好,试块经4h修复后滑块质量增加0.5mg,磨斑直径和摩擦因数呈现明显下降的趋势。摩擦过程中铜纳米微粒在摩擦表面形成沉积膜,这种沉积膜与表面修饰层形成的摩擦化学反应膜产生协同作用,从而表现出优良的抗磨自修复性能。 相似文献

point where faulty nodes can be eliminated has been investigated. This paper further studies the dynamics of eradicating faulty
nodes by comparing the self-repairing network with mathematical epidemic models such as SIS models. It is shown that the self-repairing
network, which is a probabilistic cellular automaton, can be regarded as an epidemic model in some restricted situations.
