现代民间青花与现代陶艺都是火与土的艺术，都具有粗犷，质朴、自然、大方的共同艺术特点。前者在传统民间青花的基础上，汲取了现代陶瓷科技成就和现代文化艺术成果，而发展成为富有现代艺术意蕴和现代审判内涵的新型民间青花艺术；而后者则是从传统陶艺延伸、扩展、蜕变为纯粹艺术表达和具有独特审判内涵的一门现代艺术。     

建筑制图标准中图形符号适宜性、区分性的研究

应用线段长短、间距大小视觉反应的量化规律，提出设计图形符号大小的原则——既更使其大小满足“长”“短”“大”“小”的心理要求，又要互相之间在大小上有区分性。根据图形组织的相似、接近、连续三原则提出设计图形符号形状的原则——图形符号之间尽量减少相似、接近、连续，以保证较好的区分性。通过分析发现，现行建筑制图标准中的图形符号绝大部分在大小和形状具有适宜性、区分性。     

居住建筑设计的点滴体会

根据石河子的地理位置、自然环境和居住建筑发展的历史,为当地设计了功能较全,布局合理,实用性强的住宅楼。通过设计实践对住宅设计提出了一些看法。

Sky blue,but what blue? A new evaluation of the colors of the sky for artists and designers

This study describes a process of relating the perceptual analysis of the colors of the terrestrial atmosphere to currently available pigments used in artists' painting systems. This process sought to discover how the colors of the sky could be defined and simulated by these pigments. The author also describes how confusion over the bewildering choice of suitable pigments on offer in the market place can be clarified. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Artistic Surface Rendering Using Layout of Text

An artistic rendering method of free-form surfaces with the aid of half-toned text that is laid-out on the given surface is presented. The layout of the text is computed using symbolic composition of the free-form parametric surface  S(u, v)  with cubic or linear Bézier curve segments  C(t) = {c_u (t), c_v (t)}  , comprising the outline of the text symbols. Once the layout is constructed on the surface, a shading process is applied to the text, affecting the width of the symbols as well as their color, according to some shader function. The shader function depends on the surface orientation and the view direction as well as the color and the direction or position of the light source.
