A motivational model of rural students' intentions to persist in, versus drop out of, high school.

Using self-determination theory, the authors tested a motivational model to explain the conditions under which rural students formulate their intentions to persist in, versus drop out of, high school. The model argues that motivational variables underlie students' intentions to drop out and that students' motivation can be either supported in the classroom by autonomy-supportive teachers or frustrated by controlling teachers. LISREL analyses of questionnaire data from 483 rural high school students showed that the provision of autonomy support within classrooms predicted students' self-determined motivation and perceived competence. These motivational resources, in turn, predicted students' intentions to persist, versus drop out, and they did so even after controlling for the effect of achievement. Health promotion for women with physical disabilities: A pilot study.

Objective: To pilot test a health promotion intervention for women with physical disabilities. Design: Pre- and postintervention questionnaires. Participants: Two groups of women with physical disabilities (n=15). Intervention: Seven-session weekly workshop intervention grounded primarily in social-cognitive theory. Setting: Disability and rehabilitation settings. Main Outcome Measures: Indicators of health status. Results: Statistically significant positive changes between pre- and postintervention scores on measures of self-efficacy for dietary behaviors, medical decision making, social interaction, physical functioning, impact of physical limitation on role activities, and vitality. Conclusion: Women with disabilities who participate in this health promotion intervention may exhibit improvements on indicators of health status. 学生自主学习能力的形式发展离不开学习方法,学生自主学习方法的掌握并非"无师自通",它有赖于教师悉心的渗透与指导。但是在实际的教学中,往往显得过于形式化,表面化,远远无法达到预期的教学效果。本文结合数学教学的实际分析了当前学生自主学习中存在的一些问题,并提出相关的对策,以期适应教育改革的精神,促进教育的发展。     

A framework for simulating real-time multi-agent systems

In this paper, we describe an implementation of use in demonstrating the effectiveness of architectures for real-time multi-agent systems. The implementation provides a simulation of a simplified RoboCup Search and Rescue environment, with unexpected events, and includes a simulator for both a real-time operating system and a CPU. We present experimental evidence to demonstrate the benefit of the implementation in the context of a particular hybrid architecture for multi-agent systems that allows certain agents to remain fully autonomous, while others are fully controlled by a coordinating agent. In addition, we discuss the value of the implementation for testing any models for the construction of real-time multi-agent systems and include a comparison to related work.

发动机嵌入式传感器自主供电装置

通过热电形式,发动机内部的废热可以为嵌入式传感器提供工作所需要的电能。根据温差发电原理设计了一种能够利用发动机内部存在的温度差为嵌入式传感器供电的装置。它由集热板、隔热层、散热装置以及相应的电源管理电路组成。在负载与发电器件内阻匹配和最低温度差为10℃的条件下,电源管理电路能够将发电器件输出的0.52 V电压转化为5.06 V、4.57 mA的稳定输出。建立了实验模型,且通过实验进行了性能验证。

从分析人的思维活动着手,提出了模拟人类智能活动过程构筑Ｍｕｌｔｉ－Ａｇｅｎｔ系统的方法,并由该方法构造了基于主控流动的多级Ｍｕｌｔｉ－Ａｇｅｎｔ系统。其主要特点是把小 Ｍｕｌｔｉ－Ａｇｅｎｔ系统视为一个特殊的Ａｇｅｎｔ,并由这种特殊的Ａｇｅｎｔ组成更高一级的Ａｇｅｎｔ系统…从而形成多级Ｍｕｌｔｉ－Ａｇｅｎｔ系统,而且在每一级Ａｇｅｎｔ系统中均采用了主控流动策略,使得整个系统能够把巨量的Ａｇｅｎｔ有效地结合起来。系统效率高,能主动改变和适应环境,为设计具体的大规模Ｍｕｌｔｉ－Ａｇｅｎｔ系统提供了一种可行的解决方案。     

一种新的软件Agent设计的评价标准:用户自治性

本文提出了软件Ａｇｅｎｔ设计中的用户自治性标准,我们认为用户自治性是Ａｇｅｎｔ设计中需要考虑的重要方面,探讨了自治性标准在Ａｇｅｎｔ设计中的定义以及Ａｇｅｎｔ如何影响用户自治性,并在此基础上提出了一个新的软件系统模型。
