Metathesis as a versatile tool in oleochemistry

Olefin metathesis, awarded with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2005 for Chauvin, Grubbs and Schrock, has emerged as a powerful tool for organic as well as polymer chemistry. In oleochemistry, this reaction is well known and has been applied for many decades. Examples include the functionalization of the double bonds of different oleochemicals or the (direct) polymerization of plant oils via metathesis. More recent developments, particularly the development of better and more robust catalysts, allow for highly efficient cross‐metathesis reactions opening new possibilities for the direct introduction of chemical functionalities. Within this contribution, the development of metathesis in oleochemistry will be discussed, covering self‐metathesis as well as more recent developments in the field of cross‐metathesis that lead to desired platform chemicals.     

生态城市与水利现代化

对天津及其滨海新区生态城市水利建设进行了分析。研究了在淡水资源极度匮乏的条件下,有效开发利用非常规水资源的必要性、重要性和现实性。认为天津市对水资源应遵循节水、治污、高效配置,妥善处理生活、生产、生态之间的关系,力求平衡调配。供水水源应是多元的,增加非常规水资源(污水、海/咸水、雨/洪水)的利用,同时增加可用地下水,外调来水等,逐步进入可持续发展配置。     

Assessment of the energy and exergy utilization efficiencies in the Turkish agricultural sector

This study deals with evaluating the energy and exergy utilization efficiencies in the Turkish agricultural sector over a 12‐year period from 1990 to 2001. In the energy and exergy analyses, two main energy sources, namely fuels and electricity, are taken into consideration, while the sectoral energy and exergy efficiencies are compared for this period. These main energy sources include diesel for tractors and other vehicles, and electricity for pumps. Overall energy utilization efficiencies are obtained to vary between 29.1 and 41.1%, while overall exergy utilization efficiencies are found to range from 27.9 to 37.4% in the analysed years, respectively. It may be concluded that the present technique proposed here may be used as a useful tool in analysing and evaluating the energy and exergy utilization efficiencies, identifying energy efficiency and/or energy conservation opportunities and dictating the energy strategies of countries. 全文围绕树立和落实科学发展观这一主题 ,研究和探索如何在新时期、新阶段进一步做好国土资源管理工作的新思路、新途径和新方法。提出要进一步加强国土资源宏观管理 ,更好地为甘肃省经济社会的协调、可持续发展提供保障服务。     

隧洞开挖网络进度的优化研究

本文以单项工程为研究对象,以隧洞工程为例,研究了单项工程施工所需用的时间。文中以施工单位所具有的资源,结合施工工作环境、作业空间为约束条件,以费用最小为目标函数,建立了优化模型。由资源的工作性能指标,利用模糊数学原理,对资源间的匹配程度作了定量分析,并进一步推出了不同匹配程度的资源对作业时间的影响的计算式。并从影响各工序完工时间的因素的随机性出发,利用数理统计理论,由各工序的细分活动的规律推出了各工序的完工需用时间的概率表达式,解决了工期与置信度间的关系。最后结合工程实例,求出了一定置信度下,不同资源供应时的最优工期。     

服务器虚拟化带来的信息安全风险以及影响策略

服务器虚拟化大大提高了服务器的资源利用率,对客户来说是十分有利的。但是,也带来了一些诸如破坏正常的网络架构、可能致使系统服务器超载等信息安全风险,需要采取一定的影响策略予以解决。能采取的影响策略有:安装兼容性杀毒软件、不间断地进行服务器硬件的容量分析等。     

Desalination and the commons: tragedy or triumph?

A policy is more likely to be economically efficient when its costs and benefits fall on the same group, but politicians can allocate costs and benefits to different groups within their jurisdictional commons. This article examines the distribution of costs and benefits from desalination projects using examples from San Diego, Almería and Riyadh. The examples illustrate how mismatches between costs and benefits can persist or change as politicians adjust the policy portfolio to balance inefficiency and political risk.     

Security concepts for the dynamics of autonomous vehicle networks

The secure operation of autonomous vehicle networks in the presence of adversarial observation is examined, in the context of a canonical double-integrator-network (DIN) model. Specifically, we study the ability of a sentient adversary to estimate the full network’s state, from noisy local measurements of vehicle motions. Algebraic, spectral, and graphical characterizations are provided, which indicate the critical role of the inter-vehicle communication topology and control scheme in achieving security.
