AbstractAutogenous full penetration electron beam welds were made on alloy 718 with and without beam oscillation technique. Weldments were subjected to two types of post-weld heat treatments: direct aging (DA) and solution treatment at 980°C followed by aging (STA). When the welds were prepared using different heat inputs in the welding processes with and without beam oscillation, the influence of beam oscillation could not be studied in isolation but the coupled effect of heat input and beam oscillation was studied. Laves particles were finer in size and lower in amount in unoscillated welds compared with those in beam oscillated welds subjected to DA condition. δ phase needles were observed around Laves particles in the welds subjected to STA condition. The amount of Laves particles was less and that of δ phase was more in unoscillated welds compared with those in beam oscillated welds subjected to STA condition. Unoscillated weldments exhibited longer fatigue lives compared with beam oscillated weldments in both DA and STA conditions owing to less amount of Laves in the former. Weldments in STA condition had longer lives compared with those in DA condition. The role of δ phase needles in fatigue life could not be identified. 相似文献

AbstractMicrostructural changes upon retrogression, and retrogression and reaging (RRA) treatment to 8090 Al – Li – Cu – Mg – Zr alloy in the peak aged (T8) temper have been studied by XRD and TEM. The variation of hardness with retrogression, and retrogression and reaging (RRA) has been measured to assess RRA behaviour. XRD studies exhibited all the phases that would be expected in the system. Retrogression primarily caused dissolution of matrix strengthening δ' precipitates in the solution. Reaging the retrogressed state caused reprecipitation of the δ' precipitates in the matrix. Retrogression and reaging (RRA) treatments retained the strength of the conventional peak aged temper, but TEM observations revealed some microstructural changes, such as growth of δ', T1 and S' phases, reduction of the dislocation densities, and generation of more dislocation loops and helices. 相似文献

An alternative power-to-methanol process based on an integration of a tubular proton-conducting solid oxide electrolysis cell into a methanol synthesis unit is explained, energetically evaluated and technically presented. Being currently developed in the joint research project DELTA, the novel process has the potential for a significant increase in system efficiency, if the heat from the exothermic synthesis reaction can be utilized and/or kinetic advantages can be achieved.For the experimental proof of the concept and a comprehensive characterization of the process, a test platform is currently under construction. The design of the flexible test facility with the complex technical integration of both processes (electrolysis and synthesis) is described briefly. The chemical reactor, where electrolysis and synthesis are taking place, allows for an operation at temperatures (for electrolysis) up to 700 °C, pressures of 10 MPa and a current (across the electrolysis cell) of up to 100 A. Moreover, a precise pressure balancing system between both gas volumes, an axial temperature measurement and the possibility of regulating both processes inside the pressure vessel are pivotal properties of the test facility. 相似文献

由于传统PLC需要依赖于特定的软硬件,其硬件、软件系统封闭,系统开放性和扩展性不足,并且现场数据传输实时性不高。针对这些问题,提出了一种利用实时以太网EtherCAT协议通讯,基于PC的软PLC运动控制方案。该方案通讯总线采用分布式时钟技术,使用标准以太网协议,无需专用网卡,便能够实现多轴精确同步控制,适合高速机器人的高精度伺服控制。通过在DELTA2高速并联机器人上的测试分析,结果表明:该控制方案使机器人的运动控制性能得到了很大的提升。 相似文献
