We have successfully synthesized multi-layer graphene oxide and graphene oxide based magnetic nanocomposite (M/GO) by microwave-assisted modified Hummers’ method for removal of toxic lead (Pb2+) and cadmium (Cd2+) ions from aqueous solution. The X-ray diffraction spectra of synthesized graphene oxide and M/GO confirm increased interlayer spacing along c-axis. Raman spectra revealed the good quality of synthesized GO and M/GO. The wrinkles were seen in the SEM images of synthesized graphene oxide. The presence of conjugated double bond (CC) and carbonyl (CO) were confirmed by using the UV–Vis spectroscopic spectra. Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) analysis showed high (126 m2/g) surface area M/GO composite which accounts for large number of active binding sites for the adsorption of heavy metal ions. The adsorption studies revealed that Pb2+ ions were efficiently adsorbed on GO sheets. Interestingly, M/GO showed better adsorption for cadmium ions.  相似文献

利用正交实验研究微波辅助萃取鱼香草挥发油的工艺条件。考察了微波辐射时间、微波功率、溶剂用量、洗涤滤饼的溶剂量对提取率的影响。实验结果表明,微波萃取的最佳工艺条件:辐射时间60s,微波功率288w,溶剂用量120ml,洗涤滤饼溶剂量20ml。  相似文献

Copper-decorated carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have important applications as precursors for ultra-conductive copper wires. Tenorite-decorated CNTs (CuO-CNTs) are ideal candidates and are currently developed using laborious processes. For this reason, we have developed a facile and scalable method for the synthesis of CuO-CNTs from copper acetate. It was found that the optimal loading of copper acetate onto the CNTs was 23.1 wt% and that three 1-minute microwave treatments were sufficient for the decomposition of copper acetate to copper oxide. The loading of copper oxide onto the nanotubes was confirmed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. The materials were characterised using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.  相似文献

The phytochemicals content and radical scavenging activity of pistachio (Pistacia vera L.) hull extract obtained by different solvents (water, ethanol, and butanol) were measured and compared. Water was selected as superior solvent. Ultrasound-assisted aqueous extraction of the hull by power ultrasound (35 kHz) was more efficient in ascending the phytochemicals content than the sonochemical ultrasonication (130 kHz). High-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry showed increased amounts of vanillic acid, p-coumaric acid, naringenin, and catechin in ultrasound-assisted extracts. Post-extraction sonication declined significantly the phenolics amount and antioxidant property of the aqueous extract. Microwave-assisted extraction increased the phenolics and flavonoids content at extract in a power-dependent trend.  相似文献

Poly(Tetrasubstituted Aryl Imidazole)s (PTAIs), a new class of poly(heteroaromatic) polymers was prepared via a cascade polycondensation process, under microwave irradiation. These polymers were obtained by the tetrasubstituted aryl imidazole ring formation involving bis(aryl α-diketone)s, bis(arylaldehyde)s, mono(arylamine)s and ammonium acetate. The polymerization performed under microwave irradiation allowed to get high molecular weight PTAIs in very short reaction times. The chemical structure of these PTAIs was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy. Thermogravimetric analyses (TGA) showed a very good grade of thermal stability of these polymers. Glass transition temperatures (Tg) of PTAIs ranging from 155 °C to 265 °C were determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).  相似文献

Insects that feed on plants protected by latex canals often sever leaf veins or cut trenches across leaves before feeding distal to the cuts. The insects thereby depressurize the canals and reduce latex exudation at their prospective feeding site. How the cuts affect the distribution and concentration of latex chemicals was not known. We modified a microwave-assisted extraction technique to analyze the spatial distribution of alkaloids in leaves of Lobelia cardinalis (Campanulaceae) that have been trenched by a plusiine caterpillar, Enigmogramma basigera (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae). We produced sharp two dimensional maps of alkaloid distribution by microwaving leaves to transfer alkaloids to TLC plates that were then sprayed with Dragendorff’s reagent to visualize the alkaloids. The leaf prints were photographed and analyzed with image processing software for quantifying alkaloid levels. A comparison of control and trenched leaves documented that trenching reduces alkaloid levels by approximately 50% both distal and proximal to the trench. The trench becomes greatly enriched in alkaloids due to latex draining from surrounding areas. Measurements of exudation from trenched leaves demonstrate that latex pressures are rapidly restored proximal, but not distal to the trench. Thus, the trench serves not only to drain latex with alkaloids from the caterpillar’s prospective feeding site, but also to isolate this section, thereby preventing an influx of latex from an extensive area that likely extends beyond the leaf. Microwave-assisted extraction of leaves has potential for diverse applications that include visualizing the impact of pathogens, leaf miners, sap-sucking insects, and other herbivores on the distribution and abundance of alkaloids and other important defensive compounds.  相似文献

Four different drying methods, namely, air drying (AD), microwave-assisted vacuum drying (MWVD), coupled microwave–hot air drying (MWAD), and freeze drying (FD), were studied, in terms of drying time, color, reducing sugar content, shrinkage, microstructure, and sensory evaluation. The drying rate of MWVD and MWAD were notably faster than that of AD and FD. The highest reducing sugar content was observed in MWAD, followed by MWVD. No significant differences were observed in reducing sugar between air-dried and freeze-dried products. FD had the best color and shrinkage among the other drying methods. The color and shrinkage of MWVD drying is close to the fresh litchis and much better than hot air and MWAD. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images showed that the MWVD and FD litchis have a porous structure, whereas AD and MWAD litchis have a compact structure. The sensory evaluation suggests that peeled litchis dried by the four studied drying methods are of a quality that is accepted by consumers.  相似文献

The chemistry of imino-1,2,3-dithiazoles possessing a thiophene ring with various alkyl and aromatic diamines was investigated in the expectation of obtaining novel 2,3-condensed thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidinone derivatives. Obtained via Appel's salt's (1) chemistry, methyl N-(4-chloro-5H-1,2,3-dithiazol-5-ylidene)-2-thiophenecarboxylate (2) is confirmed as a very interesting starting material for access to a variety of novel thiophene bioisosters of bioactive pentacyclic tetraaza-pentaphene-5, 8-diones.  相似文献

Tin oxide nanoplatelets (SnO) and nanoparticles (SnO2) were prepared by microwave assisted technique with an operating frequency of 2.45 GHz. This technique permits to produce gram quantity of homogeneous nanoparticles in just 10 min. The crystalline size was evaluated from XRD and found to range from 26 to 34 nm. SEM and TEM analyses showed that the nanoparticles present a platelet-like shaped particle or, a pseudo spherical morphology, after calcination at moderate temperature during which the phase transformation from SnO to SnO2 takes place. Additional FT-IR, density and resistivity measurements were also presented.  相似文献
