Two-step method to deposit ZrO2 coating on carbon fiber: Preparation,characterization, and performance in SiC composites

Recently, ceramic matrix composites reinforced by short carbon fibers (CFs) attracted increasing attentions. To further improve mechanical properties and oxidation resistances, CFs were subjected to oxidation and acidification followed by sol-gel dip-coating to deposit ZrO₂ on their surfaces. ZrO₂-C_f/SiC composites were fabricated by joint hot compression molding and sintering, compared to C_f/SiC and SiC prepared by the same method. Microstructural analyses indicated that ZrO₂ coatings were successfully deposited on CF surfaces, formed strong bonding and interfaces between CF and the matrix. Meanwhile, CFs were found uniformly distributed in SiC matrix with random orientations. Flexural curves of ZrO₂-C_f/SiC and C_f/SiC revealed the presence of “false plasticity” regions after sharp drops, which were quite different from brittle flexural behavior of SiC ceramic. Compression strength of the three samples showed step-up growth. ZrO₂-C_f/SiC exhibited the highest value, indicating the introduction of CFs and ZrO₂ coatings do have great influence on mechanical performances. After heat treatment, ZrO₂-C_f/SiC exhibited better oxidation resistance than C_f/SiC, with weight loss ratios estimated to ??3.76% and ??6.43%, respectively. These improved properties indicated that ZrO₂-C_f/SiC would be excellent alternatives to other existence materials under ultra-high temperature environments.     

原油常减压装置节能技术

由于常减压装置消耗能量约占炼油厂总用能的25％～30％，已成为炼油厂中消耗量最大的装置，因此，我国各炼油厂对常减压装置进行以降低能耗为中心的技术改造就显得十分必要。详细介绍了适用于常减压装置节能的新工艺、新设备以及优化操作。工艺方面主要有采用过滤脱盐新技术对原油进行深度脱盐、采用强化蒸馏新工艺提高原油蒸馏拔出率、优化产出、增产柴油；设备方面主要使用规整填料和新型塔板改善分馏塔分馏效率、使用新型燃烧器提高加热炉效率、使用新型换热器提高热回收率、采用变频技术降低装置电耗；优化操作方面主要有利用计算机进行监控与管理和改善操作条件。最后对国内原油常减压装置节能改造提出了一些建议，以供炼油企业在进行原油常减压装置改造时参考。

研究了一杆阴离子聚合物（Ａｃ５３０）和一种阳离子聚合物（Ｍｂ５８１）在水溶液中形成凝胶的条件和过程、凝胶化学结构、形态、稳定性和力学性能。在模拟地层的二维微观模型内观测了两种聚合物驱替渗流、相逼、形成凝胶、凝胶封堵大孔道的机理。在亲水填砂模型内测定了阴、阳离子聚合物凝胶体系降低渗透率的能力。

A STUDY ON ACIDITY AND CATALYTIC PROPERTY OF [B] ZSM-5 CATALYST MODIFIED WITH SILICON COMPOUND BY CHEMICAL SURFACE DEPOSITION OF LIQUID-PHASE TECHNIQUE

The boron heteroatom zeolite catalyst has been modified with silicon compound by Chemical Surface Deposition of Liquid-phase (CLD) technique and the catalytic property of the modified catalyst is studied. Meanwhile, the acidity of the modified zeolite catalysts is characterized through TPD and IR technique, and the fluid adsorption method is used to determine its pore structure. The relationship between the catalytic property of the zeolite catalyst and its pore structure, its acidity has been found. The results of toluene-ethylene alkylation reaction indicate that the selectivity of p-ethyltoluene on the modified zeolite catalyst is higher than that on the zeolite catalyst before silanizated, reaching 94.14%.     

A model for preventive maintenance operations and forecasting

Equipment costs constitute the greatest majority of overall costs for semiconductor manufacturing. Therefore, maintaining high equipment availability has been regarded as one of the major goals in the industry. The ability to forecast correctly equipment preventive maintenance (PM) timing requirements not only can help optimizing equipment uptime but also minimizing negative impacts on manufacturing production efficiency. This research used grey theory and evaluation diagnosis to construct a PM forecasting model for prediction of PM timing of various machines. The results showed significant improvements of PM timing predictions compared to the existing method based on experience and an alternative method proposed by Li and Chang (Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology Workshop 2002: 10–11, pp. 275–277) for the same fab cases.
