关于P=7的Hardy不等式的一个加强改进

著名的英国数学家Hardy,证明了Hardy不等式对于任意的P存在着最佳常数（pp-1）p.之后,有许多学者对其进行了进一步的研究.近年来也有不少学者给出了P为某个定值时的加强改进.本文将给出P=7时,Hardy不等式的一个加强改进.     

A direct two-dimensional pressure formulation in molecular dynamics

Two-dimensional (2D) pressure field estimation in molecular dynamics (MD) simulations has been done using three-dimensional (3D) pressure field calculations followed by averaging, which is computationally expensive due to 3D convolutions. In this work, we develop a direct 2D pressure field estimation method which is much faster than 3D methods without losing accuracy. The method is validated with MD simulations on two systems: a liquid film and a cylindrical drop of argon suspended in surrounding vapor.

Stability of multiple fans in mine ventilation networks

In large mines, single fan is usually not enough to ventilate all the working areas. Single mine-fan approach cannot be directly applied to multiple-fan networks because the present of multiple pressures and air quantities associated with each fan in the network. Accordingly, each fan in a multiple-fan system has its own mine characteristic curve, or a subsystem curve. Under some consideration, the conventional concept of a mine characteristic curve of a single-fan system can be directly extended to that of a particular fan within a multiple-fan system. In this paper the mutual effect of the fans on each other and their effect on the stability of the ventilation network were investigated by Hardy Cross algorithm combined with a switching-parameters technique. To show the validity and reliability of this algorithm, the stability of the ventilation system of Abu-Tartur Mine (one of the largest underground mine in Egypt) has been studied.

On sub-ideal causal smoothing filters

Smoothing causal linear time-invariant filters are studied for continuous time processes. The paper suggests a family of causal filters with almost exponential damping of the energy on the higher frequencies. These filters are sub-ideal meaning that a faster decay of the frequency response would lead to the loss of causality.
