In submerged cultures performed in chemically defined fermentation medium containing glucose and glutamate, the growth and production of water‐soluble red pigments and citrinin by the filamentous fungus Monascus ruber were studied under various carbon/nitrogen (C/N) ratios. The specific production of the red pigments was optimal at a glucose/glutamate ratio of about 10 and then steadily decreased at higher C/N ratio. In contrast, the production of the mycotoxin increased with increased C/N with an optimum in the range of 30–45. In a fed‐batch mode, it was also found that the production of pigments was not favoured in fed‐batch mode by feeding the medium with glucose while keeping the C/N ratio lower than 10. This low production likely resulted from concurrent high accumulation of L‐malic acid that was reported to inhibit this production. In contrast, this mode of cultivation was rather favourable for the production of the mycotoxin.  相似文献

The possibilities of using monascus to colour gels were studied by comparing it with cochineal. Gels were prepared with four gelling agents—carrageenan, gellan, gelatine and xanthan—and their colour was measured with a Hunter Lab colorimeter. The equations relating L* and h with the concentrations of sugar [SU] and colorant [COL] were deduced, and it was found that [COL] had more influence on colour than [SU]. In general, for these four gelling agents the colour of monascus gels is orange-red and the colour of cochineal gels is purplish red. The gels made with xanthan were always the lightest, whether they were made with cochineal or with monascus.  相似文献

Extraction of Anthocyanin Pigments from Purple Sunflower Hulls   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The anthocyanin pigments in hulls of purple sunflower seeds were extracted using three solvent systems, 50:1:49 ethanol-acetic acid-water (EAW), 0.01M acetic acid (AAc), or water containing SO2. Solvent, extraction time, size of ground hulls, pH of extracting solvent, hulls/solvent ratio, and concentration of SO2 in water, were investigated. All were significant factors affecting yield of extracted anthocyanins. EAW and SO2 were more effective extractants than AAc. Optimum conditions from response surface optimization for the extraction with sulphurous water were: SO2 at 200 mg/L, hull size 20 mesh, extraction time 5 min at 22°C, and solvent/hulls ratio = 20.  相似文献

采用化学共沉淀法作为钴蓝颜料的制备方法,探讨了主要工艺因素对制备钴蓝颜料性能的影响,对制备的样品进行了测试与表征。结果表明:Co2+和Al3+物质的量比为1∶2.5时,制备的钴蓝样品颜色饱和度与明度最高,沉淀剂为尿素时制得的样品的粒度最小,粒度分布比较均匀。前驱体的洗涤过程采取水洗加醇洗的方法可有效减少样品的硬团聚现象,且前驱体的最佳煅烧温度为950℃左右。  相似文献

A screening procedure utilizing boysenberry juice as a substrate, which combined HPLC and spectrophotometric analyses, was used to measure β-glucosidase activity of enzyme preparations used for juice processing. Enzyme preparations (n = 26) were evaluated at two dosage rates. At the mean recommended dosage, one preparation produced a decrease in total monomeric anthocyanin and cyanidin-3-glucoside, relative to a control, indicating β-glucosidase activity. At 0.1% dosage, 4 enzymes produced a significant decrease in cyanidin-3-sophoroside and 2 enzymes caused an increase in cyanidin-3-rutinoside, indicating β-1,2-glucosidase activity. Such activity in juice processing enzymes was much lower and less prevalent than found previously for β-galactosidase. Botrytis cinerea also degraded anthocyanins in boysenberry juice.  相似文献

This study describes a process of relating the perceptual analysis of the colors of the terrestrial atmosphere to currently available pigments used in artists' painting systems. This process sought to discover how the colors of the sky could be defined and simulated by these pigments. 使用紫外-可见分光光度计测得了黄、蓝、橙、紫4种颜料的紫外吸收图谱;在模型化的丝印油墨配方中改变光引发剂的种类,运用指压法和指抠法研究了多种光引发剂对含有这4种颜料的UV油墨的引发速度的影响。结果表明不同颜色的颜料对紫外光的吸收区域和吸收强度是不同的。对于黄色油墨,907的引发效果最佳;对于蓝色油墨,907+ITX+EDAB和910+ITX+EDAB都具有很高的引发速度;而对于橙色油墨和紫色油墨,907+ITX+EDAB则是速度最高的引发剂组合。  相似文献

The anticorrosive performance of two inhibitive pigments, zinc chromate and zinc phosphate, was compared using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and the scanning vibrating electrode technique (SVET) in pigment extracts in 0.1 M NaCl. It was observed that zinc was protected from corrosion in both extracts. In tests using hot dip galvanised steel painted with an epoxy primer incorporating the pigments, the SVET detected the anodic and cathodic distribution along the scribes, although no significant differences were observed among the various primers. On the contrary, EIS was able to distinguish processes occurring on the metal surface exposed by the scribe in different samples. For primers with anticorrosive pigment, a time constant at high frequencies was attributed to a layer of protective nature, probably formed by metal ions from the substrate and inhibitive ions leached from the anticorrosive pigments.  相似文献
