The freeze-dried sprouts’ juice of Raphanus sativus (L.) cv. Sango was prepared and analysed for the first time. HPLC analysis of total isothiocyanates, after protein displacement, resulted in 77.8 ± 3.0 μmol/g of dry juice while GC–MS analysis of hexane and acetone extracts showed E- and Z-raphasatin (8.9 and 0.11 μmol/g, respectively) and sulforaphene (11.7 μmol/g), summing up to 20.7 ± 1.7 μmol/g of free isothiocyanates. Sprouts’ juice contained an unprecedented wealth of anthocyanins and a new fractionation methodology allowed us to isolate 34 mg/g of acylated anthocyanins (28.3 ± 1.9 μmol/g), belonging selectively to the cyanidin family. Analysis was performed by HPLC–PDA–ESI–MSn and extended to deacylated anthocyanins and aglycones, obtained, respectively, by alkaline and acid hydrolysis. This study identified 70 anthocyanins, 19 of which have never been described before and 32 of which are reported here in R. sativus for the first time. Sango radish sprouts are exceptional dietary sources of heath-promoting micronutrients.  相似文献

Optimisation of the germination process of different cultivars of broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica cv. Lucky, cv. Tiburon and cv. Belstar) and radish (Raphanus sativus cv. Rebel and cv. Bolide) seeds in relation to the content of glucosinolates (GLS), vitamin C and total antioxidant capacity was carried out in order to maximise the health-promoting properties of Brassica sprouts. The content of total and individual GLS varied between species, among cultivars, and germination time. Glucoraphanin in broccoli and glucoraphenin in radish were the predominant GLS in raw seeds (61–77 and 63–129 μmol/g DM, respectively) and, although their content decreased during germination, they were maintained in rather large proportions in sprouts. Vitamin C was not detected in raw seeds and its content increased sharply in broccoli and radish sprouts (162–350 and 84–113 mg/100 g DM, respectively). Raw brassica seeds are an excellent source of antioxidant capacity (64–90 and 103–162 μmol Trolox/g DM in broccoli and radish, respectively) and germination led to a sharp increase. Germination of broccoli cv. Belstar and radish cv. Rebel for 4 days provided the largest glucoraphanin and glucoraphenin content, respectively, and also brought about large amounts of vitamin C and antioxidant capacity.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to determine the efficacy of electrolyzed oxidizing (EO) water in reducing natural microbiota on radish seed and sprout during seed soaking and sprouting. EO water with different available chlorine concentrations (ACC, 15, 20, 28, 33 and 40 mg/L) and different pH (2.5, 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5) were used to soak radish seeds for 12 h and the surviving population of total aerobic bacteria, yeast and mold, and germination rate were determined. On the other hand, EO water with ACC of 30 and 50 mg/L was applied to spray sprouts during seed sprouting and the antimicrobial efficacy of EO water, as well as length, gross weight and dry weight of sprout were evaluated. The results showed that the population of natural microbiota decreased with increasing ACC of EO water, while no significant difference was observed among EO waters with different pH levels that were applied while soaking the seeds. EO water with higher ACC and lower pH slightly reduced the germination percentage of radish seed during seed soaking. EO waters with ACC of 30 and 50 mg/L sprayed during seed sprouting resulted in 1.39 and 1.58 log reductions of total aerobic bacteria, yeast and mold, respectively, and improved the length, gross weight and dry weight of the sprouts. Therefore, EO water with low ACC and near neutral pH could be used to soak seeds and water sprouts throughout seed germination and sprouting to control the population of natural microbiota on seeds and sprouts.  相似文献

An experimental investigation to measure the evaporation rates, PSZ-coated engine performance and emissions of radish biodiesel (Methyl Ester of radish oil) and its blends in different volumetric proportions with diesel is presented. The thermo-physical properties of all the fuel blends have been measured and presented. Evaporation rates of neat radish biodiesel, neat diesel and their bends have been measured under slow convective environment of air velocity of 0.2?m/s with a constant temperature of 200°C. Evaporation constants have been determined by using the droplet regression rate data. The neat fuels and fuel blends have been utilised in a test engine with different load conditions to evaluate the performance and emission characteristics of the fuels. From the observed evaporation, performance and emissions characteristics, it can be suggested that a blend of B25–B75 could be optimally used in coated diesel engine settings without any modifications on it.  相似文献

研究了整粒浸泡酶解、种子粉碎酶解、种子粉碎3种预处理方法对提取的萝卜籽油中多种指标的影响。结果表明,整粒浸泡酶解预处理方法提取的油脂中异硫氰酸酯、莱菔素含量高,总抗氧化能力、清除DPPH·能力强,种子粉碎酶解法次之,种子粉碎法最差;种子粉碎预处理法的油脂中酸价和过氧化值含量最高,种子粉碎酶解法次之,整粒浸泡酶解法最低;3种预处理方法对油脂脂肪酸组成变化不显著。整粒浸泡酶解法提取油脂的条件为:整粒种子25℃浸泡1 h,破碎后25℃酶解50 min,酶解p H5.0,液料比20 m L/g,提取时间5 min;萝卜籽油的提取率为34.51%,提取效率为95.03%。  相似文献

Microgreens are new and emerging products, which are young seedlings of vegetables and herbs. A recent study showed that microgreens contain higher nutrients compared to their mature counterparts. However, they typically have a short shelf life (1–2 days) at ambient temperature. The objective of this study was to optimize postharvest handling conditions to reduce the quality loss and extend the shelf life of daikon radish (Raphanus sativus L. var. longipinnatus) microgreens. Storage temperature, packaging film, and wash treatment were investigated. Changes in headspace composition, quality index, chlorophyll concentration, tissue electrolyte leakage, and aerobic mesophilic bacteria (AMB) and yeast & mold (Y&M) counts were monitored periodically during storage. Results indicated that (1) storage temperature significantly (P < 0.05) affected package atmosphere, product quality and shelf life. One degree Celsius was the optimal temperature for storage of radish microgreens with no chilling injury observed; (2) film oxygen transmission rate (OTR) significantly (P < 0.05) affected O2 and CO2 composition, but OTR did not significantly affect quality attributes during 28 days of storage at 1 °C; (3) Chlorine wash treatment (100 mg/L) significantly reduced initial microbial populations by 0.5 log cfu g−1, including AMB and Y& M. 本文研究了白萝卜采用不同涂膜处理在常温下贮藏保鲜效果,探讨了萝卜贮藏过程中主要生理生化变化研究了萝卜糠心程度与含水量、呼吸强度及容重的关系。结果表明:在常温条件下,经过3个月的贮藏,海藻酸钠涂膜保鲜萝卜腐烂率最低,为40%:魔芋精粉涂膜萝卜糠心率最低,为44.3%。萝卜糠心程度与萝卜含水量、容重及呼吸强度呈极显著相关。  相似文献

The objective of this study was to determine the in vitro inhibition effects of seven commonly used pesticides including 2,4-d-acid dimethylamine, fenoxaprop-p-ethyl, glyphosate isopropylamine, haloxyfop-p-methyl, cypermethrin, λ-cyhalothrin, and dichlorvos on the peroxidase purified from turnip (Brassica rapa L.) and black radish (Raphanus sativus L.) using 4-amino benzohydrazide affinity column chromatography. The purification factors for the turnip and black radish peroxidases were found to be 263.29-fold (with a yield of 12.89%) and 36.20-fold (with a yield of 6.90%), respectively. Among these compounds, λ-cyhalothrin showed the strongest inhibitory effect against turnip peroxidase (Ki: 1.23 × 10?2 ± 0.21 × 10?2 mM) as noncompetitive inhibition. On the other hand, cypermethrin demonstrated the highest inhibition effect against black radish peroxidase (Ki: 2.14 × 10?2 ± 0.08 × 10?2 mM) as competitive inhibition.  相似文献

A rapid, specific and sensitive multiresidue method based on the modified Quick Easy Cheap Effective Rugged and Safe (QuEChERS) sample preparation method and gas chromatography with the electron impact mass spectrometric detection in the selected ion monitoring mode (GC–MS-SIM) using one target and two qualifier ions for the routine analysis of 107 pesticides in cabbage and radish has been developed. The recoveries for all the pesticides studied were from 80% to 115% with relative standard deviation lower than 15% in the concentration range of 0.030–0.360 mg/kg. The limit of quantitation (LOQ) for most compounds met MRLs for pesticides in cabbage and radish in Korea. This method was successfully applied to analysis commercial cabbage and radish samples.  相似文献
