Pitch-coke interactions

Penetration of molten pitch into a coke bed is correlated with thermodynamic properties of pitch and of pitch-coke interfaces, as well as with the rheology of the liquid. A review of the possible relation between the above properties and the molecular properties of the pitch is presented.     

Moderators of nonverbal indicators of deception: A meta-analytic synthesis.

In many legal proceedings, fact finders scrutinize the demeanor of a defendant or witness, particularly his or her nonverbal behavior, for indicators of deception. This meta-analysis investigated directly observable nonverbal correlates of deception as a function of different moderator variables. Although lay people and professionals alike assume that many nonverbal behaviors are displayed more frequently while lying, of 11 different behaviors observable in the head and body area, only 3 were reliably associated with deception. Nodding, foot and leg movements, and hand movements were negatively related to deception in the overall analyses weighted by sample size. Most people assume that nonverbal behaviors increase while lying; however, these behaviors decreased, whereas others showed no change. There was no evidence that people avoid eye contact while lying, although around the world, gaze aversion is deemed the most important signal of deception. Most effect sizes were found to be heterogeneous. Analyses of moderator variables revealed that many of the observed relationships varied as a function of content, motivation, preparation, sanctioning of the lie, experimental design, and operationalization. Existing theories cannot readily account for the heterogeneity in findings. Thus, practitioners are cautioned against using these indicators in assessing the truthfulness of oral reports. 论滚齿加工在机测量技术

本文论述了滚齿在机测量中一些重要问题．应用偏心误差理论，揭示了以齿轮的齿顶、齿根和内孔为测量基准的测量齿距误差的实质，并对这三种基准进行了对比分析．指出了不同测量基准所测结果不同，若基准选择不当，有时产生“误收”或“误废”．论文针对当前滚齿在机测量装置存在问题．提出了一种滚齿在机１８０°转位双啮综合测量法，测量原理正确，结构简单，易于推广．     

A study on UV-curable coatings for HD-DVD: Primer and top coats

This study relates to the development of coatings for optical discs in high-density digital versatile disc systems (HD-DVD or blue lay disk) that use a high numerical aperture of 0.85 at 405 nm wavelength and have a protective top layer over a primer layer for protection against damage and dust. Ultraviolet-curable raw materials of two acrylic monofunctional monomers ( isobornylacrylate, IBA and tetrahydrofurfurylacrylate, THFA) and two kinds of urethaneacrylate oligomers (OUMD and OUME) have been easily mixed with photoinitiators. Curing rate of these materials was characterized by FT-IR. In case of top coats, VTES (vinyltriethoxysilane) and acrylic acid were added to enhance the abrasion resistance. These two kinds of UV-curable resinous materials having no solvent were synthesized and investigated as means for making a blue ray disk having good optical and mechanical properties. In addition, dynamic characteristics including reflectivity, fluctuation of RF signal and noise level were also investigated.     

交联剂在碳／碳复合材料沥青基体中的作用

本文从C/C复合合材料的基体入手，分析了交联剂在沥青中的交联机理，并以此为基础对中温煤沥青在催化剂作用下进行交联反应。结果表明，交联剂在C/C复合材料基体中的交联作用非常明显，不仅基体本身的残碳率及耐热程度有很大提高，而且，以它制成的C/C复合材料的抗压强度也有显著增加。     

国内外改质沥青生产的现状及其发展

煤焦油沥青是炼铝及碳素工业的重要原料之一，它地质量如何直接影响到制品的技术经济指标。近年来，随着科学技术的发展，煤焦油沥青重整改质技术引起重视。目前已有许多国家已生产出改质沥青来满足制取电炉炼钢超高功率电极以及制品铝电解板的要求证同国内对此也开始进行研制工作。介绍了国内外改质沥青生产的现状及发展，并提出了参考建议。

基于胆甾相液晶的特殊分子结构，综合阐述了胆甾相液晶的旋光性、选择性光散射和偏振光二色性等光学特性，揭示了它的光学特性主要源于它螺旋状的分子结构及其光学各相异性。     

大孔距小排距的孔网参数在中深孔爆破中的应用

天铁集团的石矿厂多年来爆破效果不理想，粉矿率高，通过对爆破孔网参数的优化，采用大孔距、小排距的孔网参数在中深孔爆破中取得了较好的效果。
