本文应用常规的守恒方程及湍流模型,对二维池内热分层流动建立了数学模型,并在Patankar的压力校正法基础上对该数学模型进行了数值计算,计算中的差分格式为乘方格式、一阶迎风、二阶迎风和QUICK。通过与实验的比较分析,建议计算应采用QUICK格式,并在进行风格独立性试验的基础上使用加密网络。 相似文献

Density stratified flow with both the vertical temperature gradient and the verti-cal salinity gradient is simulated numerically, in which turbulent terms are calculated by a sim-plified turbulence stress/flux algebraic model. The feature of stratification and turbulence is de-scribed correctly by the model. A common injector geometry upstream of a static mixer is the centerline injector. A flow instability can arise due to viscosity differences between the injected core‐flow and the outer co‐flow. This instability can adversely affect the effectiveness of the mixing operation. An experimental investigation of miscible viscosity‐stratified flow in a circular geometry was performed using Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) and Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). The experimental results for the stable region agree with the analytical results. The unstable region exhibits different modes depending on the viscosity ratio, volume flux ratio, and Reynolds number. The modes include wavy core‐flow with fissures and wavy core‐flow with core breakup. The time‐averaged experiment velocity profiles for the unstable core indicate a broadening of the jet at the centerline, which is consistent with the LIF visualization. 相似文献

A stratified rock mass model was founded by FLAC3D. The failure mode and anisotropic characteristic of strength for stratified rock mass were analyzed. The analysis results
show that the numerical simulation can visually reflect the failure modes of rock samples under different inclination angles
β of structural plane. The stiffness of rock sample before peak strength changes in the compressive procedure. With the increase
of β, the compressive strength σ
c of rock sample decreases firstly and then increases; when β is in the range of 20°–30° and 80°–90°, σ

On the numerical simulation of active scalar, a new explicit algebraic expression on active scalar flux was derived based
on Wikstr?m, Wallin and Johansson model (a
WWJ
model). Reynolds stress algebraic expressions were added by a term to account for the buoyancy effect. The new explicit Reynolds
stress and active scalar flux model was then established. Governing equations of this model were solved by finite volume method
with unstructured grids. The thermal shear stratified cylinder wake flow was computed by this new model. The computational
results are in good agreement with laboratorial measurements. This work is the development on modeling of explicit algebraic
Reynolds stress and scalar flux, and is also a further modification of the a
WWJ
model for complex situations such as a shear stratified flow.
