A molecular level mechanism is proposed for the highly selective 14-e– oxidative transformation ofn-butane to maleic anhydride on the surface of vanadyl pyrophosphate. The mechanism suggests that the dimeric active sites assume at any given time, one of four possible interconvertible states which differ from each other in the number of available oxygen atoms and the formal oxidation states of the individual vanadium atoms. The relative ratios of active sites in each of the four possible states are dictated by the reaction conditions, the redox properties of the reacting gases and the structure of the vanadyl pyrophosphate active surface. A crucial feature of the mechanism is a pseudo-ozonide surface species formed by the interaction of a chemisorbed dioxygen molecule and an adjacent metal-oxo group. This unusual species is responsible for the initial activation of then-butane, which occurs when the chemisorbed dioxygen abstracts an H-atom from the alkane and the adjacent metal-oxo group reacts with the incipient alkyl radical to form an alkoxy group. The proposed mechanism is entirely consistent with literature reports describing the behaviour of (VO)2P2O7 in flow, pulse and TAP reactors. 相似文献

随着国际上天文项目的发展与推进,天文数据呈爆炸式增长。如何从浩瀚如海的大数据集中快速检索所需信息,已成为各国科研人员共同面对的问题。虚拟天文台(Virtual Observatory,VO)为满足对大规模天文数据进行处理分析、检索访问和共享发布等需求,提供了一系列 VO 标准协议和集成化服务。开发符合 VO 标准协议的天文数据发布与检索系统、集成数据访问发布和可视化分析服务,符合当前的发展趋势。本文在回顾 VO发展历程的基础上,对 VO 体系结构、VO 标准协议等若干关键技术进行概括阐述。同时,基于 VO的技术框架,提出硬 X 射线调制望远镜(Hard X-ray ModulationTelescope,HXMT)卫星数据发布与检索系统的初步设想,设计符合卫星任务需求的体系结构,并选取相关的 VO 标准协议加以实现。 相似文献

Heterostructure engineering is one of the most promising modification strategies for reinforcing Na+ storage of transition metal sulfides. Herein, based on the spontaneous hydrolysis-oxidation coupling reaction of transition metal sulfides in aqueous media, a VOx layer is induced and formed on the surface of VS2, realizing tight combination of VS2 and VOx at the nanoscale and constructing homologous VS2/VOx heterostructure. Benefiting from the built-in electric field at the heterointerfaces, high chemical stability of VOx, and high electrical conductivity of VS2, the obtained VS2/VOx electrode exhibits superior cycling stability and rate properties. In particular, the VS2/VOx anode shows a high capacity of 878.2 mAh g−1 after 200 cycles at 0.2 A g−1. It also exhibits long cycling life (721.6 mAh g−1 capacity retained after 1000 cycles at 2 A g−1) and ultrahigh rate property (up to 654.8 mAh g−1 at 10 A g−1). Density functional theory calculations show that the formation of heterostructures reduces the activation energy for Na+ migration and increases the electrical conductivity of the material, which accelerates the ion/electron transfer and improves the reaction kinetics of the VS2/VOx electrode. 相似文献

Two surface materials for reducing absorptivity of heat radiation from fires have been investigated. The first is VO2, which is a thermochromic material. When the temperature of a VO2 surface increases over a certain temperature, it switches, ideally, from infrared (IR)‐absorbing to IR‐reflecting. VO2 window coatings are still on a research level, yet to be commercialized. In this study, VO2 powder available on the market was investigated. The thermochromic effect could be identified but was not large enough to significantly improve the fire properties of treated surfaces. Some thoughts concerning how to improve the performance of VO2 are discussed. The second investigated material is indium tin oxide (ITO), which is a so called low‐e coating, which means that it has low emissivity and absorptivity in the IR part of the spectrum. ITO is spectrally selective in the sense that it transmits visible light while reflecting a large fraction of the IR radiation, which is a rare property for surfaces in general but a typical property of thin electrically conducting non‐metallic films. It is shown that the application of ITO to poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) significantly improves its fire properties.
