On the computation of conjugacy classes of Chevalley groups

In this paper an algorithm is presented to determine the number of semisimple conjugacy classes for a given centralizertype for the Chevalley groupsSL _n(q) andSU _n(q). Moreover we give the exact number of regular semisimple classes of this groups and a summary of results on the generic classnumber of exceptional Chevalley groups of adjoint type.The first author acknowledges financial support by a grant of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft     

On extensions of subshifts by finite groups

λ-Graph systems are labelled Bratteli diagrams with shift operations. They present subshifts. Their matrix presentations are called symbolic matrix systems. We define skew products of λ-graph systems and study extensions of subshifts by finite groups. We prove that two canonical symbolic matrix systems are G-strong shift equivalent if and only if their presented subshifts are G-conjugate.     

Relative rotation number for stochastic systems: dynamical and topological applications

We introduce a concept of relative rotation number to unify many different approaches of rotation number in non-linear dynamical systems. We present an ergodic result of existence a.s. for stochastic systems. In higher dimension, we show that the natural idea of projecting into a plane does work well a.s. for any plane (different from deterministic systems where projections may be degenerate). A number of further properties (invariance by homotopy and by conjugacy) and applications are presented.     

接触区域可控的弧齿锥齿轮齿面建模方法

首先建立格里森制螺旋锥齿轮齿面上齿线方向上一个曲线簇的曲线方程,再结合球面渐开线方程,构建表达螺旋锥齿轮齿面的网格状的曲面模型。在此模型的基础上,根据局部共轭原理,对小齿轮进行修齿计算,得到修齿后小齿轮齿面的曲面离散数据,以满足不完全共轭的啮合要求。将数据导入Pro／Engineer建立齿轮模型,并在Pro／Engineer中进行运动仿真对接触区域进行检验。上述方法简化了建模和修齿过程,并能够简便地调整接触点位置。     

基于辫子群的不经意传输协议

分析指出现有辫子群上的不经意传输协议通过辫元的指数形式隐藏接收者的选择信息进而保证其隐私性,辫元指数形式的存在导致该协议计算效率较低。基于辫子群上同时共轭搜索问题和分解问题的难解性,提出了一个N取M不经意传输协议,当M=1时对应协议比现有协议的计算效率更高。     

基于有限变形理论的ANSYS几何非线性算法缺陷分析

基于有限变形理论对ANSYS定义的应变、应力与物体真实应力之间的关系、位形、不平衡力的几何非线性计算等方面进行了详细分析,并针对ANSYS中的杆件单元Link8和平面单元Plane42,通过算例计算结果与理论解的对比,指出了ANSYS几何非线性算法的不足,即在计算过程中没有考虑到应变、应力的共轭关系,只是一种近似的非线性计算。     

On Topological Equivalence of Linear Lows with Applications to Bilinear Control Systems

This paper classifies continuous linear flows using concepts and techniques from topological dynamics. Specifically, the concepts of equivalence and conjugacy are adapted to flows on vector bundles, and the Lyapunov decomposition is characterized using the induced flows on the Grassmann and the flag bundles. These results are then applied to bilinear control systems, for which their behavior in , on the projective space , and on the Grassmannians is characterized. On piecewise smoothness of conjugacy of class P circle homeomorphisms to diffeomorphisms and rotations

We give a characterization of piecewise C ¹ class P-homeomorphism f of the circle with irrational rotation number and finitely many break points which is piecewise C ¹ conjugate to a C ¹-diffeomorphism. The following properties are equivalent:

?(i)?f is conjugate to a C ¹-diffeomorphism of the circle by a piecewise C ¹-homeomorphism. (ii)?The product of jumps of f in the break points contained in a same orbit is trivial. (iii)?f is conjugate to a C ¹-diffeomorphism of the circle by a piecewise linear (PL)-homeomorphism or a piecewise quadratic homeomorphism.

For a PL-homeomorphism f having the property (ii): f is conjugate to a rotation either by a PL-homeomorphism or by a piecewise analytic homeomorphism.     

Smooth moduli-free normal forms of hyperbolic germs of diffeomorphisms

In this paper, we study the smooth classifications of germs of diffeomorphisms near a hyperbolic fixed point based on the smooth moduli-free polynomial normal forms of the corresponding diffeomorphisms and give the following result. On , n ≤ 5, with two kinds of exceptions, any two hyperbolic germs of diffeomorphisms with generic nonlinear parts are at least C ¹ conjugated if and only if their linear parts are similar.
