This study introduces the development of a Web‐based assessment system, the Web‐based Assessment and Test Analyses (WATA) system, and examines its impacts on teacher education. The WATA system is a follow‐on system, which applies the Triple‐A Model (assembling, administering, and appraising). Its functions include (1) an engine for teachers to administer and manage testing, (2) an engine for students to apply tests, and (3) an engine for generating test results and analyses for teachers. Two studies were undertaken to assess the usefulness and potential benefits of the WATA system for teacher education. In the first study, 47 in‐service teachers were asked to assess the functions of the WATA system. The results indicated that they were satisfied with the Triple‐A Model of the WATA system. In the second study, 30 pre‐service teachers were required to use the WATA system during the teacher‐training program. After 4 months of experience in using the WATA system, the pre‐service teachers' perspectives of assessment have been changed significantly. The findings of these two studies might provide some guidance to help those who are interested in the development of Web‐based assessment and intend to infuse information technology into teacher education.  相似文献

Belief in one's ability to change is an important cognitive variable related to treatment gains. This study investigated pretreatment expectancy for anxiety change and early homework compliance in relation to initial and total cognitive change in group cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety. Participants, who met diagnostic criteria for at least 1 anxiety disorder, completed 10 sessions of group CBT. Early homework compliance mediated the relationship between expectancy for anxiety change at baseline and initial change in CBT. In addition, initial cognitive symptom improvement mediated the relationship between homework compliance and posttreatment outcome. These results suggest that expectancy for change is an important cognitive variable that may provide the initial impetus and subsequent momentum for therapeutic involvement and gains. Background

The increasing use of new technologies and virtual communication involving personal computers (PCs), tablets and mobile phones are causing changes in individuals’ daily habits and behavior. We report the case of an individual with social phobia who developed a dependency on communication through virtual environments (i.e., nomophobia), and used a PC as a form of relating to the outside world to reduce stress and to avoid direct social relations. Nomophobia refers to the discomfort or anxiety caused by the non-availability of a mobile phone, PC or any another virtual communication device. Social phobia is described as an anxiety disorder of chronic evolution.

Objective

To study nomophobia as a manifest behavior that might serve as an indication of a possible anxiety disorder.

Methodology

The treatment consisted of the use of medication, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and the application of evaluation tools (interviews, scales, inventories and questionnaires).

Results

The individual responded satisfactorily to medication and CBT treatment, which reduced his time using the PC and increased his exposure to real-life situations.

Conclusion

Nomophobic behavior produces changes in daily habits and can reveal other aspects to be investigated, such as the presence of comorbid mental disorders.  相似文献

目的本研究探讨认知行为治疗对难治性抑郁症的疗效。方法将60例难治性抑郁症患者随即分为2组,研究组采用西酞普兰合并认知行为治疗,对照组仅用西酞普兰治疗,2组作8周持续治疗观察,于入组前及入组后第4、8周末分别用汉密尔顿抑郁量表(HAMA),汉密尔顿焦虑量表(HAMA)进行评定。结果 2组在治疗后第4、8周末HAMD、HAMA总分的差异有统计学意义。结论认知行为治疗对难治性抑郁症有效,并且远期疗效好。  相似文献

The first purpose of this paper is to mathematically analyze the vibration characteristics of four parallel and uniform beams that are joined by a tip body at their free ends. This beam structure is often found in many mechanical structures such as robots, space constructions, and optical pickup actuators in optical disc drives (ODDs). To analyze the vibration characteristics of this beam structure, this paper considers the motions in all six directions that are coupled to each other. Mathematical expansion using the energy conservation law applied to this beam structure yields four characteristic equations, which are related to a pure-axial (PA) vibration, a coupled bending-torsional (CBT) vibration, and two coupled axial-bending (CAB) vibrations. In addition, the correctness of the equations is verified by showing that the natural frequencies from these equations match those from a finite element (FE) analysis.The second purpose of this paper is to contribute to the performance improvement of an optical pickup actuator for ODDs by analyzing key parameters of the characteristic equations. This is one of the few papers that analytically derives solutions for the natural frequencies and modes of optical pickup actuators in all six directions. From the perspective of practical usefulness for the design of optical pickup actuators, this paper describes how to reduce rotation in the two CAB beam vibrations by investigating the relationship between design parameters and rotating properties.  相似文献

Objective: In this study, the authors examined the feasibility and effectiveness of training community therapists to deliver cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for depression. Method: Participants were therapists (n = 12) and clients (n = 116; mean age = 41 years, 63% women) presenting for treatment of depression at a not-for-profit and designated community mental health center for St. Joseph County, Indiana. The training model included a 2-day workshop followed by 1 year of phone consultations. CBT competence ratings from the Cognitive Therapy Scale were obtained prior to training and at 6 and 12 months posttraining. Two different groups of clients, a treatment-as-usual (TAU) group (n = 74) and a CBT group (n = 42), were compared with respect to decrease in symptoms of depression (assessed with the Beck Depression Inventory) and anxiety (assessed with the Beck Anxiety Inventory). Results: Therapists showed significant increases in total scores from pretraining to 6 months posttraining, increases that were maintained at 12 months. The increase in the total score reflected gains on items that specifically measure CBT skills and structure. Although both TAU and CBT resulted in a significant decrease in depressive symptoms, the CBT clients showed significantly greater change than the TAU clients, F(2, 113) = 53.40, p  相似文献

构造最小代价树问题可形式化为图论中Steiner树问题。而Steiner树的求解已经被证明是一个NP-complete问题,不可能在多项式时间求得其精确解,所以出现许多启发式算法:在可接受时间内,得到一棵近似的最优多播树。这些算法一般先指定所有链接边的费用,通过一定方法或规则,找出包含源端和所有目的端的一棵近似最优的多播树。很显然,它们并没有考虑由于路径的共享重叠而引起最小生成树链接边费用的变化。现利用CBT算法思想对变化的费用进行建模并对典型启发式算法作了改进,以适应不断变化了的链路费用。  相似文献

计算机管理教学(CMI)系统的互操作性是当今远程教育研究的重要领域,实现CMI系统互操作性的关键是CMI系统和CBT课件之间的通信机制,提出了基于HACP协议的CMI/CBT通信模型,并分析了模型的工作原理。该模型已在远程教育实践中得到成功应用,有效地解决了基于Web的远程教育系统中的信息跟踪问题。  相似文献
