A mathematical model was developed for the decomposition of halogenated compounds in water and applied for tetrachloroethylene (PCE) in a flow-through photosonolysis reactor. To develop the model, a series of differential equations were formulated based on the principles of conservation of mass and mass action for hypothetical parent and daughter species, which were then solved analytically. The model sensitivity analysis was performed to determine if the model gives intuitive results. In support of the modeling effort, experiments were conducted. In a flow-through bench-scale reactor, simulated groundwater contaminated with PCE was irradiated with ultraviolet light and ultrasound concurrently in the presence of titanium dioxide (TiO2). The model was calibrated against the concentrations of PCE, trichloroethylene, methylene chloride, and chloride ion, obtained from the experiments. The proposition for the rate constants is based on fitting the model result to the experimental data. The model was further verified by comparing the model results against a different set of experimental data. The model results against available data indicated good agreement within experimental variations. The modeling suggests that PCE is more susceptible to the C-C double bond cleavage than the C-Cl bond cleavage. The results also support the assumptions that chlorinated methane compounds can be degraded at higher rates than chlorinated ethylene and that the values of the degradation rate constants increase with a decreasing number of chlorine atoms attached to the hydrocarbon compound.  相似文献

活性渗滤墙是一种现场修复受污染地下水的新型技术,具有原理简单,施工方便,运行费用低廉等特点,活性渗滤墙垂直于地下水流动方向设置,当地下水流通过活性渗滤墙时,污染物与墙体材料发生化学反应,从而达到环境修复的目的。文中综述了活性渗滤墙技术的修复机理和实际应用,大量研究表明,应用金属铁作为活性渗滤墙材料,可以去除地下水中的重金属以及有机污染物,目前活性渗滤墙已经在世界各地应用,是一种非常有发展前景的环境污染修复技术。  相似文献

The degradation of perchloroethylene (PCE) by UV/TiO2 photocatalysis in gas phase was studied. The degradation efficiency has been compared in different continuous flow reactors: a photocatalytic tangential reactor (PTR) where the air flows tangentially over the catalytic medium and two photocatalytic filtering reactors (PFR) where the air flows through the porous catalytic medium. The degradation rate shows a linear dependence with the concentration of pollutants (up to 350 mg PCE/N m3) for the PTR, but the degradation was negligible for the PFR. The degradation rate was enhanced by accelerating the chlorine radicals’ formation (by adding HCl in catalytic quantity in the air flow or by PCE over-heating). In these conditions, the oxidation rate constant of PCE in the PFR was about five times higher than that in the PTR, although the mass of catalyst involved in the PFR was about 10 times lower and the contact time was about a 1000 times shorter than that of the PTR. Thus, the catalyst is globally more efficiently used in the PFR, as the mass transfer is not limiting. As a result, a degradation mechanism of PCE, involving the generation of free chlorine radicals, as the first limiting step, has been confirmed.  相似文献

Laboratory experiments were conducted to investigate the abiotic interactions of soybean oil (SoyOil) and chlorinated ethene (CE) nonaqueous phase liquids (NAPLs). The mixed NAPL density and interfacial tension behaved ideally, as predicted by the volume ratio. The mixed NAPL viscosity increased exponentially from that of the pure CE to that of pure SoyOil as the volume fraction increased. The measured contact angle was highly variable and was unpredictable as a function of the volume composition of the mixed NAPL. The physical property effects indicate that the mobilization of residual CE NAPLs because of SoyOil injection is unlikely. Equilibrium dissolution of CEs from the NAPL mixtures behaved linearly as a function of the mole fraction. Dissolved SoyOil in simulated groundwater enhanced the dissolution of trichloroethene (TCE) during flow tests, increasing the effluent TCE concentration from 141?to?202?mg/L. The ready intermingling of the CE dense nonaqueous phase liquids (DNAPLs) and SoyOil indicate that such interactions may be significant at sites where vegetable oil is injected into DNAPL source areas to enhance in situ anaerobic bioremediation.  相似文献

The granularity of the flexible bandwidth optical network is the spectral slots,which is much smaller than that of the wavelength switch optical network.For the dynamic clients’ connections setup and tear down processes,it will give rise to fragmentation of spectral resources.It is the decline in the probability of finding sufficient contiguous spectrum for new connections that result in the fragmentation of spectral resource.To be more specific,these spectra may be unavailable and waste.In this case,the severe waste of the spectrum will lead to low efficiency in spectral utilization and will not adapt to large capacity requirements of transmission in the future.Because path computation element(PCE) framework has the characteristics of the central disposal and deployment of the spectrum resource,we construct the spectral resource allocation scenario based on PCE framework in the flexible bandwidth optical network to use spectrum resource effectively.Based on the principle of the generation of the fragmentation,we put forward a spectrum resource defragmentation algorithm to consolidate the available spectrum for clients’ connections.The simulation results indicate that this algorithm is able to reduce fragmentation of network,improve the continuity of spectral resource,reduce the blocking rate of services in the network and improve the spectral efficiency significantly.  相似文献

有机太阳能电池(OSCs)的性能与材料及器件结构密切相关。以MoO3为阳极缓冲层,有机金属配合物Re-Bphen为阴极缓冲层,制备了结构为ITO/MoO3/CuPc/C60/Re-Bphen/Al的OSCs。在标准太阳光照条件下,当MoO3和Re-Bphen的厚分别为5nm和8nm时实现了器件的最佳性能,能量转换效率(PCE)和器件寿命均显著提高。结合器件结构,分析了工作机制。  相似文献
