Value chain analysis of bio-coal business in Finland: Perspectives from multiple value chain members

The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive outline of the Value Chain (VC)¹ of bio-coal in Finland, define the proper business models of bio-coal business, and investigate the interrelationships between VC activities. The major findings are: 1) the study found significant interrelationships between support and primary activities in the bio-coal VC which suggest that we should not emphasis only the core value/primary activities of the bio-coal business, but pay more attentions to the “side values”/support activities; 2) The study identified political and environmental factors as the effective drivers, while technology and cost-profit uncertainty as major restrictions for the Finnish bio-coal business. The authors would like to suggest that instead of purely “environmental concerns”, the term “sustainability credentials” should be emphasized, which means value creating and adding items should not limit to monetary values, but consider social and environmental value propositions. 3) The study identified “low competition” in the current bio-coal business in Finland, which implies opportunities of market entrance for Finnish and international companies; 4) The study identified that the current Finnish bio-coal model is the decentralized model at the local level. However, the future Finnish bio-coal model will be a large scaled model, with a focus on export sales.

An introduction to psychologists treating medically ill patients: Competent practice and seeking credentials in organized health care settings for routine or incidental practice.

Psychology has been recognized as a health care science and profession, and psychologists have been working clinically with medically ill patients and within organized health care settings and hospitals for decades. The potentially daunting environment of organized health care should be seen by psychology as an opportunity to further develop and expand its scope of practice. With knowledge of that environment's rules, regulations, ethics, bylaws, and traditions, the clinically competent psychologist who is first seeking to practice in hospitals should succeed alongside psychologists with busy practices who are already exclusively or occasionally within an organized health care setting or medical facility. This article reviews issues of competency, credentialing, privileges, bylaws, and practice expansion to guide psychologists toward a successful hospital practice with medically ill patients. Vicarious moral licensing: The influence of others' past moral actions on moral behavior.

This article investigates the effect of others' prior nonprejudiced behavior on an individual's subsequent behavior. Five studies supported the hypothesis that people are more willing to express prejudiced attitudes when their group members' past behavior has established nonprejudiced credentials. Study 1a showed that participants who were told that their group was more moral than similar other groups were more willing to describe a job as better suited for Whites than for African Americans. In Study 1b, when given information on group members' prior nondiscriminatory behavior (selecting a Hispanic applicant in a prior task), participants subsequently gave more discriminatory ratings to the Hispanic applicant for a position stereotypically suited for majority members (Whites). In Study 2, moral self-concept mediated the effect of others' prior nonprejudiced actions on a participant's subsequent prejudiced behavior such that others' past nonprejudiced actions enhanced the participant's moral self-concept, and this inflated moral self-concept subsequently drove the participant's prejudiced ratings of a Hispanic applicant. In Study 3, the moderating role of identification with the credentialing group was tested. Results showed that participants expressed more prejudiced attitudes toward a Hispanic applicant when they highly identified with the group members behaving in nonprejudiced manner. In Study 4, the credentialing task was dissociated from the participants' own judgmental task, and, in addition, identification with the credentialing group was manipulated rather than measured. Consistent with prior studies, the results showed that participants who first had the opportunity to view an in-group member's nonprejudiced hiring decision were more likely to reject an African American man for a job stereotypically suited for majority members. EAEBHCM：一种扩展的基于属性加密的隐藏证书模型

基于身份加密体系的隐藏证书原始模型存在无法实现一对多的信息传输、对身份信息不具备容错功能且密文容易被共谋破解等缺点。提出的基于属性加密的隐藏证书扩展模型通过引入属性集合证书技术、基于加解密精度阈值等特性,解决了上述三个问题。在分析国内外相关研究进展的基础上,对扩展模型在体系架构、系统构造、双方信任协商协议、多方信任协商协议以及扩展模型解决复杂逻辑访问策略的方法等进行了详细的阐述,并对扩展模型的安全性进行了分析。通过一个典型的应用场景,对比分析了新旧隐藏证书技术在性能和安全性上的区别,阐明了扩展模型的优点。     

基于车载自组织网络的智能交通管理及应用

文章讨论了基于车载自组织网络(VANET)的道路车辆交通智能化管理和应用的3个实例:电子检查、许可证管理、行程规划。电子检查通过车辆上的转发传感器和路边系统的传感器通信,自动处理车辆的基本信息,实现车辆检查的自动化;许可证管理实现各省市之间交通车辆信息、车辆所属公司、驾驶员证件等信息的共享;行程规划系统实现对公共车辆位置、时间信息和出行者出行路线的实时更新和规划。     

“学做合一”办学理念的实践探索

介绍了我校在“学做合一”办学理念指导下,在实训基地的平台上开设机械制造类专业“基本技能”训练课程的实践与体会。“基本技能”训练课程,促进毕业生获得“双证书”,提高了实习实训质量和毕业生的技能和就业能力,培养了适应市场需求的合格人才,毕业生深受企业的欢迎。     

ATN中信任证链查找算法的研究

针对自动信任协商中分布式存储的信任证查找算法效率低下的问题,本文提出一种贪婪算法和双向查找算法相结合的信任证链查找算法,并通过控制信任证图生成的方向和限制信任证链查找时生成信任证图的大小来进一步提高查找的效率.仿真结果表明该算法生成的信任证图比其它算法生成的信任证图平均要小3％左右,在查找相同的信任证的情况下,改进算法的效率和其它算法相比提高了5％左右.
