It is generally accepted that diamond is resistant to a wide spectrum of electromagnetic radiation from the ultraviolet through to the soft X-ray range, which makes it very attractive for the fabrication of diamond-based photodetectors. However the effect of photon radiation on the diamond structure has not yet been examined. In the work presented here, photoelectron spectroscopy has been used to study the graphitization of nanodiamond crystallites exposed to extreme ultraviolet radiation. Under such irradiation, the surface hydrogen groups and graphite species are found to prevent graphitization. The mechanism of radiation-induced nanodiamond graphitization is discussed. 相似文献

基于Livermore模型CT图片构建人体躯干数字体模及其在肺部计数器虚拟刻度中的应用 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
基于Livermore 人体躯干物理模型CT图片构建数字体模,并结合蒙特卡罗程序MCNP对一套由四个宽能高纯锗探测器(BEGe)构成的肺部计数器进行了虚拟刻度.首先,利用点源(241Am,137Cs,60Co,54Mn,57Co,109Cd) 实验数据,对高纯锗晶体尺寸进行调整以获得正确的探测器几何参数,在γ射线能量13.9 keV~1332.5 keV范围内,调整后四个探测器全能峰效率实验测量的平均值与蒙特卡罗计算值的差别在±10%范围内.之后,对不同胸壁厚度(CWT=19 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 43 mm)躯干体模进行CT扫描获得其CT图片,利用Dosigray软件对CT图片进行分割后,连同探测器几何描述文件输入到OEDIPE软件,生成数字体模虚拟刻度用MCNP输入程序.最后,利用241Am、152Eu肺部源对数字体模虚拟刻度结果进行了实验验证,结果表明:在59.5 keV~1408 keV能量范围内,虚拟刻度结果与实验结果的差别在±10%之间;对于17.5 keV能量,差别在±30%之间. 相似文献

Astroparticle bolometric detectors often rely on the use of dilution refrigerators providing a large cooling power at millikelvin

A detailed study of several Micromegas detectors prototyped for the COMPASS and CLAS12 experiments is presented. Using a 150 GeV/c pion beam, the discharge probability was measured for several detector variants including bulk and non-bulk Micromegas. A detector equipped with an additional GEM foil as pre-amplification stage was also tested. A resistive coating of the readout strips was found to reduce the amplitude of the discharge by at least two orders of magnitude which was below the detection limit of the experimental setup. The effects of the micro-mesh type and material were investigated as well as the influence of the drift gap. Response in the presence of a 1.5 T transverse magnetic field was also studied. A radiation detector technology based on plasma display panels (PDPs), the underlying engine of panel plasma television displays, is being investigated. Emerging from this well-established television technology is the Plasma Panel Sensor (PPS), a novel variant of the micro-pattern radiation detector. The PPS is fundamentally a fast, high-resolution detector comprised of an array of plasma discharge cells, operating in a hermetically sealed gas mixture. 以动态背景中红外运动目标为研究对象,针对二维初级运动检测器在时域上对运动敏感而引起目标运动矢量受背景变化干扰的问题,提出一种结合时域中生物视觉二维初级运动检测器和空域中区域生长方法的运动检测方法。该方法利用时域中二维初级运动检测器检测出运动矢量并将幅值最大的运动矢量作为区域生长的种子点,利用空域中运动目标具有较高红外辐射的图像特性,通过区域生长法,将热辐射特性强于背景的目标分割出来。仿真实验结果表明:该方法在去除背景干扰的同时提取出动态背景中的运动目标,与其他方法相比具有较高的信杂比。 相似文献
