On the ambiguation of Polish notation

In this paper we study an alternative way of treating Polish notation. Instead of proving unique reading for a well-behaved set of terms, we interpret any string of the alphabet in a monoid that extends, in a specifiable sense, the given algebra of functions.     

The Thousand Polish Genomes—A Database of Polish Variant Allele Frequencies

Although Slavic populations account for over 4.5% of world inhabitants, no centralised, open-source reference database of genetic variation of any Slavic population exists to date. Such data are crucial for clinical genetics, biomedical research, as well as archeological and historical studies. The Polish population, which is homogenous and sedentary in its nature but influenced by many migrations of the past, is unique and could serve as a genetic reference for the Slavic nations. In this study, we analysed whole genomes of 1222 Poles to identify and genotype a wide spectrum of genomic variation, such as small and structural variants, runs of homozygosity, mitochondrial haplogroups, and de novo variants. Common variant analyses showed that the Polish cohort is highly homogenous and shares ancestry with other European populations. In rare variant analyses, we identified 32 autosomal-recessive genes with significantly different frequencies of pathogenic alleles in the Polish population as compared to the non-Finish Europeans, including C2, TGM5, NUP93, C19orf12, and PROP1. The allele frequencies for small and structural variants, calculated for 1076 unrelated individuals, are released publicly as The Thousand Polish Genomes database, and will contribute to the worldwide genomic resources available to researchers and clinicians.

The article elaborates the Lambda V.24/V.28 line encryptor and secure digital communications lines used by the Cold War Polish intelligence agencies.

Reverse polish notation method

The reverse Polish notation (RPN) is a well-known method for the expression notification in a postfix manner, instead of using the usual infix notation. Authors made a method for symbolic computation based on RPN. This method is successfully applied on a number of problems. In this article, there is a brief survey of these applications. In addition, the application of the method on algebraic computation of unary pairfunctions is presented.

A new ‘momentum method’ for the quantitative and qualitative evaluation of Polish rivers

There is a tendency in water management to identify the resources of surface waters with river discharge expressed by the intensity of the flow. However, such an evaluation is insufficient because of the difficulties in the water-economic balancing of the basin resources, since it does not take into account the volume of water contained in the river channel. With heavy pollution of the water flowing in the river channel, this fact may have a considerable influence on the representativity of the balance.The above reasons have become a basis for the introduction of a new measure for the evaluation of pollution resources of flowing water. The quantity of water in motion in a river channel is expressed by the momentum equation.Evaluation of water resources has been carried out for 83 rivers in the Vistula Basin and 52 rivers in the Odra Basin by means of the stream momentum method.     

基于Infineon平台的波兰语智能输入法实现

为了在Infineon平台上实现波兰语的智能输入法,该课题采用了模块化的设计方案,通过封装接口与平台接口的整合,Infineon平台的特点,并结合Zi8输入法和波兰语字符的特点,在PC端进行模拟仿真,采用模拟发短信的方式,成功实现了波兰语的智能联想输入,并顺利通过上屏显示验证。这种输入法,避免了以往输入法多次按键输入带来的不便,大大减少了输入的次数,使用户在输入时更高效、快捷、准确地得到想要的字符及词组。
