Satisfaction of twin objectives of maximization of Mn along with minimization of PDI do not necessarily guarantee the maximization of concentration of desired species in a semibatch epoxy polymerization process. As the final product consists of a number of polymer species, a need is felt to perform an advanced optimization study to come up with such process conditions for which the selective growth of a particular polymer species is maximized in minimum possible processing time and the population of other species should be at their lowest values. These above-mentioned conflicting objectives frame the platform for a multi-objective optimization problem, which is solved here using a real-coded non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm or NSGA II and Pareto optimal solutions are obtained. The decision variables are discrete addition rates of various ingredients, e.g. the amount of addition of bisphenol-A (a monomer), sodium hydroxide and epichlorohydrin at different time steps. All species balance equations, bounds on Mn, PDI and addition amounts are treated as constraints. Results are very promising in terms of optimized operations for selective enhancement of desired polymer species for the epoxy polymerization process. Total additions are kept very close to available experimental conditions to minimize probable extrapolation errors. It has been observed that preferential oligomer production is extremely difficult for epoxy polymerization. Lower chain polymers are the only choice for a good quality, stable polymer product.  相似文献

This paper develops a conceptual framework for text filtering practice and research, and reviews present practice in the field. Text filtering is an information seeking process in which documents are selected from a dynamic text stream to satisfy a relatively stable and specific information need. A model of the information seeking process is introduced and specialized to define text filtering. The historical development of text filtering is then reviewed and case studies of recent work are used to highlight important design characteristics of modern text filtering systems. User modeling techniques drawn from information retrieval, recommender systems, machine learning and other fields are described. The paper concludes with observations on the present state of the art and implications for future research on text filtering. This study has explored the potential energy surface on the chemical reaction of CH2OH with NO by using ab initio calculation. Methacrylic derivatives of bile acids have been synthesized for use as monomers in dental composites. Polymeric dental materials are known to leach cytotoxic unreacted monomers and degradation products. In this study, the in vitro cytotoxicity of bile acids and their derivatives towards 3T3 fibroblasts has been evaluated by colorimetric MTT assay and compared with that of the common dental monomers BisGMA, UDMA and TEGDMA. In general, the bile acids and their derivatives induced mitochondrial dysfunction at similar or higher concentrations than the commercial dental monomers. Certain monomers did not influence MTT response over their entire range of solubility.  相似文献

Selective epitaxial Si with a high arsenic concentration of 2.2×1019 atoms/cm3 was deposited at a high growth rate of 3.3 nm/min under atmospheric pressure. It was confirmed that this method had excellent selectivity and produced films having good crystalline quality, abrupt dopant profiles at the interfaces, and smooth surfaces. The growth mechanism is discussed in terms of the relationship between the effects of arsenic surface segregation and etching by hydrogen chloride.  相似文献

Aluminum has been used widely as a conducting material in the fabrication of integrated circuits, and chemical vapor deposition process for Al has been actively investigated for the application in ultra large scale integration. In this review, various precursors, mainly alkyl aluminum and alane compounds, and reaction mechanisms of these precursors in Al CVI) are described. A novel and efficient way of producing of aldonic acids is reported. The selective catalytic oxidation of monosaccharides (arabinose, ribose, xylose, lyxose, mannose, rhamnose, glucose, galactose, N-acetyl-glucosamine) and disaccharides (lactose, maltose, cellobiose, melibiose) on Au, Pd and Pt catalysts was investigated. By using the gold catalyst, a total selectivity with respect to aldonic acids and a high catalytic activity for all investigated sugars was found. The reaction conditions for the production of maltobionic and lactobionic acids via oxidation on gold catalysts were optimised. A high long-term stability of two different gold catalysts for the oxidation of maltose and lactose, respectively, was found.  相似文献
