Waveguide external cavity narrow linewidth semiconductor lasers

Narrow linewidth light source is a prerequisite for high-performance coherent optical communication and sensing.Waveguide-based external cavity narrow linewidth semiconductor lasers(WEC-NLSLs)have become a competitive and attractive candidate for many coherent applications due to their small size,volume,low energy consumption,low cost and the ability to integrate with other optical components.In this paper,we present an overview of WEC-NLSLs from their required technologies to the state-of-the-art progress.Moreover,we highlight the common problems occurring to current WEC-NLSLs and show the possible approaches to resolving the issues.Finally,we present the possible development directions for the next phase and hope this review will be beneficial to the advancements of WEC-NLSLs.     

Torsional statics of two-dimensionally functionally graded microtubes

A size-dependent governing equation is derived to investigate the torsional static behaviors of two-dimensionally functionally graded microtubes based on the modified couple stress theory. The shear modulus is assumed to vary along the tube’s length direction according to an exponential distribute function, and varies along the tube’s radius direction according to a power-law function. A generalized differential quadrature method is developed to determine the rotational angle and shear stresses. Some illustrative examples are given to investigate the effects of applied torques, the length scale parameter and various material compositions on the torsional angle and shear stresses.     

Binary Ti–Fe system. Part I: Experimental investigation at high pressure

The present work illustrates the effect of quasi-hydrostatic pressure on the positions and widths of the homogeneity ranges of the intermetallic phases TiFe and TiFe₂ at high temperatures. The experiments were performed with Ti–Fe diffusion couples that were heat treated in a multi-anvil press at 2.5 GPa. The solubility limits of the phases were derived from the concentration profiles that were measured using electron probe microanalysis. It was found that the homogeneity ranges of TiFe and TiFe₂ extend to higher titanium concentrations, if the pressure is applied. The positions of the phase boundaries of the intermetallics on the iron-rich side are not affected by the pressure. The accuracy of the experimental data including the homogeneity ranges and temperatures was verified by comparing the homogeneity ranges of β-Ti(Fe), α/δ-Fe(Ti) and γ-Fe measured in this study with the homogeneity ranges taken from literature. The pressure was calibrated using the pressure-induced phase transitions of bismuth.     

Waves in generalized thermo-viscoelastic infinite continuum with cylindrical cavity due to three-phase-lag time-nonlocal heat transfer

Abstract

Generalized thermoelastic interactions due to three-phase-lag time-nonlocal heat transfer in a Kelvin-Voigt type infinitely extended visco-thermoelastic continuum with cylindrical cavity has been investigated. The two-temperature generalized thermoelasticity theory has also been taken into account. The problem has been solved in the domain of Laplace on the assumption that the surface of the cavity is free from traction and is subjected to a smooth and time-dependent-heating effect. Laplace inversion of the transformed solutions has been carried out numerically. The obtained numerical data for different considerations are plotted in graphs to study the effects of time-nonlocal parameter, two-temperature parameter and visco-thermoelastic relaxation parameter on different thermoelastic quantities of physical interest.     

Nd:YVO4/KTP全固化倍频激光器的研究

介绍了两种腔型结构不同的Nd:YVO4/KTP全固化倍频绿光激光器,对腔结构参数进行了优化计算;在相同的实验条件下,对这两种腔的输出和稳定性等特性进行了比较和深入分析,在此基础上得出结论,提出改进措施。该折叠腔方案已进入产品化阶段。     

三光子吸收效应对孤子对传输的影响

用分步傅里叶变换法求解含三光子吸收效应的光孤子NLS方程，研究了三光子吸收效应对孤子对在传输中相互作用的影响。研究发现，在特定条件下，三光子吸收效应能使孤子对无离合地平行传输。     

提高柴油机缸盖内腔铸造质量的工艺措施

缸盖是柴油机上的重要零件之一。铸造毛坯不可避免地存在劈缝、内腔粘砂、粗糙、局部不通等内腔质量问题 ,从而影响缸盖串水冷却效果。本文介绍了一些工艺措施 ,较好地解决了这个问题。     

定向棱镜腔平顶高斯激光束特性的研究

在XeCl准分子激光器中,采用定向棱镜作为端反射镜与平面输出镜构成激光器谐振腔,获得了近场能量分布均匀、远场能量分布高度集中的相干平顶高斯激光束输出,并具有腔镜高抗失调能力,改善了激光束质量。     

Bandpass filters using periodically loaded combline resonators

A novel combline filter is proposed for cellular‐radio base stations. The Q‐factor is significantly improved. The eigenvalue equation is expressed with the single‐team approximation in the gap region of the combline resonator. A two‐pole combline filter is designed. The calculation, simulation, and experiment results are presented and are in good agreement. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J RF and Microwave CAE, 2006.     

气流式加速度传感器的敏感机理

介绍了在研制气流式加速度传感器过程中，为对气流式加速度传感器进行建模，作者对气流式加速度传感器的工作机理进行了理论性探讨。在分析过程中以流体力学、传热学和惯性理论为基础并结合实验结果，建立了适合于气流式加速度传感器的气体运动方程和能量方程。同时还讨论了热线测量加速度的方法及根据实验分析了输入加速度对腔体内温度及传感器输出电压的影响，从而为进一步研究一系列气流式传感器的工作机理提供了方法。
