Awards for Distinguished Contributions to Psychology in the Public Interest: 1986.

The awards for Distinguished Contributions to Psychology in the Public Interest recognize persons who, in the opinion of the Committee on Public Interest Awards, have advanced psychology as a science and/or profession by a single extraordinary achievement or a lifetime of outstanding contributions in the public interest. These contributions might include the identification or solution of significant social problems; unusual initiative or dedication to activity in the public interest; or the integration of the science and/or profession of psychology with social action in a manner beneficial to all. The Committee is authorized to present two awards per year, each with a prize of $2,000. The second award, for which recipients may not have held a Ph.D. for more than 15 years, was established to recognize the large number of excellent psychologists who have made significant contributions to the public interest during the early stages of their careers. Distinguished Scientific Awards for an Early Career Contribution to Psychology.

The Early Career Awards recognize the large number of excellent young psychologists. Recipients of this award may not have held a PhD for more than nine years. The areas considered in 1991 were animal learning and behavior, developmental, and personality. The winners for 1991 were Kent C. Berridge, Susan A. Gelman, and Randy J. Larsen. Leopold Bellak.

Since 1979, Professional Awards have been presented to individual members of the Association whose distinguished contributions have served to advance psychology as a profession in the areas of knowledge, professional practice, and public service. In 1992, Leopold Bellak received the award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Knowledge. His professional career as psychologist, psychiatrist, and psychoanalyst encompassed seminal contributions to the fields of psychopathology, psychoanalysis, psychological testing, brief psychotherapy, and community mental health. The author of more than 200 publications, he is perhaps best known to psychologists for his work with the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) and the development of the Children's Apperception Test. State psychological association creates a postdoctoral residency and internship training program.

State psychological associations can respond to supply and demand problems for postdoctoral residencies and internships by creating statewide training programs. A state psychological association training model is presented. The Arizona Psychological Association (AzPA) created a nonprofit subsidiary corporation- the Arizona Psychology Training Consortium-to increase the number of high-quality training opportunities in Arizona. The structure and operation of the program are described. The training model emphasizes cultural diversity, psychotherapy, and independent practice. Members of the practice community in Arizona serve as supervisors, trainers, and mentors. From 2001 through 2006, 19 postdoctoral residents and 51 interns completed the program. AzPA has benefited from increased student involvement. Many residents and interns later became association members. 基于云模型的科技奖励评审模型研究

云模型是实现定性概念与定量表示之间不确定性转换的模型,它把模糊性和随机性有机结合起来。本文提出了一种基于云模型的科技奖励评审模型,利用云模型客观描述项目的评分在各属性下的分布情况,通过计算云模型参数来确定云模型数字特征图或云滴分布情况,并以此确定最后等级。结果表明,该模型能够解决项目单一属性分类及非共识等问题,同时能够客观地反映出项目实际综合评审结果,从而使得评审更加公平合理。
