Depression in ethnically diverse women: Implications for treatment in primary care settings.

What do health care practitioners need to know about providing adequate care for depressed minority women? This article examined the prevalence of depressive symptoms and clinical depression in ethnic minorities, the extent to which current health service utilization is congruent with needs, and the effectiveness of treatments provided to ethnic minorities in the primary care setting. The impact of ethnic minority women's sociocultural context on symptom expression and help-seeking behavior is also discussed. Finally, the clinical implications for accurate assessment and treatment of ethnic minority women by both medical and mental health practitioners working in the primary care sector are addressed. An alcohol expectancy-challenge prevention program for at risk college women.

Alcohol expectancy-challenge programs are effective in changing expectancies and reducing drinking in college men (J. Darker & M. S. Goldman. 1993. 1998); however, recent evidence suggests this protocol might not be effective for women (M. E. Dunn, C. Lau, & I. Y. Cruz, 2000). This study was designed to reevaluate the effectiveness of a social/sexual expectancy-challenge intervention in college women reporting moderate to heavy alcohol use. Forty-six undergraduate women were randomly assigned to the prevention or control condition. Participants reported alcohol expectancies at pre- and posttest and monitored their drinking patterns daily for 6 weeks. The program was effective in changing some expectancies but did not reduce drinking. This further confirms differences in the mechanisms by which expectancy-challenge programs function for men and women. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)

从女性主义的角度对北京、武汉两地的女性建筑师执业状况进行了调查研究，根据调查结果重点分析了中国女性建筑师的处境和面临的问题，并进—步探讨女性建筑师应如何扮演这一独特的社会角色。     

Effects of Economic Pressure on Marital Conflict in Romania.

This study examined the interrelationships among economic pressure, maternal depression, social support, and marital conflict in a sample of 239 mothers in Romania. Data were collected through a school-based survey. Findings indicated that higher levels of economic pressure were associated with higher levels of marital conflict. Economic pressure was also associated with higher marital conflict indirectly through increased maternal depression and lowered social support. Parametric 3D modeling of young women's lower bodies based on shape classification

Three-dimensional (3D) human body modeling is an important research direction in the field of clothing virtual design. On the basis of 3D human body scanning, this paper studied a method to build a 3D parametric lower body model according to body classification. The research includes three main parts. (1) Anthropometry and body shape classification. We randomly selected 333 young women ages 18–25 years old in Northeast China as the experimental sample. Then we divided the lower body shape into three categories using principal component analysis and K-means clustering. (2) Determination of feature cross sections and points, and reconstruction of feature curves. According to the average values of each body type, we obtained the mean reference body by Euclidean distance method. We determined feature cross sections and points, and extracted the 3D coordinates of the feature points of the mean reference body to reconstruct the feature curves. (3) The surface lofting and establishment of parametric 3D lower body model. According to the shape characteristics of the lower body, we constructed the guiding lines for the crotch and lower limbs, and established parametric lower body models for three body types.Relevance to industry3D human modeling is an important part of garment industry digitization. This research provides an effective way to construct a parametric 3D lower body model. The method offers a reference for the parametric virtual human modeling and virtual fitting of trousers.     

基于AHP法的中低收入群体住房改善方案分析

通过对中低收入群体住房现状分析,构建了以相对最佳的住房改善方案为目标层;以住户对住房产品的满意、社会人均住房水平提高的效率高、参与建设各方获得良好经济效益3方面组成准则层;以经济适用房、廉租房、双限房、普通商品住房构成方案层的AHP模型。进行赋值计算后,得出当前发展经济适用房是相对最佳方案,发展廉租房次之,发展双限房第三,发展普通商品住房排名最后的结论。     

关于女性遭受家庭暴力的法律思考

家庭暴力是近年来我国婚姻领域的突出问题,家庭暴力事件呈上升趋势,男尊女卑、父权制的封建陋习造成家庭暴力的受害者多为女性,而家庭暴力行为的隐秘性、残暴性、反复性,使得反家庭暴力存在困难。立足于中国的实际,文章以家庭暴力的法律规制为切入点,反思家庭暴力的产生原因,并对防止和制裁家庭暴力问题展开深入的理论研究,以期为我国的家庭暴力规制制度的完善尽一份绵薄之力。     

纬编针织女装基础纸样研究

采用立体裁剪的方法,对5种纬编针织面料进行了女装基础衣片的试制,就针织服装中常用的结构参数进行了研究,为女装针织结构的设计提供了有益的参考.     

学生群体紧急疏散仿真及在出口设计中的应用

针对学校大型建筑中人群分布密集的问题,研究了学生群体的紧急疏散仿真.首先分析了紧急情况下的群体行为特点,并根据现实生活中个体差异的统计特征,对逃生人群的不同属性特征进行了分类,然后采用社会力模型实现了学生群体的紧急疏散仿真,解决了传统疏散仿真中人员的无差异性问题.该仿真能够更加真实地反映出现实生活中的人群疏散,达到较好的效果.最后,基于该仿真模型,着重分析了建筑物出口设计对群体疏散的影响,分析结果表明:不同的出口宽度、位置对群体疏散的影响不同,从而可以为大型建筑的出口设计提供有益的参考.
